MORICHES, Long Island (PIX11) — A man is under arrest and facing murder charges in connection with a woman who was found shot and killed in a car on Long Island, Suffolk County police say.
James Quininchetta, 40, was arrested Friday and charged with second-degree murder. It comes after Rebecca Roth, 33, was found in a Hyundai Elantra with a gunshot wound around 8:20 a.m. on Friday, according to authorities.

Roth's daughter found her in a parking lot outside the 33-year-old's apartment complex in Moriches and called 911, police say.
Quininchetta is awaiting arraignment however details of what may have led to the incident were not immediately available.
