Two men have been charged with wildlife offences after a the body of a boar was found in the Forest of Dean on New Year's Eve.David Stanbury, 53, of Denstead Lane in Chartham Hatch, Kent, has been charged with hunting a wild mammal with dogs, causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal, namely a dog, and three counts of possession of a bladed article.Thomas Bishop, 33, of Grove Close in Pontefract, West Yorkshire, has been charged with hunting a wild mammal with dogs.The charges relate to an incident which took place on a forest track at around 02:00 on 31 December. The pair are due to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on 29 July.
