Fans of Katy Perry have uncovered possible signs she channeled her engagement breakdown into her latest album - suggesting her romance with Orlando Bloom could have been all but over last year. The 40--year-old American singer had been engaged to 48-year-old Bloom since 2016.
The couple also welcomed a daughter named Daisy together - with the bundle of joy arriving in August 2020. However, reports this year suggested the couple have called time on their romance - and may have gone their separate ways weeks ago.
Now fans have been examining the lyrics of songs featured on Katy's 2024 album 143 - including the break up song Truth. The lyrics of the track hint at a relationship ruined by disloyalty.
Lyrics include: "I wanna know the truth / Even if it hurts me. I got a vision keepin' me up at night / My intuition's tellin' me things ain't right.
"Can't look in the mirror, what is it you're tryna hide? / Can't give me your password to your phone, not start a fight / You're treating me different, tell me what's going through your mind?"
Fans have been re-examining the lyrics of the songs she released in 2024
Katy's YouTube page has been buzzing with speculation as fans have been investigating the lyrics of the track. Taking to the comments of a video relating to the track Truth, one fan wrote: "Who's here after the breakup rumors?"
Another typed: "So is this song about Orlando?" And a third commented: "Did he do something? Cause even back then I did think this song is so odd to be in a full love album."
Earlier this month it was suggested Katy and Orlando had called time on their engagement and decided to split up. An insider claimed Katy's album 143 flopping impacted her relationship, with the source noting: "Orlando was supportive, but it caused some tension."

PageSix reported that the couple are waiting until her current tour, Lifetimes, concludes on December 7, before making their split public news. And since these reports emerged, Orlando has been spotted flirting with women at the wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez - which took place in Italy over the weekend.
On Saturday, Katy shared a cryptic social media post that appeared to hint at her state of mind amid the reports of her relationship collapsing.
Katy reposted a video from a digital guru who uses "the laws of the universe" to transform lives, suggesting that mastering these laws can "heal" one's life. In the shared clip, the guru stated, "The phase of the moon that was during your date of birth determines your purpose."
Katy shared the video without adding any personal commentary, leaving fans to wonder if she was hinting at her own life's purpose. The video explained that those born during a Waning Crescent moon phase are here to "If you were born on a Waning Crescent, you are here to complete the mission that you feel. You are closing chapters no longer beneficial to the collective. You are laying groundwork for new beginnings. Your role is to be a savior to others."
The singer also updated her fans with clips from her live performances, including a compilation from The Lifetimes Tour, showcasing her energetic stage presence. As she continues her international tour in Australia, she captioned her concert footage, "ONLY 4 SHOWS LEFT IN AUSTRALIA LFG ADELAIDE."
With the tour keeping Katy in Australia, she was noticeably absent from Jeff and Lauren's wedding - despite the singer being a close friend of the couple. She even went to space with Lauren earlier this year on a rocket funded by Jeff's Blue Origin company.

