England's Archer keen to play remaining India Tests, Ashes

Archer made his Test comeback at Lord's in the third Test, bowling at full tilt to claim five wickets, including three in the second innings as England clinched a 22-run victory to go 2-1 up in the five-match series.
England management, men's managing director Rob Key in particular, have been careful about Archer's workload since his recovery from elbow and back injuries but the bowler is raring to go.
'I can play the other two (against India) if they let me,' Archer told Sky Sports.
'I don't want to lose this series. I told 'Keysey' I wanted to play the test summer and I wanted to play the Ashes.
'I think one tick is already there and I will do everything possible in my power to be on the plane in November.'
It was Archer's first Test since coach Brendon 'Baz' McCullum and captain Ben Stokes took the helm in 2022 and implemented an exciting result-oriented approach.
Archer was happy how his reintegration into the Test squad had been handled.
'Obviously it would have been the format which would have taken the most time to come back to. So I played 50-over and T20 for the last year and a half, two years,' he said.
'The guys have played some really exciting cricket since Baz took over. I think the mentality of the team under Baz suits the way I like to play my cricket.
'I just couldn't wait to get back and actually do it without having to be prompted to do it.'
The fourth Test against India begins on July 23 in Manchester.

'Obviously, when Rory was there over his three-footer to win and the tap-in, I was definitely, oh, man, I've kind of been here before watching the same story, being in a playoff against Sergio, so there was definitely a little bit of deja vu. 'I was able to still be happy for Rory in that moment, and it had been a long time coming for him. It was always going to be a matter of time,' Rose said. Northern Irishman McIlroy, the world No. 2, will start as one of the favorites to land his second British Open title, roared on by the home fans. 'Rory is obviously a local hero around here, and rightly so. The legend around him in these parts has been growing for a long, long time,' Rose said. 'I feel like the pressure is off him almost from that point of view. This would just be like cherries on top of everything for him.' Rose acknowledged he was probably too old to improve his game much. 'I would say it's going to be hard to get a ton better and transform my game to suddenly add new dimensions. But in situations and certain environments, I can still bring my best, and if I do that I still feel very competitive,' he added.

Real Madrid Star Jude Bellingham Undergoes Shoulder Injury and Set to Miss Early Part of Season
Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham underwent shoulder surgery Wednesday and was expected to miss the start of the upcoming season. The club said in a brief statement that the England international needed surgery to address recurrent dislocation of his left shoulder. The procedure was successful, it added. Bellingham will now undergo a period of rehabilitation prior to returning to training and starting his recovery, the club's statement said. Madrid did not say for how long Bellingham will be sidelined, but Spanish media reported he could be out two to three months. Madrid opens its La Liga campaign on Aug. 19 against Osasuna. He is also expected to miss some Champions League games and likely England's World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Serbia in September. The 22-year-old Bellingham had been nursing the shoulder injury since 2023 but was delaying the surgery to avoid missing time with Madrid and England. He had been able to play while wearing a brace. Bellingham played at the Club World Cup in finishing his second season with Madrid after joining from Borussia Dortmund.
