A BRIDE was devastated when her new husband killed himself the day after their "perfect" honeymoon - before sending her flowers from beyond the grave.
Isabel Coles married her husband Christopher in September 2024 after meeting on a dating app a year and a half before, and said they were "insanely happy".

As music was a big part of their relationship, the newlyweds chose to go to a beach-front music festival at the iconic Asbury Park in New Jersey, US, for their honeymoon.
"We were so insanely happy and in love," Isabel said.
"We went to the Sea.Here.Now Festival for our honeymoon - it was the perfect way to celebrate our marriage."
But upon returning from the seaside festival, Isabel, 32, said her husband began to act "weird" and refused to tell her what was on his mind.
The 28-year-old is said to have left the house the morning after the honeymoon with a handgun and walked to a nearby forest despite his wife's attempts to stop him.
"In the morning, he was folding laundry and things were a little weird. I asked him what was wrong, and he said 'nothing'," Isabel recalled.
"He went downstairs and tried to get out. I stood at the front door and asked what was going on.
"He got out and started heading towards the woods.
"I ran upstairs to get shoes on and realised he had taken his handgun."
The army veteran was reportedly found by his father the following morning, having taken his own life.
Virginia Giuffre showed 'no signs' she was suicidal as conspiracy rage
"I was shocked, I was devastated," Isabel, from Southern Pines, North Carolina, US, said.
"He was great during our honeymoon, we had a great time.
"My husband was very successful and very driven and motivated and he was such a good person, so looking back I think, 'were there signs?'
"He was very hard on himself, always pushing himself. There were no signs, it did take me really off guard.
"After he passed, I got an overwhelming amount of messages from people saying we looked so happy and that they always wanted what we had."
In a final bizarre twist, Isabel was stunned to receive a bouquet of flowers from Christopher months after his death - as he'd arranged them to be delivered while he would be away with the military.
You're Not Alone
EVERY 90 minutes in the UK a life is lost to suicide
It doesn't discriminate, touching the lives of people in every corner of society – from the homeless and unemployed to builders and doctors, reality stars and footballers.
It's the biggest killer of people under the age of 35, more deadly than cancer and car crashes.
And men are three times more likely to take their own life than women.
Yet it's rarely spoken of, a taboo that threatens to continue its deadly rampage unless we all stop and take notice, now.
That is why The Sun launched the You're Not Alone campaign.
The aim is that by sharing practical advice, raising awareness and breaking down the barriers people face when talking about their mental health, we can all do our bit to help save lives.
Let's all vow to ask for help when we need it, and listen out for others… You're Not Alone.

"In February I got a flower delivery from him and I freaked out," she said.
"I contacted the florist and they said he ordered the flowers in September because he knew he would be deployed and travelling back around Valentine's Day."
The mum-of-one shared her story online on a viral video which has gathered almost 40 million views.
Isabel claims some commenters have slammed her for sharing her husband's story and blame her for his death.
There are things I do blame myself for but I don't think we were unhappy or that I did it
Isabel Coles
Isabel now aims to raise awareness about mental health and plans to run the Chicago Marathon in October 2025 to support the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
"Everyone wants a reason why," she said.
"No one believes that a smart, handsome, successful man who has a great life wakes up one day and decides to end his life.
"There are people in my life that say I had something to do with it.
"I know it's not true, my husband and I were very happy.
"No one can change that or take that away from me.
"There are things I do blame myself for but I don't think we were unhappy or that I did it.
"He obviously was fighting demons and no one knew about it."
As for how Isabel is coping following her husband's death, she admitted she's "not doing well".
"There's a part of me that is gone forever," she sighed.
"There's still so much that I'm dealing with that make me feel like I'm re-living the moment over and over again which is very tough.
"He didn't do it to hurt me, he wouldn't do anything to hurt me. For whatever reason he probably thought that people would be better off without him."

