Israeli War Crime: Child Killed in Gaza by Israeli Drone Strike

✍️ Edited by Hany Hassapo A New Tragedy in Gaza Heartbreaking footage documented the moment an Israeli reconnaissance drone fired a missile at a Palestinian child while she was filling water in the Jabalia area, northern Gaza Strip. The attack instantly killed the girl, who was only trying to bring water back to her family amid hunger and thirst. Details of the Incident The video, aired by Al Jazeera, showed the child moments before she was directly targeted by the drone. Journalist Moamen al-Sharafi confirmed that the girl had been suffering from severe deprivation when the Israeli strike ended her life. He stressed that this crime represents only a fraction of the massacres being committed daily against civilians in Gaza. Civilian Lives Under Fire Al-Sharafi further revealed that earlier, in Gaza's Shuja'iyya neighborhood, young men attempting to recover the body of their brother were also targeted by an Israeli drone and killed instantly. In June, Al Jazeera documented another case in the same neighborhood, where a Palestinian carrying a sack of flour on his back was directly bombed by a drone. The man was killed on the spot, his body left lying next to the bag of flour — a grim image of life under siege. Cameras Expose War Crimes These harrowing images confirm that Israeli attacks are deliberately targeting civilians, and the few documented moments are only a glimpse of the daily crimes occurring away from the world's eyes.

Over 42,000 Pro-Palestine Protests in Europe During 675 Days of Gaza Genocide

✍️ Written by Mohamed El-Sayed Rashid Unprecedented European Solidarity The European Palestinian Media Center (EPAL) reported that Europe has witnessed nearly 42,000 demonstrations and solidarity events in support of the Palestinian cause during 675 days of Israeli genocide in Gaza, starting from October 7, 2023. These events took place in over 700 cities across 20 European countries, with participation from various nationalities, political parties, and members of parliament — all denouncing Israel's genocidal campaign. Shaping European Discourse EPAL highlighted that these mass protests have had a substantial impact on European public opinion and politics, fostering Israel's cultural and academic isolation and boosting support for the Palestinian narrative over the long-dominant Israeli one. Maher Hijazi, a board member of EPAL, explained that the center documents these events through a network of reporters, collaborators, and volunteers, and also shares them live via its media platforms. Europe's Voice Against Genocide Hijazi affirmed that 'these thundering voices across Europe' reflect powerful solidarity with the people of Gaza, urging European governments to exert real pressure on Israel to end the war and permit humanitarian aid. Protest slogans commonly denounce the starvation of Gaza, condemn Israeli obstruction of aid, and expose the so-called 'death traps' set up at aid distribution points. Increasing Awareness Within Europe According to EPAL, the sheer number of events has stirred rising awareness across European societies. Many now demand that their governments hold Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu — currently wanted by the International Court of Justice — accountable, push for an end to the conflict, and allow humanitarian access. Recent rallies have also strongly condemned the killings of journalists in Gaza, notably the assassinations of Al Jazeera reporters Anas al-Sharif and Mohammed Qreiqa. About EPAL The European Palestinian Media Center (EPAL) is an organization founded by Palestinian journalists and media professionals based in Europe. It aims to present the Palestinian cause to the European public through its humanitarian, cultural, and legal dimensions. EPAL achieves this via media content production and live coverage of pro-Palestine events across the continent.
