Fortnite returns to iOS after 5 years
Perhaps the biggest headline of this update is Fortnite's return to iOS in the United States. The game had been off the platform since Chapter 2 due to legal disputes, but is now back and already topping the App Store charts.
With this return, mobile gamers can finally access Rocket Racing, Battle Royale, Festival mode, and even the LEGO collaboration - all from their Apple devices. However, fans in Canada are still waiting for their turn.
The mobile version comes loaded with updated features, and Epic Games revealed staggering growth stats: over 1,400 skins, 800+ emotes, and more than 1,200 pickaxes have been introduced since Fortnite's initial removal from iOS.

The latest in-game content is heavily inspired by The Mandalorian. Players can now purchase the customizable Mandalorian Warrior Outfit for 1,800 V-Bucks, or go all-in with the Champions of Mandalore bundle for 2,500 V-Bucks. This includes new pickaxes, back bling, and two emotes - all tied to the Star Wars universe.
Gameplay-wise, the Amban Sniper Rifle and Mandalorian Jetpack have returned, and players can now recruit AI Mandalorian companions - including Scout, Heavy, Medic, and Supply types - each with unique battlefield roles.
