Dunelm shoppers say 'it's easy to fall asleep' in £50 garden chair set
When the rain does clear up, Brits will want to take full advantage of the summer weather and enjoy some time in the garden. For some, relaxing in the sunshine is their idea of a perfect day - but you need some suitable chairs.
Most people likely bought items at the beginning of the season to make the most of the recent heatwaves. But, if people didn't - or simply need to revamp their existing seats, then Dunelm has a reduction on a set of "vibrant" colourful loungers that offer "optimal comfort."
The Helsinki Loungers are available in twin bundles for £48.50, down from £69, in a deal that makes each seat cost just over £24. The set of two deal comes in two colours that aren't available if buying the same style of chair separately: navy blue and lilypad green.
Dunelm claims that these low-maintenance loungers"redefine outdoor comfort" with adjustable backrests allowing for personalised reclining positions. Made with durable materials designed to withstand outdoor conditions, these loungers "promise longevity without compromising on style or comfort," Dunelm adds.
There are alternatives for anyone looking for a quick solution to garden seating - such as the Folding Metal Zero Gravity Sun Lounger (Argos, £45) or the Colorado Grey Metal Sun Lounger (B&Q, £35 down from £50). However, hundreds of shoppers posted glowing reviews online after ordering the Dunelm garden set.
One said: "Lovely comfy reclining chairs, I actually fell asleep in them!" Another added: "Great value and lovely colour. Sturdy, easy to assemble and store. Very comfy to sit in too!"
A third wrote: "Sturdy, easy to set up and super comfy. Perfect colour to go with our garden décor too (true to ad pictures), and they don't take a ton of space when folded away in the garage. At that price for a pair, you can't go wrong with these!"
A few had some issues, though, as one claimed: "The cords that hold the seats to the frame are fraying heavily and have broken in several places. They are now unusable." And, another suggested: "Very comfortable chairs although a little fiddly to open."
Someone else put: "The knobs that make them recline are plastic and so seem a bit fragile so not sure how long they will last. Also one of the chairs seems to very slowly go back to upright position, so have to keep adjusting it."
However, the majority of feedback was positive. A satisfied shopper who awarded five stars in their review put: "Love these loungers - easy to fold and unfold, very comfortable. The green goes beautifully in my garden."
One more posted: "Great design and very sturdy. Easy to use and move around the garden." And, another wrote: "The loungers are great, they are exactly the colour I wanted, comfortable and easy to use and no self assembly required and a great price."

'Lovely' £60 Argos decor with 'country style' adds 'cosy vibe' to any home
The decor wowed social media users when a pleased shopper compared it to a pricier lookalike Argos has caught the attention of shoppers with a 'gorgeous' side table that has been compared to a more expensive version. Fans are raving over the £60 Argos Home Ambrose Side Table, which has been compared to Neptune's £395 Edinburgh Square Side Table. Blogger Sophie Higgs praised the 'high-end' Argos style on social media. Posting on Instagram as @home_by_the_cloud, Sophie recommended Argos' table as a cheaper alternative to the Neptune lookalike. She wrote: "Wow, Argos and Habitat are absolutely killing it at the moment. There are so many Neptune home [alternative]. I'm obsessed with the side table; it looks so high-end. For £60, a very similar one in Neptune is nearly £400!" Sophie continued: "How gorgeous is the rattan lamp for £35?! I love the cushion too, the only difference is the frills, which I actually prefer and it looks so pretty And I can't not mention that beautiful ribbed glass and antique brass ceiling light for £32! I've wanted to replace that chandelier for so long and it would look so good there." Her video proved to be very popular, racking up thousands of likes. Someone replied: "Oh wow love the side table." A second response said: "How lovely are these." A third fan added: "That table is lush." More praise read: "Love everything." Someone else thought: "Gorgeous," and a fan agreed: "Amazing finds! I bloody love that side table!" While the two designs share similarities, it's worth noting that they also have differences. The Argos table is made from solid wood, but the type is not specified; meanwhile, the Neptune table is made from solid oak. However, the general information for the Argos table does state that "by choosing FSC certified products, you are supporting responsible management of the world's forests." The product description for the Argos table continues: "One table, two levels. The Ambrose side table keeps you organised without sacrificing style. Crafted from solid wood with a soft painted finish, it brings a cosy country-inspired vibe to any room. Pop books and remotes on the lower shelf, stash snacks and drinks on the top. Ready for that marathon box set session?" The product description for the Neptune table states: "Edinburgh celebrates the natural beauty and strength of solid oak. This square side table features stately ring-turned column supports which terminate on plinths for a striking look. Use it beside a sofa or armchair, displaying a lamp on top and stacking books and magazines on the undershelf." There are plenty of alternative styles for shoppers keen to shop around. Customers might prefer Next's £60 Natural Bronx Oak Effect Storage Stool, which has received positive reviews, or Marks and Spencer's £143.20 Sonoma Side Table, which is currently on sale. Shoppers looking for two tables might also like Dunelm's £89 Olney Nest of Tables with Storage. At the time of writing, neither the Argos table nor the Neptune table has received reviews. Nonetheless, the retailers are both on Trustpilot, which could be helpful if shoppers wish to read feedback before making a purchase, reports the Mirror. Argos has a 4.1 rating, meaning it is ranked as 'great'. One positive response said: "Argos always provides excellent service. Ordering is clear and easy to do online and I can check availability. Delivery is quick and efficient." However, another comment claimed: "Delivery was lost and it took 10 days to sort out, I had to chase Argos and the delivery firm who didn't appear to see the urgency in tracking down the lost order. I won't ever use a home delivery from them again." Neptune has a 4.7 rating, meaning it is ranked as 'excellent'. A pleased shopper commented: "Exceptional service received today by Alfi & Josh who delivered our furniture. They were extremely helpful unpacking and taking away the packaging. Premium service! Thank you! Plus delighted with our chairs." However, a different reply claimed: "Lovely furniture, just a shame the customer service is lacking. The team in store were great although delays in delivery were poorly communicated and there seem to be multiple systems across the business that don't talk to each other meaning lots of inconsistent messaging throughout our customer journey."
