Diddy trial live updates: Cassie told Combs 'I'm not a rag doll' - as hip-hop mogul's ex-partner is questioned
Cassie opens up on treatment for trauma and drug addiction
The line of questioning moves on to Cassie's use of drugs, and she tells the court she has been taking Suboxone for an opioid addiction since 2022.
The prescription medication is a combination drug containing Buprenorphine and Naloxone.
Cassie says she sought further help as an inpatient at Willow House, a rehabilitation centre in Arizona, in 2023.
She describes receiving EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) treatment once a week during her 45-day stay.
Cassie says it helps "recount memories" and "process them", adding: "They hook you up to a machine, and it regulates your brain waves… it lets you complete a trauma that [you] cut off."
The rehabilitation centre describes itself as offering "inpatient treatment for women experiencing a wide range of sex and intimacy issues including love addiction, sexual compulsivity, unhealthy relationship patterns, sexual trauma, toxic relationships, and co-occurring mental health and substance abuse issues".
Cassie says she wasn't treated for sex or love addiction.

Concern over use of escorts from TV show called Gigolos
An escort service used by Sean Combs for his parties - Cowboys 4 Angels - is discussed, and the fact it appeared in a TV show called Gigolos.
Cassie agrees she had been concerned that escorts involved in the Showtime programme had also been invited to freak offs, and that there was the risk of details of the parties becoming more widely known.
When asked about one escort who was featured, and if they had been invited to a freak off, Cassie says: "I have never seen the show, so I don't know".

Cassie heard saying in audio recording: 'I will f*** you up and it won't be my hand'
Estevao asks about Cassie learning of a recording of her out in the public, and her concern "it might have been a freak off".
Estevao says one of Combs's security staff was with her in Sedona, Arizona at the time, which was a trip "to take a break from drugs and partying".
Cassie agrees Combs was encouraging her "to get to the bottom of it".
A conversation is then played to the court of Cassie appearing to threaten a man she believes may have the video. Cassie asks him if he has it on his phone, and then threatens him when he doesn't show her.
She is heard saying: "Where is it? You are telling me nothing right now, you have it, or you don't have it? I want to f***ing see that, it is my f***ing life and I will kill you… if you have it, pull it up, or I will kill you and he will kill you again, I am tired of you talking s***."
She goes on to accuse the man of "playing games", adding "I will kill you, I have never killed someone in my life, but you are f***ing with me and my life now, I would show you the video, you are playing games because you said you saw the video, I will f*** you up and it won't be my hand".
Estevao goes on to say Combs "spent time and money" to make the problem of the recording "go away". Cassie says she doesn't know the details.

Cassie denies dance with Chris Brown - as Diddy 'ran off' with her phone
Estevao movies on to an incident in which Combs is said to have believed Cassie was cheating on him in August 2018, and Cassie answers "the relationship was over by then".
When asked how Combs learned of the relationship, Cassie says she's not sure, and says: "We were not in a great place. I was dating someone else. I am not sure how he found out, he grabbed my phone, and ran out of the car."
Cassie says Combs then ran off with her phone and was gone "for a couple of hours", later speaking with the man she was dating, who is described as "a professional NFL player".
Estevao uses the word "cheating" in her description of the relationship, which Cassie says is incorrect as it was "a boyfriend girlfriend relationship" between her and her new partner.
Cassie is then asked about a time she was "dancing with Chris Brown", answering "I don't remember it", adding she wasn't dancing with the singer.
At this point the prosecution objects, and the line of questioning moves on, with Cassie confirming there were other occasions when Combs "took my phone, my car, my watch" when he was angry with her.

Cassie told Diddy: 'I'm not a ragdoll'
Cassie Ventura is back on the stand, and the defence's cross-examination continues.
Defence attorney Anna Estevao picks up her line of questioning, asking about the period around the incident at the InterContinental in March 2016.
This is when the hip-hop mogul allegedly attacked Ventura as she tried to leave during a "freak off" sex session.
Estevao asks about Sean "Diddy" Combs's drug use at that time, and Cassie says she believes he was "intoxicated" while at the hotel.
The court is shown a text Cassie sent to Combs on 10 March, 2016, in which she says: "When you get f***ed up the wrong way, you always want to show me you have the power to knock me around, I am not a rag doll, I am someone's child."

Court is in session

In pictures: Queue forms outside court as Cassie's husband arrives
Alex Fine, Cassie's husband, has been pictured arriving at the Manhattan court, along with Marc Agnifilo from the defence team.
As has been the case on each day of this trial, people from the public have been queueing to get inside.

