. Her father, Balakrishna Naik, has publicly made serious allegations against his daughter, accusing her and her husband of deceit and betrayal.
Speaking to the media, Balakrishna claimed he was not properly invited to the wedding and expressed his disapproval of the marriage. He went on to call the couple "thieves," alleging that Chaitra's mother supported their union for financial gain. 'They bonded me for the sake of money,' he said, adding that he was asked for financial help during the wedding despite his modest job at a hotel. He accused Sreekanth of residing in their house without dignity, claiming the couple has tarnished the family's reputation.
In a swift and sharp response, Chaitra took to social media to address her father's accusations. In a post, she wrote, 'Only those who have suffered because of a drunkard father will understand. No child deserves a drunkard father. If I give him two quarters of liquor, people will call him god and realise how foolish they are.'
The family feud has now spilled into the public domain, drawing mixed reactions from fans and netizens.
To the unversed, Chaitra tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend Srikanth Kashyap on May 9 in a traditional Hindu ceremony held in her hometown Kundapura. The wedding was attended by close family and a few celebrities, including Gold Suresh. The couple had been in a relationship for 12 years before taking the plunge.

Prasad and prayers at bhandaras as last Bada Mangal festival of the yr concludes
Lucknow: Devotees thronged temples to pray on the last Bada Mangal on Tuesday. Many bhandaras (community feasts) were organised on the occasion. At Hanuman Setu temple, prasad of laddoo was served to the devotees, and bhog of puri and kheer was offered to the deity. Another devotee, Shrikant Iyyer, said, "I am an ardent bhakt of Bajrang Bali, and whatever I got in life is because of him. I prayed for my civil service exam and ate puri sabzi in a bhandara." At Lete Hue Hanumanji Temple, the deity was decorated with flowers and offered a bhog of 91 kg of laddoo, which was later served to the devotees.
