Feyenoord's Zechiël joins FC Utrecht on loan
Feyenoord's Gjivaï Zechiël will play on loan at FC Utrecht next season, as 1908 and De Telegraaf's Jeroen Kapteijns reported on Wednesday afternoon.
Zechiël, who showed bright sparks during his loan spell at Sparta Rotterdam in the second half of last season, found interest from FC Twente, Sparta and a number of foreign clubs. However, he ultimately chose Utrecht, who, after finishing fourth last term, will play European football via the preliminary rounds of the Europa League.

As 1908.nl already reported at the beginning of this month, the Domstedelingen were a concrete choice for the midfielder.
This move seems best for all parties, as it is believed that Feyenoord still see Zechiël's future at De Kuip. The latest loan seems a wise decision to aid his development and senior match experience.