What happened yesterday?
Cassie will return to the stand shortly, as Sean 'Diddy' Combs's defence team cross-examines her for a second day.
They started yesterday, so here's a reminder of what happened in court:
Combs's defence lawyer Anna Estevao began with questions about their relationship, asking Cassie if she loved the rapper and if she knew a version of him the public didn't - to which she said yes;
Text messages between the couple, who were together for around 11 years from 2007, were the focus of much of this hearing;
Combs called her "babygirl" and said "I love you so much it makes me cry" in messages from 2009, while Cassie said "I love you so much I can't wait till we don't care anymore";
Questioning then turned to the "freak offs" we have heard so much about at the trial so far - sessions during which Diddy paid male escorts to have sex with Cassie while he watched;
Sexually explicit messages showed her express enthusiasm about the freak offs she has alleged she was forced into;
"Can't wait," Cassie said in one text message, talking about taking part in a freak off; in another message, Combs told her he was "horny" and she replied: "Omg I was just about to text you the same thing";
But in a later message, she said a freak off had made her feel "grimy" and "dirty";
Diddy's lawyers painted his sexual preferences as part of a "swingers" lifestyle that has been mentioned previously at trial, saying people might not agree with it, but it does not make him guilty of sex trafficking;
Cassie's relationship with Kid Cudi and Diddy's with Kim Porter, the late mother of four of his children, were discussed, with Cassie admitting she was jealous of Kim;
Cassie alleged Diddy was "addicted to opiates and used ecstasy, MDMA and cocaine" and recalled an occasion where he overdosed on opiates at the Playboy Mansion;
The witness also told the court there were never any drugs in the baby oil used during freak offs after Combs was accused in a lawsuit last year of spiking the lubricant with GHB.

6 bodies are recovered from a Colorado dairy. Authorities suspect an accident involving gas exposure
Six people died at a dairy on the Colorado plains from an apparent accident involving exposure to gas, authorities said Thursday. The dead are all male and Hispanic, said Jolene Weiner, chief deputy coroner for Weld County. Their identities were being withheld pending notification of the families. 'We are investigating these deaths as the possible consequence of gas exposure in a confined space,' Weiner said. Autopsies are planned and investigators are looking into what kind of gases may have played a role in the deaths. The dairy, Prospect Valley Dairy, is located along a rural road near Keenesburg, about 35 miles (55 kilometers) northeast of Denver. Crews entered a confined space at the dairy on Wednesday and recovered the bodies, the Southeast Weld Fire Protection District said. Weld County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Melissa Chesmore said her agency didn't find anything criminal in nature. 'It looks like an accident,' she said. She didn't elaborate on the nature of the emergency or say where exactly the bodies were found, referring questions to occupational safety regulators. Chauntra Rideaux, a U.S. Department of Labor spokesperson, said in an email that the Occupational Safety and Health Administration was investigating and that more information would be available after it's complete. Dairy Farmers of America said a 'tragic accident' occurred at a member farm in Keenesburg that resulted in the deaths of six people. "We are deeply saddened by this incident, and our thoughts and most sincere condolences go out to the friends and families of the deceased. At this early stage, we have no further details,' the cooperative of dairy farmers said in a statement. County tax records say the property is owned by Prospect Valley Dairy LLC and list a Bakersfield, California, address for the owners. Phone messages left for a number at the California address were not immediately returned. The dairy has a milking parlor 32,500 square feet (3,000 square meters) in size, according to county recordss. It also has two free stall barns, one built in 2017 that is more than 450,000 square feet (nearly 42,000 square meters) and another built last year that is more than 100,000 square feet (more than 9,000 square meters). Keenesburg's website says it's a town of 2,000 people in a growing area 20 miles (32 kilometers) from Denver International Airport. It says it offers small town living with the convenience of nearby amenities. Weld County more broadly is a major agricultural producer. Three-quarters of its land is devoted to farming and raising livestock. It's Colorado's leading dairy producer and the state's biggest source of beef cattle, grain and sugar beets. Census data from 2020 says 30% of the county was Hispanic or Latino, compared to 22% for the state overall. More than 14% of the county spoke Spanish at home. ___ Lee reported from Santa Fe, New Mexico and McAvoy reported from Honolulu. Associated Press Writer Corey Williams contributed from Detroit.

