Amanda Holden has shown off a magnificent Greek property that previously appeared in a beloved ITV series. Located along Corfu's stunning coastline, this villa offers space for up to 10 visitors and provides the perfect setting for a European summer getaway.
Sharing on her Instagram Story yesterday, Amanda disclosed how much she and her daughter Hollie, affectionately known as 'HRH', adored the programme it was featured in. "If you know you know," she said on Sunday.
"The Durrells... @ionianestates." The TV star also added: "Me and #HRH were big fans of The Durrells. TV show." Broadcasting from 2016 to 2019, The Durrells proved a hit ITV comedy-drama chronicling a British family adapting to their new life on the Greek island of Corfu in the 1930s.
The show draws inspiration from real events, based on Gerald Durrells' Corfu Trilogy, with filming for the ITV programme taking place mainly in Danilia village. The cast featured numerous well-known actors, including Keeley Hawes in the role of Louisa Durrell.

Earlier in August, premium holiday property specialists Ionian Estates also shared multiple stunning images of the Corfu residence in an Instagram post. Their representatives said the property features five bedrooms in total plus a private swimming pool, creating a 'perfect spot to unwind'.
The post read: "Sleeping up to 10 guests and situated right on the seafront, this five-bedroom villa with private pool is the perfect spot to unwind, explore and soak up the laid-back rhythm of Corfu life."
It is not yet clear how much it costs to spend a night at The Durrell property, but Ionian Estates has been approached for further information.
Amanda's post comes just a few months after she revealed her family were also selling a £895,000 property on Rightmove. This 'true rural gem', which is still available, is nestled in Hersham, a small hamlet south of Kilkhampton in Cornwall.
The TV star's parents admitted they are 'begrudgingly' giving up their home to be closer to family and friends. In a Rightmove advert, they mentioned it's only a five-minute drive from stunning sandy beaches and popular spots like Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor.

"We are sad to leave this lovely home we have lived in for over 22 years," Amanda's family said, according to the Mirror. "We will miss the early morning bird song and the gorgeous vistas and spectacular sunsets from different viewpoints throughout our gardens.

"We have had many wonderful memories of barbecues in the garden with family and friends. Unfortunately age has caught up with us and begrudgingly we feel the time has come to downsize and be nearer to family.
"We will miss our wonderful house and all our neighbours (95% of which are still here). It is so peaceful and quiet and very private and although in a country lane only five mins car ride away from amenities and the wonderful sandy beaches."
The Cornish home is presently on the market for £895,000 through Rightmove. For further details, visit its website or get in touch with Fine and Country Bude.

Katie Price's defiant post about motherhood after denying 'rift' with Princess Andre
Katie Price has shared a quote about parenthood following the launch of her daughter Princess Andre's reality TV show, which she had previously said that she wouldn't watch A post about motherhood has been shared by Katie Price this week amid speculation over her relationship with her eldest daughter Princess Andre. It comes following the launch of the Princess Diaries over the weekend. Katie, 47, has claimed she wasn't allowed to appear in the ITV show, which follows Princess, 18, who's the youngest of her two children with her ex-husband Peter Andre, 52. She's also criticised the teenager's management for not "allowing" her to guide her daughter in her career. READ MORE: Katie Price worries fans with appearance in family photo after explaining weight loss Katie shared a post about being a mother, which had been uploaded by the page INEX Digital Wealth on Instagram, with her followers on the platform this afternoon. It appeared to be titled: "Your mom is not your enemy." It read: "She may not always say things the way you want to hear them, but her heart is always in the right place. She's the one who worries when you're hurting, prays when you're lost, and stands by you even when the world doesn't." The post shared by Katie concluded: "She's not trying to control you. She's trying to protect you. She may not be perfect, but she's the only woman in this world who truly wants what's best for you, even if it costs her everything." Princess is the third eldest of Katie's five children. Her family also includes Junior Andre, 20, who is the eldest of her two kids with Peter, and eldest son Harvey Price, 23. It comes after the Princess Diaries launched last night. Katie had previously said that she wouldn't be watching it and expressed her disappointment over her apparent lack of involvement with her eldest daughter's career to date. As previously reported, she said on an episode of the Katie Price Show podcast that she had offered to take part in the reality TV show 'for free' but was turned down. Katie said she's "very upset" that Princess' career is being managed by her ex-husband Peter's management, the CAN Group, who she alleged consider Katie to be "trash". Katie said on the podcast: "Princess is taking that same path [as I did in my career] – trying to do the same as what I've done – which I absolutely love and adore of Princess but I have not been allowed to go on any photoshoot, no signings or Superdrug openings or anything like that. Why? Because I'm not allowed and I'm not welcome." And dismissing rumours of a rift between the mother and daughter, Katie said: "Me and Princess have never, ever, ever had an argument to this day or a disagreement. We get on like best friends, mother and daughter. Princess lives with me and she stays at her dad's. Now, she's been staying at her dad's the past two months because she's been filming her show. And our personal life together is amazing." As reported last night, Princess spoke about her mother in the first episode of her show and said that she's like a "best friend". She's quoted as having said in a scene: "Me and my mum now, we're so close. We're like best friends." In a statement, Princess' management later responded to Katie's criticism. The CAN Group told the Mirror recently: "As a company, our duty of care to our clients is paramount. We would never advise a client on their personal life unless asked and we have never stopped anyone seeing their families."

JD Vance's secret service 'circus' takes over sleepy Cotswolds village
Locals have been left shell-shocked after US vice-president JD Vance and his secret service motorcade rode into their sleepy hamlet on his very British holiday to the Cotswolds. Taking time off from being ruthlessly mocked in South Park, the US vice president is winding down for the summer holidays in the hamlet of Dean, near Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire. But villagers are being overwhelmed by the 'Men in Black' like security entourage treating 'old ladies like terrorists' and implementing roadblocks that put a burden on the idyllic location. One woman told The Times the village had seen 'one blinking pantomime after the other' and said: 'We are used to the great and good here. Before David Cameron moved in we had Douglas Hurd and he was lovely. 'We have Ben Kingsley in Spelsbury and we see him in the woods walking his dog, but to close off the roads is ridiculous.' The woman told the paper she and a friend had been stopped by police blocking a footpath while walking through the area, and said: 'I told the police 'we are two old ladies, we are hardly terrorists'.' Another local told the Guardian police were knocking on doors asking for personal details of residents and their social media accounts. He said: 'I know several people refused. We asked them if they were protecting us, or Vance. At least they were honest and said it is for him and that it will all be passed on to the American security people.' One local ranted to LBC: 'Generally we like to welcome everybody to Chipping Norton, but no, I'd absolutely kick him in the shins.' Vance is visiting the Cotswolds, nestled in the lush rollinghills, with his wife Usha and children Ewan, Mirabel and Vivek. They are renting a luxurious home from Johnny and Pippa Hornby, who have transformed the Edwardian garden into a 'waterworld' with added swimming pools. In a message seen by The Telegraph, Ms Hornby told neighbours she was 'so sorry for the circus that is there for the next few days', and that she hoped it would not be 'too disruptive'. But JD Vance was mixing business with pleasure as he visited British foreign secretary David Lammy on Saturday. The meeting took place at the Foreign Secretary's official country retreat, Chevening, in Kent, where Mr Vance stayed at the start of his UK jaunt. After the meeting, Mr Lammy said: 'The UK's support for Ukraine remains ironclad as we continue working towards a just and lasting peace.' It is understood that the meeting had been called at Washington's request, and included representatives from the US, Ukraine, France, Germany, Italy, Finland and Poland as well as the UK.
