Mother's Day Gift Guide 2025: Delicious Ways To Treat Her To A Long-Distance Meal
On Mother's Day, it's important to show mother figures in our lives they are cherished. This may include gifts or flowers and a special dinner date.
Festive place setting for Mother's day
But if they live far away and restaurant reservations are not part of the equation this year, there's some delicious ways to treat her to a fabulous long-distance meal that is delivered right to her front door. No reservations required!
Zabar's Brunch for Mom Gift Crate
Anyone who has ever visited New York City familiar with Zabar's, and for any mom who is from the city or is wistful about a visit, the Brunch for Mom Gift Crate ($209), is the next best thing. This selection of treats Zabar's is known for, like their babka in an updated raspberry flavor, fancy chocolates, New York-style bagels, as well as, of course, Smoked Nova Lox, homemade whitefish salad, and cream cheese. Everything necessary for a perfect Mother's Day brunch, no effort required. For anyone who wants to get a bit fancier, there's also an option to upgrade the kit to include caviar.
Giadzy Cacio e Pepe Pasta Box
This is one of the most classic of Roman dishes, but short of taking her on a weekend trip to Italy, it may be hard to do it justice at home. But this all-in-one kit (starts at $51) includes everything needed to make just as it's meant to be enjoyed: Organic Bucatini, super high-quality Parmigiano Reggiano and Pecorino Romano, 4 Pepper-Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and Giada's personal recipe for pulling it altogether.
Peter Luger Dry-Aged Strip Steaks
One of the most famous steakhouses in the country, this would be an incredible date night on any occasion – but if she does not live near one, shipping her some of their legendary steaks is the next best thing. In fact, it may be better because she can enjoy them in the comfort of her own home. This package of four dry-aged strip steaks ($362) also comes with steak sauce, optional added extra thick bacon, and detailed prep instructions so she can make a perfect steak dinner just as she enjoys it when the desire hits (which would probably be always.)
FultonFishMarket.com Classic Surf & Turf Bundle
Surf & Turf is as elegant as a dinner can get, and this gift set ($281) includes prime filet mignon and sustainably hand-harvested cold water lobster tails from Maine. It'll be a beautiful high-end meal – that she can enjoy in her pajamas!
Citarella Oyster Flight
Freshly shucked oysters with a chilled martini are one of life's greatest pleasures, but the experience is not always easy to come by. This oyster flight ($99)includes Wellfleet, Kumamoto, Lucky Lime, and Fisher's Island oysters that are all freshly shucked (they did the hard part for you!) and paired with lemons, mignonette and cocktail sauce.
Goode Company Classic Mesquite Smoked Brisket
There's nothing like Texas BBQ, and when the craving hits, only that will do. Houston-based Goode Company has a Classic Mesquite Smoked Brisket ($215) in its online shop, and it's freshly made in their BBQ pits before being shipped to her door. Whether she hails from Texas or just loves a beautiful cut of meat, this can be the makings of a beautiful Mother's Day meal to give this year.
Wild Alaskan Company Alaskan Snow Crab Seafood Boil Kit
The Wild Alaskan Company Alaskan Snow Crab Seafood Boil Kit ($189 for Wild Alaskan members and $239 for non-members) is for the mom who takes her seafood very seriously and includes snow crab legs and claws, sidestriped shrimp or spot prawns (depending on location) and Pacific halibut quick cuts.
Pat LaFrieda Dry-Aged Burgers Gift Set
These burgers are from a world-famous butcher and are no joke – they are the same ones used at many household-name restaurants, and if she loves a great burger, these can be delivered right to her house and be waiting in her freezer next time the craving hits. The set of two prime aged beef patties starts at $16.58 and is a blend of chuck, brisket, short-rib, and 30-50 day dry-aged prime rib. From there, all she has to do is create her perfect build.
Grandma's Chicken Soup Care Package
This company is one that's going to pull on the heart strings of many a family, especially one that harkens back to the classic moments having homemade meals in Grandma's kitchen. This is a small, family-run business based in Massachusetts, and offers a variety of heat-and-eat meals that would work for an at-home Mother's Day dinner. Build a package (price will vary depending on what you add) that may include chicken soup (with or without matzo balls), challah, knishes, and other comfort foods and it'll be like a trip back in time to Friday night dinner at Grandma's – without having to take a trip to the kitchen!
Zucker's Mother's Day Bagel Brunch for 6
Zucker's is another New York City spot known for having some of the best bagels and appetizing around, and their bagel brunch gift set ($110) serves as a greatest hits box sent right to your mom's door, including a variety of bagels, schmears, Nova lox, and so much more.
