A BRIDE was devastated when her new husband killed himself the day after their "perfect" honeymoon - before sending her flowers from beyond the grave.
Isabel Coles married her husband Christopher in September 2024 after meeting on a dating app a year and a half before, and said they were "insanely happy".

As music was a big part of their relationship, the newlyweds chose to go to a beach-front music festival at the iconic Asbury Park in New Jersey, US, for their honeymoon.
"We were so insanely happy and in love," Isabel said.
"We went to the Sea.Here.Now Festival for our honeymoon - it was the perfect way to celebrate our marriage."
But upon returning from the seaside festival, Isabel, 32, said her husband began to act "weird" and refused to tell her what was on his mind.
The 28-year-old is said to have left the house the morning after the honeymoon with a handgun and walked to a nearby forest despite his wife's attempts to stop him.
"In the morning, he was folding laundry and things were a little weird. I asked him what was wrong, and he said 'nothing'," Isabel recalled.
"He went downstairs and tried to get out. I stood at the front door and asked what was going on.
"He got out and started heading towards the woods.
"I ran upstairs to get shoes on and realised he had taken his handgun."
The army veteran was reportedly found by his father the following morning, having taken his own life.
Virginia Giuffre showed 'no signs' she was suicidal as conspiracy rage
"I was shocked, I was devastated," Isabel, from Southern Pines, North Carolina, US, said.
"He was great during our honeymoon, we had a great time.
"My husband was very successful and very driven and motivated and he was such a good person, so looking back I think, 'were there signs?'
"He was very hard on himself, always pushing himself. There were no signs, it did take me really off guard.
"After he passed, I got an overwhelming amount of messages from people saying we looked so happy and that they always wanted what we had."
In a final bizarre twist, Isabel was stunned to receive a bouquet of flowers from Christopher months after his death - as he'd arranged them to be delivered while he would be away with the military.
You're Not Alone
EVERY 90 minutes in the UK a life is lost to suicide
It doesn't discriminate, touching the lives of people in every corner of society – from the homeless and unemployed to builders and doctors, reality stars and footballers.
It's the biggest killer of people under the age of 35, more deadly than cancer and car crashes.
And men are three times more likely to take their own life than women.
Yet it's rarely spoken of, a taboo that threatens to continue its deadly rampage unless we all stop and take notice, now.
That is why The Sun launched the You're Not Alone campaign.
The aim is that by sharing practical advice, raising awareness and breaking down the barriers people face when talking about their mental health, we can all do our bit to help save lives.
Let's all vow to ask for help when we need it, and listen out for others… You're Not Alone.

"In February I got a flower delivery from him and I freaked out," she said.
"I contacted the florist and they said he ordered the flowers in September because he knew he would be deployed and travelling back around Valentine's Day."
The mum-of-one shared her story online on a viral video which has gathered almost 40 million views.
Isabel claims some commenters have slammed her for sharing her husband's story and blame her for his death.
There are things I do blame myself for but I don't think we were unhappy or that I did it
Isabel Coles
Isabel now aims to raise awareness about mental health and plans to run the Chicago Marathon in October 2025 to support the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
"Everyone wants a reason why," she said.
"No one believes that a smart, handsome, successful man who has a great life wakes up one day and decides to end his life.
"There are people in my life that say I had something to do with it.
"I know it's not true, my husband and I were very happy.
"No one can change that or take that away from me.
"There are things I do blame myself for but I don't think we were unhappy or that I did it.
"He obviously was fighting demons and no one knew about it."
As for how Isabel is coping following her husband's death, she admitted she's "not doing well".
"There's a part of me that is gone forever," she sighed.
"There's still so much that I'm dealing with that make me feel like I'm re-living the moment over and over again which is very tough.
"He didn't do it to hurt me, he wouldn't do anything to hurt me. For whatever reason he probably thought that people would be better off without him."

I watched ISIS burn my pilot brother alive in a cage – I begged the air force to bomb jail so he'd be spared cruel death

