Gian Piero Gasperini has been appointed Roma head coach following his exit from Serie A rivals Atalanta.
He has signed a three-year contract at Roma through to 2028.
The 67-year-old spent nine years at Atalanta, with whom he won the 2023-24 Europa League and regularly qualified for the Champions League.
Gasperini succeeds Claudio Ranieri, who was appointed in November 2024 with Roma 16th in Serie A but helped them finish one point from Champions League qualification in fifth.

There have been a multitude of head coach changes in Serie A this summer.
Massimiliano Allegri has returned to AC Milan to replace Sergio Conceicao, while city rivals Inter have a vacancy after Simone Inzaghi's exit to Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal.
Elsewhere, Maurizio Sarri has returned to Lazio following the departure of Marco Baroni, who in turn has replaced Paolo Vanoli at Torino.

Report – Inter Milan Make Manchester United & Parma Strikers Top Targets For Summer Transfer Window

Joshua Zirkzee and Yoan-Ange Bonny have emerged as the top targets for Inter Milan ahead of the summer transfer window. Per Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the two strikers have climbed to the top of Beppe Marotta's shortlist. Advertisement Inter had tried to lure Joshua Zirkzee to San Siro before Manchester United beat them to the punch last summer. However, the Dutchman's first season at Old Trafford has been a disaster, and he could soon return to Serie A. Meanwhile, Yoan-Ange Bonny has enjoyed an impressive maiden season in Italy's top flight with Parma. The Frenchman has been one of the revelations this term, attracting interest from numerous clubs in the country. Furthermore, the Serie A title hopefuls keep close tabs on Genoa midfielder Morten Frendrup. After Piotr Zielinski struggled in his first season at San Siro, Inter could try to land the Norwegian this summer.