Net-A-Porter founder accuses her ex of living double life of 'rampant' drug use, prostitutes and affairs in bombshell $71m lawsuit
Fashion queen Dame Natalie Massenet has accused her ex-partner of being a 'sex addict' who lived a double life of 'rampant' drug use, prostitutes and multiple affairs in a devastating lawsuit. Bombshell court papers allege the life of the British-American founder of Net-a-Porter fell apart in May after she claims Erik Torstensson confessed to being a 'liar, drug addict, alcoholic and sex addict'. In the civil case launched yesterday in California, the former chairman of the British Fashion Council, 60, was said to have been left 'heartbroken' after discovering his betrayal had spanned much of their 14-year-relationship. She claims to have 'spent more than $95 million during the course of their relationship on expensive properties, lifestyle expenses, vacations, and more based on Torstensson's promises to repay her in kind'. The Swedish entrepreneur, 47, faces accusations he used his now-ex-partner for 'social clout' and she was left 'cash-strapped with his child'. 'As soon as he had finished spending Massenet's money, he left,' the papers say. As the pair weren't married, the complaint seeks damages for breach of contract, fraud, and infliction of emotional distress. Lawyers for Dame Natalie wrote: 'While Massenet is emotionally devastated and in shock caused by Torstensson's outrageous behaviour, this is a case of a return on investment in a man who leveraged Massenet's capital and brand to build wealth, while she bore the majority of the costs. 'Massenet is demanding what any investor would – a fair, equitable return on the investments she made, value she created, and costs she carried.' Mr Torstensson, founder of denim brand Frame, is yet to file a response to the claim lodged with the Superior Court of Los Angeles. Trouble first arose, it is said, in 2024, when the ex-fashion journalist noticed Mr Torstensson was disappearing at night and drinking heavily. She later found a bottle of Valacyclovir, which he said was to treat hives but she learnt was to treat herpes, her case says. Despite starting relationship counselling, Mr Torstensson's behaviour was said to have deteriorated, and things came to a head when he said he wanted to end their relationship. According to the filings, Dame Natalie discovered this May that he had been living a 'secret life for many years'. She allegedly found explicit messages and photographs showing her partner had 'maintained multiple affairs with several younger women for years'. One was said to be someone the dame knew. When confronted, Mr Torstensson was said to have confessed he was a 'liar, an alcoholic, a drug addict, a sex addict and that it had gone on for seven years'. Her team also claim Mr Torstensson hired prostitutes and used drugs including cocaine in Los Angeles, London and New York while travelling for work – with the papers including texts allegedly sent between him and a drug dealer. One sex worker was said to have been hired days after the couple celebrated their son's embryo being implanted with a surrogate. On another occasion, Mr Torstensson allegedly texted a woman he was sleeping with during a family trip, telling her he was 'in hell'. The papers claim the Swede targeted the entrepreneur to forge a 'path toward power, influence and a better life' in 2009 when he had nothing. The case alleges Torstensson 'seduced' her to gain 'social clout' which he used to 'rack up investment and equity positions worth hundreds of millions of dollars'. He is also said to have used the businesswoman, who was made Dame by the Queen in 2016, to access A-listers such as David and Victoria Beckham, who he convinced to promote Frame. The documents claim Mr Torstensson had encouraged Dame Natalie – who drove a Smart Car and flew in economy despite her net worth – to live more lavishly despite his own 'pocketbooks being dry'. 'He was set on indulgences like first class or private airfare because he openly cared about outward appearances and yearned to be viewed as powerful in society,' the case says. The couple were said to have agreed she would front the costs for their lives – including the purchase of properties – and invest in Mr Torstensson professionally. In return, Dame Natalie would share in the eventual returns from his business ventures. Yet, once cash began to come in, Mr Torstensson was said to have diverted it to 'rent flashy private planes and art to impress his peers, rather than make good on his promises'. 'Eventually, Torstensson's lies were revealed as just that,' the 27-page claim states. 'All the while, Torstensson had schemed to defraud Massenet out of her hard-earned money and convince her to use her influence and finances to promote and endorse Torstensson publicly and privately under false pretences. 'When the romantic relationship ended because of his duplicity, and as her cash ran out, he cut Massenet out of any potential earnings from her significant investment in Torstensson over the last nearly 15 years,' it alleges. Her lawyers say the self-made entrepreneur has 'suffered severe emotional distress', forced to undergo intensive therapy and had to take weeks off work. They further claim Mr Torstensson 'is completely refusing to honour' his promises and denies owing her anything 'despite the irrefutable evidence that he agreed to do so'.