His mother was hospitalised after hearing of her son's cruel killing and his sister was diagnosed with diabetes LEFT TO DIE I watched ISIS burn my pilot brother alive in a cage – I begged the air force to bomb jail so he'd be spared cruel death Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) THE brother of a pilot who was burned alive in Syria by ISIS said he begged air forces to bomb the jail where he was being held to spare him a cruel death. Speaking at the Stockholm district court on Wednesday, Jawdat al-Kassasbeh recounted the turmoil he and his family have endured since his brother Maaz al-Kassasbeh was savagely killed. A few weeks later, ISIS released a video of al-Kasasbeh being burned alive in a cage. Osama Krayem, a 32-year-old Swede already serving long prison sentences for his role in the Paris and Brussels attacks in 2015 and 2016, is on trial in Stockholm for his role in the pilot's killing. The slain pilot's brother told the court of the physical and psychological trauma he and his family have suffered since his sibling's death. He said he learned of his capture through a relative who worked at Jordan's foreign ministry and immediately headed to the air force headquarters. He said: "There, I see that the head of the air force and the operations teams are having a meeting on the subject... There were large screens showing images of Syria. He told me: 'I think he's in this house', "Psychologically, I was not doing well at that moment. So I told the head of the air force that ... I thought (IS fighters) would kill him in a horrible way. "I asked if it would be possible to bomb the house so he could be spared an atrocious death," he added. Jawdat later found out about his brother's death on TV. He said: "It was a shock. I watched the whole video but in bits. I couldn't watch the entire video until 2021." He added that the cruel nature in which his brother was killed took a massive toll on the whole family, in particular his mother who had to be hospitalised. I fought ISIS in Syria & I know bloodthirsty thugs are plotting comeback after fall of Assad - Europe must be ready, says Brit fighter Jawdat also puts his sister's diabetes down to his brother's torturous death, as well as his dad's hypertension and poor mental health. The court hearing comes as another ISIS leader believed to have also been involved in burning the Jordanian pilot to death was captured. Syrian national Saddam al-Jamal was captured in Iraq after being lured from Syria by intelligence officers using the phone of Ismail al-Ethawi, an ISIS lieutenant captured in February. Tipped as a future leader of the terrorist organisation, al-Jamal was known for his brutality. Jordanian authorities accused him of also being behind the brutal execution of downed pilot. A former commander in the Free Syrian Army which fought against President Bashar al-Assad's forces, al-Jamal had also taken part in multiple atrocities including a 2014 massacre in Deir Ezzor, Syria, in which 700 members of a tribe opposed to ISIS were killed. He also ordered the execution of children, sometimes in front of their parents. Al-Ethawi, who was captured in February, was a top aide to ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Intelligence officers used his account on Telegram, a social media app favoured by terror organisations because it encrypts messages, to lure the other four high-ranking leaders out of Syria. The five of them were on a group chat together. Iraqi security adviser Hisham al Hashemi told The Telegraph that Iraqi troops were surprised to see the four senior senior jihadists travel on motorcycles, having expecting them to arrive in a motorcade. Al-Hashemi also said that American troops also took part in the operation. ISIS field commanders Mohamed al-Qadeer, Issam Abdel Kader al-Zawba'i and Omar Shehab El-Karboul were also captured in the sting, which has been praised by Donald Trump. 'Five Most Wanted leaders of ISIS just captured,' the US president posted on Twitter last week. 6 Jordanian pilot executed by ISIS 6 Saddam al-Jamal pictured in images broadcast on Iraqi TV

Meghan hiding her kids' faces is a scheme, she'll be making money from the big reveal in no time, expert says

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) THE Duchess of Sussex hiding her children's faces is a money-making scheme, according to a royal expert. The Sun's Royal photographer Arthur Edwards accused Meghan Markle of "exploiting" her kids after posting rare footage of them at Disneyland last week. The video on Instagram showed both her and Prince Harry beaming as they tackled various rides and sported Mickey Mouse ears. But the ex-Suits actress covered up both Archie, five, and Lilibet's faces with emojis and purposefully took other shots angled from behind. She captioned the video: "Thank you @disneyland for giving our family two days of pure joy!" The Sun's Royal photographer Arthur Edwards slammed Meghan's post as a "money-making scheme". Speaking on The Sun's Royal Exclusive show, he said: "I don't know why we can't see the children's faces. "I think she's obviously got some sort of scheme there where she might want some money ties on one day, I don't know. "But those children, I feel sorry for them really. I mean, they've got cousins here, they're never going to meet and never going to play with. "There's palaces here and castles here that they could enjoy as well and spend summer holidays with their cousins. I feel really sorry for them, cooped up in that place. "Will we ever see their faces? I don't know, maybe one day she'll produce a calendar or something of her children's faces and that'll be sort of another Meghan special." The footage starts with Lilibet excitedly dragging her dad through the park entrance before she is given a special greeting by a Disney princess. Next, the whole family are seen on a log flume and then the four-year-old appears on a Dumbo ride. It was reminiscent of photos taken of the Duke when he was eight and his mother Diana took him and William to Walt Disney World in Florida in 1993. The trio also took a trip to UK-theme park Alton Towers the following year. Chris Ship, ITV Royal Editor, added: "If you want to put your kids on social media, that's absolutely fine, you're taking that responsibility as a parent. "You've also got every right to keep them private and not put them on. "I just don't really like this, here's a picture of my kid, I'm going to put a big emoji over their face so you can't see because that's me protecting their privacy. "I'd rather not see them at all, if you want to protect them, rather than show them the corner of their ear in a photo." 5 Meghan Markle posted this cute snap for Lilibet's birthday Credit: instagram/meghan

Sir Andy Murray tells Grand Slams to ‘do better' as Coco Gauff reveals real size of French Open trophy she gets to keep

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) SIR ANDY MURRAY sent a message to tennis chiefs to do better after Coco Gauff revealed how much smaller her actual French Open trophy really is. Gauff, 21, won Roland-Garros on Saturday by beating Aryna Sabalenka 6-7 6-2 6-4 in Paris to become the first American to win the crown since Serena Williams 10 years ago. The tennis star posted a video of herself in her private jet revealing her actual trophy... and how much smaller it really is. Gauff said on TikTok while gesturing to a picture of her posing with the larger replica: 'This is the trophy that you guys see, the one that we take pictures with, do press with and all that. 'But, actually, we don't get to take this home. This stays with the tournament." Gauff then showed the much smaller trophy and added: 'This is the one we take home. It's like a mini replica of the trophy,. It's… Really small.' The Florida native then left fans aghast when she placed the trophy next to a tiny Perrier bottle, which was just a bit smaller than the esteemed title. Gauff continued: 'That's how small it is. But, you know, it's the memories that matter the most.' That left Murray, 38, shocked as he took to social media to address the situation. CASINO SPECIAL - BEST CASINO BONUSES FROM £10 DEPOSITS The former World's No1 shared a clip of late night talkshow host Jimmy Fallon praising Gauff on his Instagram story. Murray added the following post: "Surely the tennis majors can do a better job with the replica trophies!? They are tiny." Aryna Sabalenka shows her disappointment after defeat to Coco Gauff The British legend knows all there is about the French Open trophy as he won it himself back in 2016.
