Bargo blasts two, Vols win Game 1 vs. Arkansas
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (WATE) — Dalton Bargo barreled two home runs to help lead the Vols past Arkansas in game one of the three-game set 10-7.
Bargo's first dinger of the game came in the second inning. The lefty went opposite field for his 13th home run of the season.

The Vols went back-to-back in the seventh. Bargo's second blast gave the Vols breathing room. The junior pulled the off-speed pitch over the wall in left-center for a two-run shot. Bargo racked up three RBIs on the night. Right after Bargo's second homer, Dean Curley launched his 12th home run of the season into the left field seats.
Many Marin drove in two runs in the fourth inning on an infield single. He's up to 16 RBI on the year. Gavin Kilen singled home a run in the fourth.
Tennessee football season opener to be broadcast on 6 News
Arkansas trimmed the lead to 7-6 in the eighth inning, but Cannon Peebles crushed a two-run shot to left field for his 11th home run of the season. Tennessee tacked on another run when Kilen singled and Jay Abernathy scored on a throwing error to make it 10-6.
Tony Vitello started Marcus Phillips. The Sioux Falls, South Dakota, native completed 4.1 innings, giving up seven hits and three earned runs. Phillips picked up three strikeouts.
Dylan Loy took over for Phillips. He saw one batter and struck him out. A.J. Russell took over for Loy. Russell completed two innings with three punchouts. He picked up his first win of the season. Russell loaded the bases, and Vitello turned to Tanner Franklin to get out of the jam. Franklin escaped the trouble with a flyout to left.
Nate Snead struggled, giving up four earned runs in two innings of work.
UP NEXT: Tennessee will look to win the series against Arkansas on Friday. First pitch is set for 7:30 p.m.
