Fiery Sacramento crash results in 3 dead; driver suspected of DUI hospitalized
Sacramento Police said three people died in an early Saturday morning crash that involved a suspected drunken driver. Just before 1 a.m., officers responded to a crash involving a truck and another vehicle near Roseville Road and Connie Drive. When police arrived, they found a vehicle on fire with two people inside. Officers were unable to put out the fire, and the two occupants died at the scene. A third person was found in the roadway and is believed to have been ejected from one of the vehicles, police said. The third person was declared dead at the scene. Police have not said what vehicle the person on the roadway may have been in at the time of the crash. The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital with major injuries but is in stable condition. According to police, the driver of the truck may have been driving under the influence. Sacramento Police have not yet identified the people who died in the crash or the driver of the truck. Police have also not yet released information about how the crash happened.

Mobility scooter user, 84, critically injured in crash
An 84-year-old man is in a critical condition after being hit by a car while riding a mobility scooter. The crash happened at about 16:50 on Friday on Gartlea Road in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire. The mobility scooter was struck by a Vauxhall Mokka driven by a 43-year-old man. Emergency services attended and the pensioner was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. His condition is described as critical. Sgt Ross Allison, of Police Scotland's road policing unit said inquiries are ongoing and anyone with information should contact Police Scotland. Man killed and three hurt in three-vehicle crash
A man died and three people were hurt and taken to hospital in a crash involving three vehicles in Birmingham. West Midlands Police said they were called to the crash on Stratford Road, at its junction with Ladypool Road, just before 23:50 BST on Friday. A 22-year-old man, who was the driver of a Vauxhall which was one of the three vehicles, was taken to hospital but later died, a spokesperson for the force said.
