Challenge Cup hero Tom Davies helped Hull KR continue their celebrations by opening the scoring in their 12-try Super League demolition of a Catalans Dragons side that had captain Benjamin Garcia red carded in the first half.Davies snatched a late winner to earn the Robins their first cup win for 45 years just six days earlier, but was quick to break the deadlock at a packed Craven Park that witnessed Catalans slump to a club-record defeat.James Batchelor and Sauaso Sue added to the score before Dragons were momentarily down to 11 men, with Garcia sent off just two minutes after Franck Maria was sin-binned.A second Batchelor score and further tries Kelepi Tanginoa, Jack Broadbent and Mikey Lewis put Hull KR 36-0 up at the break.Sue got a second try of his own before Luke Keary managed to end Catalans' points drought with their first try in four games, but another Lewis score and late Noah Booth, Jai Whitbread and Tyrone May tries ensured the Super League leaders mercilessly moved four points clear at the summit.More to follow.

Man Utd line up England star as one of two transfer alternatives to Bryan Mbeumo as they refuse to overpay
MANCHESTER UNITED have identified two alternatives in case they miss out on Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo. And one of them is an England international, who has already attracted interest from the Premier League. 6 6 6 United are prioritising Mbeumo, 25, after signing Matheus Cunha for a staggering £62.5million from Wolves. However, SunSport understand Tottenham have swooped in for the versatile forward after landing his manager from Brentford Thomas Frank and are planning a £70m raid. And the Manchester giants are refusing to overpay for the Cameroon international, with the the Bees said to have slapped a fee in the region of £60m. According to ESPN, that is why Man Utd are considering Bournemouth ace Antoine Semenyo and Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze as plan Bs. Eze, 26, has also attracted interest from Aston Villa after leading Palace to their first ever FA Cup. However, SunSport understand the Eagles have slapped a whopping £65m release clause on their star player. The playmaker has a complicated valuation based on several factors at Selhurst Park. The Red Devils are also understood to be leading the race to sign Semenyo, 25. The winger is believed to have attracted attention from every Big Six club, with the exception of Arsenal. And the Cherries won't let the Ghana international, who has a valuation worth £70m, go easily. Eberechi Eze was rejected by SIX teams including Arsenal as fans say 'absolute stinker in hindsight' United have been prioritising Sporting Lisbon star Viktor Gyokeres for his former manager in Portugal Ruben Amorim. However, reports are now suggesting Gyokeres has turned down a move to Old Trafford, which paves the way for Arsenal to capitalise on. 6 6 6

Andre Onana makes eight-word statement about his Man United future as club legend urges Ruben Amorim to stick with his current No 1
Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana gave a very non-committal answer this week when asked about his future at Old Trafford. Onana has started 72 Premier League games for United since signing from Inter Milan in July 2023. The 29-year-old has made 239 saves in those matches, keeping 18 clean sheets, but he has also produced multiple high-profile errors. Having finished 15th in the Premier League last season — the club's lowest final position in the top flight since 1974 — significant changes are expected at United this summer as manager Ruben Amorim aims to fine tune his squad. Onana is rumoured to have attracted interest from Saudi Arabia but it is understood that no deal is currently close. The former Inter and Ajax stopper is currently on holiday but he was stopped for a quick chat by reporter Stephane Bassalia Ouattara this week. When quizzed about whether he might be departing United this summer, a smiling Onana replied in French: 'Will I leave? I don't know, we'll see!' Onana faced more criticism than many of his United team-mates last season but club legend and former goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar believes that Amorim should stick with his current No 1. Speaking to talkSPORT this week, Van der Sar said: 'He has great strengths. He's athletic. 'He has good reaction saves. Good with his feet and everything. I'm sure he's going to get over it. 'Sometimes it's not easy. Sometimes your performances or the pressure there is. 'But I've seen him play for Ajax, for Inter, Champions League finals. I'm sure he's going to be fine for next season. 'I think there are more areas where United should see if you can have a better player, a different player. 'But I don't think the goalkeeping situation needs to be addressed now.' But Edwin van der Sar, pictured at last month's Europa League final, thinks Onana should stay When asked if some of the criticism of Onana had been unfair, Van der Sar added: 'If you make a mistake or drop one through your legs or it's a wrong ball that you put out from the back, then you can blame the goalkeeper. 'He's not been consistent in his performances this year. But with the qualities that he has, he should be able to play for Man United for next season.' The only other goalkeeper to play for United's first team last season was Turkey international Altay Bayindir.

Tyson Fury's strength compared with Soccer Aid co-manager Wayne Rooney
Ahead of this Sunday's Soccer Aid at Old Trafford, Fury - who will co-manage the England team with Rooney - tried his luck at the iconic grip test Tyson Fury and Wayne Rooney went head-to-head in a thrilling grip test ahead of this weekend's Soccer Aid - and the results will shock you. This year's Soccer Aid will return to Old Trafford, home of Premier league giants Manchester United, this Sunday. Celebrities and footballing will battle it out on the pitch as England take on the Soccer Aid World XI FC in the world 's biggest charity football match. England took the crown last year after defeating the World XI 6-3 at Stamford Bridge. Once again, many big names are set to feature, including Jill Scott, Tom Grennan, Sir Mo Farah, Fury, Joe Hart, Steph Houghton and former Italy defender Leonardo Bonucci. With just days to go until the highly-anticipated charity match, several stars went hand-to-hand in a battle to determine who has the strongest grip. A grip test measure the maximum force you can exert when squeezing a hand dynamometer. This test is often used to assess overall upper body strength and can be a unique way of assessing health and predicting future health outcomes. First up was the 'Gypsy King' - who may be displeased with the result. He jokingly claimed he scored 700, before showing his actual score of 69.3kg to the camera. Up next was Manchester United legend Rooney - who was not far off of Fury's tally as the ex-England international scored 61.2kg. Bonucci picked up a underwhelming score by his high standards. After picking up 29kg on his first effort, the Italian pressed on and eventually scored a grand total of 37.7kg. Finally, UNICEF UK Ambassador and famous TV presenter Dermot O'Leary tried his luck and scored a fairly respectable 32.5kg. "Is that good?" O'Leary said before the cameraman replied: "Oh, we won't tell you what Tyson (Fury) got!" A stunned O'Leary passionately responded: "Won't tell me what Tyson Fury got! I am not exactly expecting... oh no I did not beat Tyson Fury did I? Oh, what a shame!" Fury will be co-managing the team alongside Rooney this weekend. Prior to the announcement, the 'Gypsy King' uploaded a video to his Instagram page walking through the Old Trafford tunnel with an England flag and captioning the post: "Did you miss me?" The footage went viral on social media - with many believing he was set to announce his return to boxing. An avid Red Devils fans, Fury was clearly excited following the announcement. 'ENGLAND MANAGER! Who would ever have thought it!? I have had some big fights in my career and the prospect of leading my England team to victory this June fills me with just as much excitement as any heavyweight fight," he said. "Everyone knows that I am a huge Manchester United fan too, so it's even more special for me that the game is at Old Trafford this year – and I get to manage one of my heroes, Wayne Rooney! How can we lose!? The work UNICEF does all around the world is so special and so important. I really hope that you can come along and support us this summer.'