‘Super Sperm Donor' TV star ‘recreated alleged sex attack', court told
The court heard how he jetted off to the Philippines to donate sperm to a couple in October 2022 Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A RAPE accused told a jury how he's recreated the alleged sex attack with his latest girlfriend. Mitchell Kennedy, 42, is alleged to have pounced on his ex in her own bedroom as she tried to dump him. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 1 Mitchell Kennedy is accused of raping his partner after she tried to dump him But as he gave evidence in his own defence, the dad-of-two rubbished the claims and told the jury it would be impossible for him to do what he's been accused of. He said: 'She said we had sex with her on top. I held her by her hips. 'It's ridiculous. It's nonsense. I tried it out with my partner. There is no way a man can hold a woman on top of him. 'It's all an attention seeking thing. It is a horrendous experience she has put herself through with these false allegations. 'Why would anyone do this? It's hell for her as well. I believe it's the process that has traumatised her.' We told how Mitchell, from Aberdeen, appeared in a TV show called Britain's Super Sperm Donors. His trial at the High Court in the city heard he jetted off to the Philippines to donate to a couple in October 2022. He told the court the week-long trip came a day after he returned from a disappointing break to Majorca with his ex-girlfriend, who's 23. A pal of the woman told jurors: 'He went to the Philippines for what I believe to be a sperm donation. 'When he got back that was the end of the relationship because she didn't trust him.' Moment evil soldier who raped woman in town centre is caught cowering in toilet The trial was told the woman summoned him to her flat to split with him in November 2022 after he avoided seeing her for three weeks. A concerned flatmate claimed they heard the couple kissing and arguing through the door but they couldn't get her to leave the room. They then got a family member to contact her and falsely claim they had hurt themselves to get her away from Mitchell. The accused told the jury the woman was actually keen to save the relationship after problems during the rocky holiday to Majorca. Mitchell claimed the pair had consensual sex and he left thinking they were still a couple while her flatmates were up to a 'stupid game'. He said: 'It had gone better than I thought it would. 'We made love. I was in a good mood. I was happy. I wasn't concerned about what the game was.' Under cross examination from prosecutor David Logan he accused his ex of lying about what had happened. He said: 'She had backed herself into a corner. Making me out to be some kind of baddie. She's then having to juggle these two contrasting situations.' Mitchell was cleared of verbally and physically abusing his ex. He denies raping her. The trial before Judge Graham Buchanan continues.

Scots thug with dreadlocks brutally attacked victim with baseball bat after Bob Marley jibe
Crazed Gray was heard saying 'I'm gonna cave his skull in' HORROR ASSAULT Scots thug with dreadlocks brutally attacked victim with baseball bat after Bob Marley jibe Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A THUG with dreadlocks carried out a brutal baseball bat attack on a lad celebrating his 21st birthday - after the victim called him Bob Marley. Michael Gray took offence to being named the reggae legend and went looking for revenge several hours later. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up Crazed Gray jumped out of a car as Josh Shaw walked home from a bar with his partner and viciously attacked him with the weapon, knocking him unconscious. Gray, 40, of Glenrothes, Fife, was jailed for two years today when he appeared for sentencing at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court. Depute fiscal Sarah Smith previously told the court that the victim was out with friends for his 21st birthday and was in the same pub in the town as Gray. The victim was heard asking if he had put an Oasis song on the jukebox and as the thug was leaving the premises the victim said: 'See you later Bob Marley." Gray thought it was a reference to his dreadlocks and was heard saying: 'I'm gonna cave his skull in." The two groups were later in another boozer and Gray angrily warned the victim 'he was not the type of person to have a laugh with and he did not know who he was messing with". At around 1.20am Mr Shaw and his partner left the bar and began walking home when a car pulled up next to them with Gray in the front passenger seat. Gray got out of the car holding a black metal bat, which he used to strike the victim repeatedly on the head and body. He was knocked unconscious falling to the ground with passers-by calling an ambulance. But a police car arrived on the scene shortly afterwards and took him to the hospital. Divers uncover shipwreck of Glasgow vessel almost 140 years after it vanished without trace The victim's partner managed to video part of the incident, which included Gray making death threats and a black Vauxhall Zafira then driving off. Mr Shaw required surgery a few days later on his broken jaw. He had a metal plate and screws inserted to hold it together. Mr Shaw has lost feeling in the part of his chin which was struck and has been told this will never return. He also required stitches to a cut lip. Sheriff James Williamson previously told Gray: 'This was an outrageous, unprovoked and pre-planned assault on a young man causing him significant injury.' Gray admitted repeatedly striking his victim on the head and body with a baseball bat to his severe injury and permanent impairment.

