MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. - A group of five teens were arrested and four stolen vehicles recovered after a crash in Montgomery County Tuesday evening.
What we know
On Tuesday around 7:30 p.m., Montgomey County police responded to the intersection of Heathfield Drive and Parkland Drive after reports of a crash.
Officers found three cars, empty and idling. The cars, one Kia and two Hyundais, were determined to be stolen.
Police at the scene saw a dark colored Kia speed away with multiple people inside. The Kia stopped at Weller Road, where five teens got out of the car.
The Kia was also determined to have been stolen.
The five teens – one 13-year-old, three 14-year-olds and a 15-year-old, were taken into custody and charged with possession of a stolen vehicle.
They were released to their guardians.

SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — One person has been taken to the hospital after two vehicles collided on private property near Panda Express in the morning of June 6. According to a San Angelo Police Department officer at the scene, the collision occurred in the 5600 block of Sherwood Way on a private roadway near a Panda Express and a Chick-fil-A. Fundraiser started after 5-vehicle crash 'totaled' family's only car The officer said the crash happened after a Kia 'coming in off of Sherwood Way' attempting to make a left turn 'turned in front of' a Ford Mustang driving toward the nearby H-E-B grocery store. The officer stated that no serious injuries were reported. However, the driver of the Kia was transported to the hospital as a precautionary measure. The officer also said that, although the crash was caused by a failure to yield right-of-way, no citation will be issued as the incident occurred on private property rather than a public roadway. Roundtop woman killed in crash southwest of Brenham

Brenham, Tx (FOX44) – A 63-year-old woman has died following a fiery crash in rural Washington County southwest of Brenham. The Department of Public Safety reports Rebecca Mayer of Round Top as pronounced dead at a hospital following the crash that occurred about 5:35 p.m. on Farm to Market Road 389 near FM 2502. DPS Sgt Justin Ruiz said Mayer was the driver of a 2023 Kia Soul that as going east on FM 389 when a 2015 Ford F150 pickup going west began a left hand turn, with the Kia striking it in the side.
