The Los Angeles Dodgers are strengthening their pitching staff as the defending World Series champs have acquired former All-Star relief pitcher Alexis Diaz from the Cincinnati Reds. This is Diaz's fourth season in Major League Baseball, and he has spent his entire career with the Reds. He was an All-Star back in 2023.

'Dodgers are acquiring reliever Alexis Díaz from the Reds, source confirms,' Fabian Ardaya said in a post.
The Reds will get Mike Villani in exchange. Villani was a 13th round draft pick in the 2024 MLB Draft.
'Mike Villani, a 13th round pick in the 2024 draft is going to Cincinnati,' B/R Walk-Off said in a post.
Alexis Diaz has had three solid seasons so far in his career, but this year has not gone to plan. His first year in the league was incredibly impressive as he pitched 63.2 innings and posted a 1.84 ERA. The next season was Diaz's All-Star year as he ended up pitching 67.1 innings, and he finished with a 3.07 ERA.

This season has not been kind to Diaz. He has appeared in six games and has pitched six innings. He has given up eight runs on eight hits, and he has walked more batters than he has struck out. On May 1st, the Reds sent him down to the minor leagues.
If the Dodgers can figure out how to get the old Diaz back, that would be huge. Los Angeles was expected to be the best team in baseball year as they are loaded with talent, and they are meeting expectations so far with a 34-22 record. Still, Los Angeles could use some more arms in the bullpen to sure things up.
Alexis Diaz has been struggling mightily to start the season, but it's way too early to give up on him. He has had three successful years in the pros before this, so there's no reason to think that the Dodgers can't get him fixed.

One of Taylor Swift's BFF's Sisters Said Something Saucy to Encourage Travis Kelce Romance

Taylor Swift's relationship with Travis Kelce all started with a tarot reading, and a rather saucy comment. Gigi Hadid's older sister, Marielle Hadid, revealed on the Nice Girls Don't Win podcast that she encouraged Swift to date Kelce, even for 'a good lay,' and it was all thanks to a tarot reading session. More from SheKnows Taylor Swift Has a New Actress in Her Inner Circle Amid Blake Lively Feud 'I did pull a card for her because I had seen something where [Travis] had said that he wanted to date her,' she said, telling Swift she 'should date' Kelce. 'So, I told Gigi and I told her, I was like, 'Come on, even if it's just for fun. So, I pulled this card for her, and I don't exactly remember which deck it was, but I remember that it was in regards to this, and the word 'swiftly' was in the reading,' she recounted. 'So, I take all responsibility for [the relationship]! I was like, 'Come on.' … She deserves it.' As many know, Gigi and Swift have been pals since 2015. However, they first met the year prior, in March 2014, at the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscar Party. And Swift once gushed about Hadid in a 2017 Harper's Bazaar profile. 'As a friend, Gigi is one of the first people I go to for advice. She has this incredible ability to see all sides of a situation and simplify it for you, to see the complexity of people,' Swift said. 'Gigi's #1 rule is to treat people the way she'd want to be treated, so she's on time (or early) to work, says hello to everyone on set, asks them how they are, and actually listens to their response.' But what about Bella, Alana, Anwar, or Marielle? Or Gigi and Bella's half sister Aydan Nix? Well, Bella isn't a part of Swift's squad, and it just seems like more of an acquaintance relationship. It's unclear if Swift has any relationship at all with Alana, Anwar, and Nix. However, Marielle definitely has a bond with Swift. Along with this moment in their friendship, Marielle joined Gigi on Swift's private jet to attend an Eras Tour concert in Santa Clara, California back in 2023, so there's definitely a bond there! For those who don't know, Kelce and Swift have been dating since July 2023, but didn't make their romance known until months later, when Swift arrived at one of his games. (Kelce even talked about his crush on her on his podcast with his brother months prior to her going to one of his games.) Back in Jan 2024, Kelce spoke on the Pat McAfee Show via Today about Swift, saying, 'We just have fun with it. We enjoy every single bit of it. I love it when Taylor comes and supports me and enjoys the game with the fam and friends. But it's been nothing but just a wonderful year.'Best of SheKnows Elizabeth Hurley & Billy Ray Cyrus, & More of the Best Red Carpet Debuts From Celebrity Couples Over the Years Yoko Ono's Daughter Kyoko, & 22 Surprising Celebrities That Were In or Linked to a Cult 7 Ways Chrissy Teigen Has Altered Her Appearance Over the Years: Plastic Surgery & More

Toyota Goes Rogue (And Rugged) With Its Latest Electric Adventure

Toyota's been treating the EV game like a chore—slow, reluctant, and a little grumpy, like a teen dodging trash duty. But something's shifted. With the all-electric 2026 bZ Woodland, they're not just showing up—they're strapping on the hiking boots and heading off-road with surprising swagger. Turns out, when Toyota finally gets moving, they know exactly how to do electric adventure right. Yep, it's electric. Yep, it's an SUV. And for once, Toyota didn't play it safe—they gave the bZ Woodland 375 horses, standard all-wheel drive, and torque that might make the Subaru Trailseeker question its purpose. This thing doesn't just plug in—it shows up, takes off, and tows 3,500 pounds of whatever you're brave enough to drag through the wilderness. All without spilling your oat milk latte. You'll get about 260 miles of range if conditions are just right. No, it won't rival a Rivian in a coast-to-coast clout chase—but it'll get you from L.A. to Big Bear without begging for volts behind a roadside diner. And yes, it's finally joined the cool crowd with a NACS port. That means charging at Tesla stations—30 minutes and you're good, assuming the universe is feeling generous. Now, let's talk vibes. The bZ Woodland looks like the bZ4X went full REI, hit the trails, and came back calling everyone 'dude.' It's longer, a bit taller, and wears black overfenders like a badge of honor. With over 30 cubic feet of cargo space, you've got room for a tent, your dog, and whatever social media says counts as an 'authentic outdoor experience' this week. Inside, it's classic Toyota—no gimmicks, no nonsense, just clean, comfy functionality. It feels familiar in the best way. You've got heated SofTex seats, a massive 14-inch touchscreen, and ambient lighting that turns your night drives into low-key synthwave concerts. Go for the Premium Package, and things get extra: JBL sound, a glass roof, ventilated seats, and front radiant heaters—basically moon-base luxury, minus the spacesuit. Yeah, Toyota showed up late to the EV party. But they rolled in with a bottle of bourbon, a Bluetooth speaker, and some surprisingly solid trail cred. The bZ Woodland isn't some EV revolution—but it is a sign that Toyota's finally leaning in. It's built to be driven, not just displayed: practical, punchy, and totally down for a dusty detour.