Dramatic moment drug dealer leads cops on high-speed chase through posh estate – before officers smash his windows in
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) THIS is the dramatic moment a drug dealer raced ahead of cops in a high-speed chase before being cornered by officers. Connor Darwent, 27, led police on a terrifying five-mile pursuit after speeding away from officers and making his way across a historic country estate. Police body camera footage shows the dramatic moment Darwent sped away from the police block, prompting other cops to chase after him. Despite having his tyres shredded by a police stinger, Darwent reached blistering speeds racing his BMW down the main road, in hot pursuit of officers. After breaking off from the tarmac, the drug dealer took the chase onto the historic grounds of the 17th century manor Doddington Hall. He can be seen careering down a dirt track, with cops appearing to ask if they could engage in "tactical content" before Darwent returned to the main road. Reaching the end of the rugged path, Darwent swings a hard right turn - taking him and officers into a large field of crops. Here, however, the advantage turned to the police, as the chasing officers managed to ram and immobilise the drug dealer's car, bringing them to a screeching halt. Then, the two officers can be seen quickly jumping out of their vehicles to arrest Darwent and the other male in his vehicle. They can be seen smashing in the windows of the drug dealer's car, forcing them to show their hands as backup arrives. The two officers then drag Darwent and the other man out onto the ground to be arrested. Ex-Arsenal starlet jailed over plot to smuggle £600k of cannabis into UK Following the incredible police chase on May 24, 2022, Darwent admitted conspiracy to supply class A drugs and dangerous driving. He was jailed for two-and-a-half years on Thursday, June 5. Darwent was a courier who made regular journeys between Coventry and Skegness to reload the lucrative "Abs line". Police say the drug line was worth up to £252,000 to the gang, who supplied around 5.8kg of cocaine to dealers and users. Three other members of the group were also sentenced after admitting conspiracy to supply class A drugs. Kirsty Reilly, 32, drove drugs from Coventry to Skegness and was jailed for three years. Sarah Makey, 47, received a 21-month sentence, suspended for 18 months, and was ordered to do 80 hours of unpaid work. Her husband Nathan, 48, dealt drugs and sent out marketing messages on his phone on behalf of the holder of the Abs line - Alistair Renwick. Renwick was jailed for nine years in April while Makey will be sentenced in August. Liam Tomkins, 25, was jailed for three-and-a-half years in his absence after failing to appear at court. 4 A number of drug dealers linked to the "Abs line" have been sentenced Credit: SWNS The arrests are part of a satisfying conclusion to a major operation launched by Lincolnshire Police. In an attempt to crackdown on organised crime, the police unit launched an operation to tackle eight separate drug lines that had brought crack cocaine and heroine into the county's coastal towns. More than 70 people have been arrested since the operation was launched in September 2022 - with a cumulative prison sentence of more than 120 years. Detective Inspector Will Tharby, of the Serious and Organised Crime Unit, said: "Drug dealing reaches far beyond those directly involved in the exchange of money for drugs. "Its ripple effects fuel antisocial behaviour, robbery, burglary, and violence-not just among those entrenched in the drug trade, but across entire communities. "Families, neighbours, and local businesses all feel the weight of drug-related crime, facing its disruptive and often devastating consequences. "We've dismantled a thoroughly harmful operation, taken drugs off the streets, and sent a clear message - criminal networks will not thrive in Lincolnshire's communities."
