'Am I going to war ... ': Pakistan politician Sherry Rehman gets flustered when grilled on Pakistan's terror links; watch video
Sherry Rehman Former Pakistani ambassador Sherry Rehman engaged in a heated exchange with Sky News when asked questions over allegations of Pakistan harbouring terrorist organizations, particularly in light of the recent Pahalgam attack. When questioned about Brigade 313, which TRAC (Terrorism Research and Analysis Consortium) analysts identify as an Al Qaeda-affiliated umbrella group operating in Pakistan, Rehman responded defensively. "I don't know who told you this, but I can produce any number of pages saying all this," she retorted, suggesting the creation of a "digital dossier" to counter such claims. She further deflected by pointing to India's internal conflicts: "Are we responsible for all 100 insurgencies running in India?" — SkyYaldaHakim (@SkyYaldaHakim) The interviewer, Hakim, referenced " Operation Sindoor ," which targeted nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) following the Pahalgam attack. UN-designated terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) had also confirmed that its top commander Masood Asghar and ten family members were killed in Bahawalpur during these strikes. Rehman's cryptic response, "Children are not leaders," was followed by her questioning the credibility of international analysts. "Most of the analysts you're quoting are aligned with India's narrative. They only tell India's story," she argued, dismissing claims about Brigade 313's Al Qaeda connections. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 오스템 임플란트 받아가세요 임플란터 더 알아보기 Undo Rehman has long been a prominent voice in Pakistani politics. "Nitish-BJP has not just ruined law and order, but cremated it": RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav
Patna (Bihar) [India], June 10 (ANI): Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav on Tuesday criticised Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, alleging a failure of law and order under his government and claiming that over 65,000 murders have taken place during his tenure. In a post on X, the former CM cited official statistics to claim that over 65,000 murders have occurred during Nitish Kumar's tenure. 'Does Nitish know, recognise and understand that during his rule, according to official figures, 65,000 murders have taken place? 65,000 people have been murdered, 65,000!', he wrote on X. Raising concerns over daylight crimes, Yadav questioned the state of policing in Bihar. 'Nitish should tell how many murders are taking place by breaking into houses before 5 p.m.?' he said. RJD Chief further added, 'Nitish-BJP has not only destroyed the law and order but has also cremated it. Bihar has never had such a corrupt, careless and lazy police.' Earlier, Tejashwi Yadav launched a sharp attack on the Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government, accusing it of failing on law and order and allowing the health system to collapse. Yadav said to reporters, 'Criminals are on the loose in Bihar. Many incidents are constantly coming to light, and the police seem helpless. The government is also sleeping, and it seems as if they have nothing to do with anything.., rape happens and the Deputy CM makes promises, this is the situation. This is maha-jungle raj.' The developments come as political temperatures rise in Bihar ahead of the 2025 Assembly elections. Opposition parties criticise the government over rising crime and alleged governance failures. Meanwhile, Bihar elections are expected to be held later this year in October or November; however, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has not announced an official date. While the NDA, consisting of the BJP, JD(U), and LJP, will once again be looking to continue their stint in Bihar, the INDIA bloc, consisting of the RJD, Congress, and left parties, will be looking to unseat Nitish Kumar. In the current Bihar Assembly, which has 243 members, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has 131, the BJP has 80 MLAs, JD(U) has 45, and HAM(S) has 4, with the support of 2 Independent Candidates. The Opposition's INDIA Bloc has a strength of 111 members with RJD leading with 77 MLAs, Congress-19, CPI(ML)-11, CPI(M)-2 and CPI-2. (ANI)

US resumes visa processing for Harvard students after court blocks Trump's policy ban
The US State Department has directed all consular sections worldwide to restart issuing student and exchange visitor visas for Harvard University . This move comes after a federal court in Boston temporarily blocked President Donald Trump 's order banning foreign students from studying at the university. A diplomatic cable dated June 6, signed by Secretary of State Marco Rubio , instructed US missions abroad to comply with the court's decision. The cable said the action was 'in accordance with' a temporary restraining order issued by US District Judge Allison Burroughs. The judge's order, granted late last week, prevents Trump 's proclamation from taking effect until further legal proceedings are completed. The administration had cited national security reasons to justify the entry ban on international students at Harvard. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Join new Free to Play WWII MMO War Thunder War Thunder Play Now Undo The court intervention comes amid wider tensions between the Trump administration and Harvard.
