Apoorva Mukhija Says Uorfi Javed Abused Her On The Traitors Sets: 'Tumhari Aukaat Nahi Hai...'

Apoorva Mukhija opens up about her emotional breakdown after Uorfi Javed insulted her off-camera on The Traitors.
The Indian version of the hit reality series The Traitors made its debut on Prime Video on June 12, and it didn't take long for drama to unfold. Contestants Apoorva Mukhija and Uorfi Javed quickly went from bonding over a sisterhood pact to clashing — both on and off camera.
In the first episode, the two swore loyalty through a playful 'Behen Code'. But things turned tense when Uorfi kept asking Apoorva why she was crying. Apoorva, overwhelmed, snapped, which didn't sit well with Uorfi. She later said Apoorva wasn't on her level professionally and should show her more respect.
A few days later, on June 15, Apoorva posted a YouTube video sharing her side of the story. She revealed that off-camera, Uorfi publicly insulted her, which left her shaken. Apoorva explained that before entering the show, she had an argument with her mother and was promised three phone calls home. But when she requested to call, she was denied — leading to her emotional breakdown.
As Jannat Zubair comforted her privately, Apoorva asked her to keep it between them. When Uorfi questioned her about it, she said, 'Not everything is about you, Uorfi."
Apoorva went on to describe what happened once cameras were off. After the task ended, she said Uorfi called out to her saying, 'Bhch*d Apoorva idhar aao." Trying to stay calm, Apoorva replied, 'Aaram se", which triggered Uorfi even more.
She then shouted at Apoorva. She said, 'Tumhe pata hai tum kisse baat kar rahi ho? Main tumhare level pe hoon kya? Tumhari aukaat nahi hai mujhse baat karne ki."
Breaking down, Apoorva said, 'I was still crying… mujhe bahot zyada bezzati hui thi, yaar. This was my worst fear — someone saying that I'm just an influencer and that I don't deserve to be on the show. I already felt that way. I felt like an imposter, and I knew the audience would agree with her. I just felt so bad."
Her emotional video struck a chord with fans, many of whom are now showing support for her honesty. Meanwhile, the drama on The Traitors continues to heat up — and it's only just begun.
