A Michael Jackson tribute artist is set to perform in Carlisle.
CJ, the star of the show "Man in the Mirror," will be at The Old Fire Station on Sunday, December 28.
The social media sensation has been perfecting his tribute to the King of Pop since he was four years old.
He said: "I've loved Michael Jackson for as long as I can remember.
"I was about four years old when I saw one of his concerts on TV and I was just blown away.
"From that moment on, I was obsessed - copying his dance moves, singing his songs, trying to do everything just like he did.
"When I got a bit older, around 20, I realised I could actually turn this into a career.
"I'd spent so many years practising and performing that it felt natural.
"For me, it's not just about looking or sounding like him - it's about capturing the feeling he gave people.
"That's what I try to bring to the stage every night."
CJ's dedication has paid off, with a recent backstage video of him singing Billie Jean a cappella racking up over 12 million views and more than half a million likes across TikTok and Facebook.
Fans flooded the comments, calling him "the closest to MJ I've ever seen" and saying "if you closed your eyes you would have thought it was Michael Jackson."
The "Man in the Mirror" show is a full-scale tribute concert that aims to recreate one of Michael Jackson's iconic live shows with precision.
Backed by a live band, dancers, and light and video production, the show pays tribute to MJ's legendary style, with costumes and choreography that mirror his most memorable music video moments.
CJ said: "It's not just about imitating Michael's moves or singing his songs.
"It's about embodying his spirit and bringing his essence to the stage.
"I believe Man in the Mirror gives people the most authentic tribute to his live performances.
"Just a little taste of what it might have been like to see him in concert."