Omaha Steaks Mother's Day Surf & Turf
Another great spin on the Surf & Turf concept, this one ($150) includes Butcher's Cut Filet Mignons and Wild Argentinian Red Shrimp along with a bunch of fun sides like stuffed baked potatoes and dessert options for a complete dinner with a whole lot going on – all in the comfort of home.
Caroline's Brisket Taco Party
A really fun option for when Mother's Day brunch meets Taco Tuesday, this kit ($70) has everything needed for a brisket taco gathering. This includes savory chopped beef brisket, cole slaw, rice, queso fresco, tortillas, sauces, and even dessert.

Over 300 Pieces of Princess Diana's Dresses, Handbags, and More Are Heading to Auction
There have been many Princess Diana-related auctions held over the years—Lady Di herself auctioned off than 79 of her dresses at Christie's in 1997, in fact—but the sale taking place at Julien's Auction later this month may be the biggest yet. The auction house claims the event will include the largest collection of the late royal's fashion to ever go under the hammer. Taking place at the Peninsula Beverly Hills on June 26, Princess Diana's Style & A Royal Collection will spotlight more than 300 extraordinary items of royal provenance. Included in the lots are some of the most memorable dresses, suits, and accessories ever worn by the Princess of Wales—many of which have never before appeared at auction, according to Julien's. More from Robb Report From Pappy Van Winkle to Macallan: An Epic Single-Owner Whiskey Collection Is Heading to Auction Art Dealer Barbara Gladstone's Elegant Manhattan Row House Lists for $12 Million Airstream's Newest Luxury Trailer Feels Like a Frank Lloyd Wright Home Inside Diana became a style icon soon after being thrust into the spotlight in the 1980s due to her high-profile relationship with Prince Charles. Her fashion evolved from modest and traditional to elegant and bold as she navigated her life in the public eye. She worked with many different designers, as illustrated by the diverse pieces on offer at Julien's. One of the auction highlights is a silk floral day dress designed by Belville Sassoon (pictured top). Expected to fetch between $100,000 and $200,000, the frock was a staple in Diana's wardrobe and was donned for many official visits and public appearances. It was actually dubbed the Caring Dress, as the princess often wore it to see patients in hospitals, according to designer David Sassoon. Another standout is a custom cream evening gown that Catherine Walker designed for Diana for her 1986 royal tour of Saudi Arabia. The elegant gown, which is expected to hammer down for between $200,000 and $300,000, features a high neckline and long Guinevere-style point sleeves to accommodate local dressing customs. At the other, more daring end of the spectrum is a two-piece Bruce Oldfield set that Lady Di wore to Royal Ascot in 1987. Oldfield began designing for the princess in the mid-1980s with more daring fashions, leading the press to dub her 'Dynasty-Di.' This silk ensemble carries a pre-sale estimate of $100,000 to $200,000. Accessories will abound at the auction, too. Highlights include Lady Di's stylish John Boyd hat (estimate: $20,000 to $40,000) and her coveted Lady Dior lambskin handbag (estimate: $20,000 to $30,000). That is just a taste of 300 rarities on offer. 'Princess Diana's legacy lives on not only through her humanitarian work but also in the timeless elegance of her style, which continues to inspire the world,' Martin Nolan, cofounder and executive director of Julien's Auctions, said in a statement. 'This unprecedented collection offers collectors and admirers a rare opportunity to own a piece of royal history and pay tribute to one of the most beloved figures of our time.' In keeping with Diana's philanthropic spirit, a portion of the proceeds from the auction will benefit Muscular Dystrophy UK. Bidding and registration are now open online. The live auction will take place in the Peninsula's Verandah Ballroom, with guests served Champagne and the hotel's signature afternoon tea, naturally. Click to see photos of the key auction lots. Giambattista Valli Resort 2026 Collection
Morocco is woven into Giambattista Valli's language 'as an obsession,' he said. For resort, Marrakesh's influence descended from the heights of last season's couture, reinterpreted in a breezier, more laidback register. Think a palette of spicy reds and saffrons, and printed profusions of roses and bougainvilleas as if plucked straight from a garden. Steeped in the kind of jet-set wanderlust he excels at, the collection offered (momentary) escapism with its feet (lightly) planted. Said Valli: 'Who could fault the longing for a breath of beauty in a world that feels increasingly harsh?' Valli has always been a believer in the power of grace, and in beauty rooted not in trends but in personal conviction. For him, style is less about chasing the moment and more about embodying something timeless. 'People are afraid of the idea of classic, harmonious beauty—they think it's uncool, dusty, passé,' he observed with a shrug. But he's rather unbothered by fashion's fleeting flirtations, and remains steadfast in his vision. This collection is a case in point, striking a balance between romance and realism. Long, fluid dresses had beautifully draped bodices; lace slip dresses were edged with delicate capelet sleeves; and boho flounced frocks floated with asymmetrical whimsy. Interwoven with these billowy silhouettes were svelte minidresses and tailored short suits rendered in light fabrics, anchored by embroidered babouches and crocheted tarbooshes, lending just a dash of eccentric charm. It was Valli making the case for chic pragmatism, unafraid to mix the dreamy with the grounded.

