Marilyn Manson paid tribute to his 'beloved friend' Ozzy Osbourne after attending the Black Sabbath frontman's funeral.
Legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne died on July 22 at the age of 76, sparking a flood of condolences from music greats worldwide. Among them, Marilyn Manson paid homage to his late friend and inspiration with a very personal and heartfelt note. The artist, 56, shared a tribute on social media following the burial of his 'beloved friend" on Thursday near the lake where he lives in Buckinghamshire.
Describing his bond with the late rocker, Manson wrote in his Instagram Story, 'Today we laid to rest a beloved friend. I am eternally grateful that you let me into your life Ozzy. Your inspiration and love will always be with me."
'Thank you Sharon and family for a reverent and beautiful ceremony. Your legacy lives on," he concluded. Manson shared the same tribute on his X handle as well.

More than 100 close family members and legendary figures from the music industry attended Osbourne's funeral on July 30. These included Sharon Osbourne and her children, Kelly, Jack, Aimee and Louis; Black Sabbath bandmates Geezer Butler, Tony Iommi and Bill Ward; and musicians Rob Zombie, Rob Zombie, Elton John, James Hetfield and Corey Taylor (Slipknot), the New York Post reported.
'Everyone at the service wanted to help Sharon and the children. It has been an awful time," a source told the outlet. The insider added, 'It was a very fitting goodbye—toasts were raised, memories were shared. There was a stage where Yungblud, who became close to Ozzy in recent years, was scheduled to honour him."
The funeral was attended by Sir Elton John, members of Metallica and Manson's wife, Lindsay Usich. The guests were dressed in gothic and heavy metal-themed apparel. It was held at Ozzy's house, and in accordance with his desires for a private, quiet funeral, he was buried next to a lake on the grounds.
The day before, a local brass band played 'Iron Man" in remembrance of Ozzy Osbourne, and fans gathered at iconic locations like the Black Sabbath bridge on Broad Street in Birmingham.
Manson had long been an Osbourne supporter. In 2002, he attended the dedication ceremony of Black Sabbath's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2006, the two co-presented at the Scream Awards on Spike TV. Manson appeared on camera during Black Sabbath's farewell performance of Back to the Beginning on July 5.

He had been absconding for nine years by frequently changing his identity and location. During his time on the run, Singh gained popularity as a singer on social media platforms like YouTube and Instagram, amassing millions of views under a different identity. The Chandigarh unit of the NCB apprehended Singh, a resident of Sirsa in Haryana, who was wanted in NCB CZU Crime No. 14/2015 involving the seizure of 36.15 kg of opium. In May, the NCB published his details in leading newspapers and announced a reward of Rs 50,000 for information leading to his arrest. Based on credible inputs received thereafter, the NCB team successfully apprehended him on August 6. This arrest marks a significant success in the NCB's ongoing efforts against drug trafficking and its associated networks. NCB officials are now investigating to uncover any possible links between Singh's music career and his drug trafficking operations.
