A Smarter Way to Clean: Meet the CordZero™ A9T-LITE
At first glance, it looks like your average cordless vacuum. But once it docks itself into the All-in-One Tower™, things get interesting. With a simple click, the vacuum empties itself. No flying dust, no bin shake-outs over the trash. It's a small moment of peace in your day, and it makes all the difference.
But the CordZero™ A9T-LITE doesn't stop at convenience. It packs powerful suction thanks to its Smart Inverter Motor™, offering three cleaning modes—Standard, Power, and Turbo. Whether it's crumbs in the kitchen or pet hair buried deep in the carpet, this vacuum tackles it all. And if you're the type who forgets when to clean filters, the LCD display and LG ThinQ™ app have your back—reminding you, tracking your vacuum's performance, and even helping with diagnostics.
One of the most underrated features? The Kompressor™ technology. With the press of a lever, it compresses collected dust and hair in the bin, giving you more room to keep cleaning without having to pause and empty. Paired with a disposable dust bag system in the docking station, it keeps dirt neatly contained until you're ready to toss it—no clouds of debris, no mess.
There's also something refreshing about how intuitive it all feels. The slim and wide nozzles reach tight corners and under furniture without much effort. With tools smartly stored in the tower, you'll never go hunting for that crevice attachment again. And for anyone with allergies or a pet-heavy household, the 5-step filtration system that traps 99.99% of dust offers much-needed peace of mind.
At 2.9 kg, it's lightweight enough to lift and even clean the ceiling—yes, really. And while a vacuum may not be the most glamorous home gadget, the CordZero™ A9T-LITE makes a convincing case for itself. It's clean, clever, and one less chore on your list.
If vacuuming is a task you avoid, this may just be the upgrade that changes your mind. With LG's CordZero™, it's not just about cleaning—it's about cleaning without the chaos.

South Korea looks to address legal uncertainties posed by GenAI
The data protection watchdog for South Korea recently put forth a proposed personal data processing criteria for generative AI (genAI). The goal of these guidelines is to addressing the uncertainties in their existing personal information protection act. Personal Information Protection Commission (PIPS) chair Ko Haksoo Ko noted the guidelines aim to 'provide clarity to iron out legal uncertainties that AI practitioners have encountered and systematically incorporate privacy-safeguarding perspectives'. The proposal incorporates legal interpretation and safeguards criteria, as well as details how to develop AI privacy governance centred on a chief privacy officer, responsible for internally supervising compliance and privacy risk management. The draft criteria divides the lifecycle of genAI into four stages: purpose setting; establishing strategies; AI training and development; and application and management. It also classifies genAI models in three categories: LLM as a service, off-the-shelf LLMs and self-developed LLMs. PIPS explained the guidance was finalised following consultation with a public-private policy advisory council, providing businesses with concrete measures for making use of personal data to be trained on genAI. Earlier in the year, the commission ordered app stores to suspend downloads of DeepSeek's AI platform, sparked by concerns over the Chinese start-up's data management practices. Tron will make debut in Consensys' crypto wallet MetaMask
The Tron network will be integrated into Consensys' crypto wallet MetaMask, becoming the third major non-Ethereum-based chain to get support since MetaMask launched in 2016. On Tuesday, Tron DAO announced the strategic partnership with MetaMask, which will natively integrate the Tron blockchain into the Consensys-developed self-custodial crypto wallet. 'MetaMask's extensive user base and established reputation make it a vital gateway to decentralized applications,' said Tron DAO community spokesperson Sam Elfarra. Angel Gonzalez-Capizzi, director of business development at MetaMask, commented on Tron's strong presence in Asia, adding that the integration helps build bridges across regions and ecosystems. 'Integrating a new network into MetaMask requires careful evaluation across security, technical, and user-experience dimensions. The sequencing of integrations isn't about market cap rankings but about aligning product readiness, security reviews, and demand from our users. Tron met those thresholds at this time, which is why we moved forward,' Gonzalez-Capizzi explained to Cointelegraph. MetaMask added native support for the Solana blockchain in May with a new extension enabling users to manage Solana SPL tokens. MetaMask also supports BNB Smart Chain and Sei, with the rest of its integrations consisting of Ethereum layer-2 networks. Solana is now live on MetaMask Extension! 🦊 — 🦊 (@MetaMask) May 27, 2025 The addition of the Tron blockchain has been a long time coming, considering it is one of the top 10 blockchains by market capitalization. The partnership could also turn out to be a further positive for Tron, as MetaMask announced the launch of a self-custody crypto card in partnership with Mastercard in April, though it is only available on a limited waiting list basis at the time of writing. Tron gains traction after US election The Tron network has benefited from the crypto regulatory pivot in the United States, with ambitions to go public via a reverse merger in the US. In June, toy maker SRM Entertainment announced it would rebrand as Tron Inc. and adopt a treasury strategy centered on TRX with Tron founder Justin Sun as an adviser. Following the announcement, Eric Trump, a son of US President Donald Trump, denied involvement in Tron's public offering pursuit but said 'I'm the biggest fan of Tron,' adding that he admires Sun and considers him a 'great friend and icon in the crypto space.' Sun has been one of the biggest buyers of Trump's memecoin and attended the president's VIP gala dinner in May. 'Our decision process wasn't tied to political administrations. It was driven by product and security priorities, alongside user demand. That said, clearer regulatory signals in the U.S. are broadly constructive for the digital asset industry, which benefits all networks, including Tron, ' Gonzalez-Capizzi added. TRX continues its uptrend Tron's native token, TRX, surged 166% following the November US election, spiking to an all-time high of $0.43 in early December 2024, though the move was short-lived. The asset has been in a solid uptrend for most of this year, powering past its 2021 market cycle peak, gaining 37% year-to-date, and currently trading at $0.347, according to CoinGecko. Source:

LG PRESENTS NEW SPACE- AND ENERGY-EFFICIENT REFRIGERATOR LINEUP AT IFA 2025
LG Electronics (LG) is unveiling its latest refrigerator lineup for the European market at IFA 2025. Designed to deliver top-tier energy efficiency, the new french door and bottom-freezer models have been developed specifically for Europe's unique housing environments and consumer lifestyles, reflecting LG's extensive research into local needs and preferences. The lineup combines energy-saving performance, smart features and space-efficient styling that integrates seamlessly into modern homes. Outstanding Energy Efficiency Responding to increased demand for energy-efficient appliances across Europe, LG is introducing models that meet – and significantly surpass – the European Union's highest ('A') energy rating. The new bottom-freezer model exceeds the requirement for the A rating, while the French door model has impressively earned an A rating, despite being in a category where such ratings are rare. LG's exceptional energy efficiency was made possible by its optimized insulation design tailored for the European market, as well as AI-based features that help reduce electricity consumption by learning household usage patterns and optimizing compressor operation during periods of low activity.