The Strip's Biggest Food Hall Just Opened — Here's What to Eat
A new food hall has opened on the Las Vegas Strip — the latest in a citywide boom of food halls that bring together local favorites, national chains, and celebrity chef brands under one roof. And Via Via, which debuted Monday, June 9 at the Venetian Resort, might just be the city's most exciting one yet. While some Las Vegas casinos have traded buffets for brand-new food halls, Via Via took a different approach — transforming its existing food court by swapping out familiar mall staples like Bonanno's and Fatburger for buzzy, sought-after restaurants from across the country. One standout is Howlin' Ray's, the cult-favorite Los Angeles spot known for its Nashville-style hot chicken. Its fans once lined up for hours to get fried chicken sandwiches, and even nine years after opening its first location in LA's Chinatown, lines are still a common sight on weekends. James Beard Award nominee and New York Times best-selling author Mason Hereford is bringing a double dose of New Orleans flavor to the Las Vegas Strip. His cult-favorite spots, Turkey and the Wolf and Molly's Rise and Shine, are now slinging sandwiches and breakfast hits at Via Via. Turkey and the Wolf, the sandwich slinger that Bon Appétit crowned America's Best New Restaurant in 2017, is known for its offbeat menu — think double-decker collard green sandwiches and chicken pot pie-stuffed empanadas with tarragon buttermilk. Right next door, Hereford's Magazine Street breakfast spot, Molly's Rise and Shine, serves up playful takes on the morning classics, like a Grand Slam McMuffin stacked with sausage patties, American cheese, grilled onions, and house-made English muffins. Also at Via Via, acclaimed New York noodle spot Ivan Ramen serves some of the city's most enjoyable noodles on the Las Vegas Strip — a critic once declared its ramen 'so good it will make your eyes explode.' But the menu goes well beyond ramen, offering a lineup of inventive, izakaya-style small plates like asparagus with miso nuta and stracciatella, spicy pickles, and wagyu pastrami buns. Some may remember chef Ray Garcia, the talent behind ¡Viva! at Resorts World, and his B.S. Taqueria from its stint at the short-lived Sundry food hall in southwest Las Vegas, where it served tacos, small bites, and a deep tequila list that rivaled full-service bars. Now, the concept returns with a fresh take at Via Via. On the menu are dishes like chile-rubbed al pastor, wood-fire grilled cauliflower, and house-made chorizo, all tucked into freshly pressed heirloom corn tortillas. The Lower East Side's Scarr's Pizza has been serving pies for nearly a decade, but even its newest location drew lines around the block when it opened in 2023. Owner Scarr Pimentel grinds his own flour in-house to create the ideal foundation for a simple, perfect slice of cheese 'za. All'Antico Vinaio, the legendary sandwich shop from Florence known for its round-the-block lines, square-cut schiacciata bread, and towering stacks of cured meats and cheeses, opened its second Las Vegas location at the food hall. The first outpost debuted at UnCommons last year. Lastly, the hospitality group behind Death & Co. — the influential cocktail bar that helped define the modern cocktail renaissance — is bringing its latest concept to Las Vegas. Close Company, which debuted in Nashville just a couple of weeks ago, offers the same high-caliber cocktails as its predecessor but in a more relaxed, neighborhood-style setting. It marks the first Las Vegas venture for Gin & Luck, the team behind Death & Co. locations in New York, Los Angeles, Denver, Washington, D.C., and Seattle. Via Via is the latest addition to Las Vegas's ongoing food hall boom. At the Miracle Mile Shops inside Planet Hollywood, Tacotarian recently opened inside the new Miracle Eats food court, which is slowly filling out with other vendors like Irv's Burgers and Fat Sal's. Like the Venetian, Caesars Palace also gave its food court a glow-up, replacing its functional but forgettable stalls with celebrity names like Bobby's Burgers by Bobby Flay and Guy Fieri's Chicken Guy. Off-Strip, the short-lived Sundry, which famously closed exactly one year after opening last June, is being replaced by a popular Hawaiian food hall focused on Asian street food. And newcomer H-Mart has brought its own built-in food hall packed with Korean and other Asian favorites. Via Via follows in the footsteps of Proper Eats at Aria, bringing together talent that already draws crowds in cities across the U.S. With names like Howlin' Ray's, Ivan Ramen, Turkey and the Wolf, and Death & Co. — and menus this stacked — Via Via isn't just a food hall; it's a cheat sheet for what's hot in American dining right now.