Glastonbury fans fume act 'on wrong stage' and call for Olivia Rodrigo switch

Glastonbury fans were divided by the stage set up during Sunday night as some thought Olivia Rodrigo's headline Pyramid Stage set should have been replaced by another act Some Glastonbury fans shared their frustration over the stage set up during the final performances of the 2025 festival. Pop star Olivia Rodrigo landed the role of closing this year's event on the Pyramid Stage. She performed to a massive crowd as fans flocked to see the American star perform her hits such as Drivers License and Good 4 U. While she took to the iconic stage, The Prodigy also performed on the Other Stage. ‌ They also attracted a major crowd as the two artists have a very different fan base. However, some fans thought Olivia and the Prodigy should have switched stages. ‌ One fan fumed: "Prodigy should have been on the main stage, Olivia Rodrigo should have been relegated to this one!" Another added: "Here's a thought, The Prodigy right now, headliners of main stage maybe?? Swap old man Young for this awesome madness." Someone else commented: "The prodigy are utterly smashing this up, unreal. Should be on pyramid. Daft. One of the best live I've ever seen, just pure insanity for 90 minutes." However, a fourth teased: "The Prodigy fans kicking off because the BBC are showing Olivia Rodrigo instead. Call your kids and ask them to explain how iPlayer works x." Other fans expressed their love for both acts. One said: "Conflicted about who to tune into tonight, Olivia Rodrigo or the Prodigy. Prodigy bring the energy, but I have a real curiosity in seeing who Olivia Rodrigo might bring out on stage with her, and I can't fault her tunes. Two very solid Sunday night closers." A fan also gushed: "Olivia Rodrigo is an amazing performer. A great headliner… and only 22!" Olivia, 22, rose to global fame for her hit single, Driver's License, topping the charts along with her songs Vampire and Good 4 You. ‌ The former Disney star previously performed at Glastonbury's Other Stage in 2022, going viral for bringing out British singer Lily Allen. They sang Lily's hit single, F*** You, after the pop-star condemned the US Supreme Court for overturning Roe v Wade and allowing individual US states to ban abortion. "I'm devastated and terrified that so many women and so many girls are going to die because of this," Olivia said on stage ahead of singing with Lily. ‌ "I wanted to dedicate this next song to the five members of the Supreme Court who have showed us that at the end of the day, they truly don't care about freedom." Olivia revealed headlining Glastonbury was a "dream" for her. Posting on her Instagram story, the singer said: 'Headlining glasto has been one of my biggest dreams for so long. Truly can't believe this! So grateful and sooo excited. Hope to see you there.' Before her music career, she was an actor on Disney Channel, starring in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series as well as the television series Bizaardvark, which follows two best friends as they create music videos and share vlogs on their website.

Both albums are no skips for me. I'm a proper fan." Ed added: "Was gonna go watch the show anyway but she hit me and asked to sing The A Team with her, which was such a buzz. Prior to her huge closing set, Olivia spoke to the XM CBS channel in the United States. "With Gwen I really love he way that she sort of straddled rock and pop in a really cool way. I think she's super adventurous and takes risks, so I really look up to her. But who's to say, I don't know. I don't know where I'm going to be tomorrow, let alone in five years.' She also teased a potential venture away from music in the near future. "I love telling stories in songs, and if there was a story that I felt like really resonated with me in a film, I would love to do that too," she said. "I don't quite know yet, but I'm very open to it." And he also wished Olivia luck ahead of her Glastonbury show, saying: "Rock Glasto headline Sunday @oliviaarodrigo, UK loves you x" READ MORE: How to see Glastonbury acts live this year after festival comes to an end Like this story? Chatting with Radio Times, the 80 year old rocker shared that due to his recent stint in Las Vegas, he's facing a hefty bill to transport all his gear back to Britain for his performance at Worthy Farm, reports the Manchester Evening News. "It's going to cost me £300,000 to do it and they (Glastonbury) only pay you about 120,000 quid," he revealed. ‌ Sir Rod was joined by the Rolling Stones' Ronnie Wood, his old mate from Faces, Lulu and Mick Hucknall on the stage. ‌ "I'm really looking forward to it," he said ahead of the performance. "And it is a different gig." He likened the experience to playing in a football final: "It's like when you're playing a cup final: you're trying to treat it like another game. But, of course, it's not. It's special. "It'll be glamorous, it'll be sexy," Rod went on. "And we've got a little orchestra coming on to play with us. Speaking to the BBC, he said: "Usually I do well over two hours so there's still a load of songs we won't be able to do. ‌ "But we've been working at it. The 80 year old music icon sang a variety of his songs, such as Maggie May and Sailing. ‌ It's well-known that Glastonbury headliners receive far less in payment compared to other major festivals. Although the exact sums are confidential, it's understood that the festival's ethos of supporting charities means artists typically accept lower fees. Estimates of what past headliners have been paid vary widely, from £35,000 to £300,000, with the final figure often hinging on the artist's stature and negotiating clout. Article continues below Insiders hint that top-tier acts such as Coldplay, Beyonce, and The Rolling Stones might pocket around £200,000, a sum that pales in comparison to the £1 million or more they could rake in elsewhere.
