Celebrity Big Brother contestant, Ella Rae Wise, accused best pals Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa of being 'reality stars who are playing games' in comments which have been ripped apart by viewers
TOWIE star, Ella Rae Wise, has been accused of being a 'hypocrite' by Celebrity Big Brother fans after her savage swipes at Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa. In a lengthy rant about her housemates, Ella accused the pals of being 'reality stars who are playing games' following their unlikely friendship, quipping: "They know that they'll get more airtime".
She also accused Chris of being a "social climber" in her damning diagnosis. However, viewers weren't having it as many took to social media, pointing out Ella's considerable reality TV background. Taking to X, sharing screenshots of the 24-year-old from Celebrity Ex On The Beach and The Challenge, one mocked: "'Chris and JoJo are reality stars, they playing games.' Meanwhile the reality star itself #cbbuk #CBB."
Also picking apart her comments, another viewer shared a confused-looking GIF with the caption: "Weird how they all seem to mention how Chris & JoJo have done other TV shows… as if Ella hasn't done TOWIE, The Challenge, Ex on The Beach…" Meanwhile, another mused: "Yeah… watch out for those reality TV stars, Ella" while sharing her Wikipedia page, which listed all of the reality shows she's been in.
Ella's comments about Chris and JoJo came after Olympian Daley Thompson, 66, dubbed the pair's incredibly close friendship as "performative", ahead of his eviction, and said they were both reality stars who did "reality every single day".
Weighing in on the 'showmance' herself, Ella told Donna Preston about Daley: "He said: 'They know what they're doing', adding: "They know if they pair up they will get more airtime".
Taking a swipe at Chris, Ella then said: "I just feel, and this is my personal opinion, that there are social climbers in this industry and I think he would benefit a hell of a lot."
Following her comments, Ella stunned fans when she appeared to want to be pals with JoJo, despite telling fellow contestant Angellica Bell that they didn't "gel".
When JoJo revealed she had been secretly sending her girlfriend in LA messages from the house every day, Ella gushed: "Oh my God, JoJo, you are so sweet man."
She then surprisingly asked: "Do you want to be my girlfriend?" before bursting into laughter. JoJo made her feelings clear with a simple reply, saying: "Sorry, I'm taken."
Adding further fuel to the 'fake rumours', Ella even remarked in a recent episode that she had previously questioned her sexuality and admitted wanting a "girl experience" outside the house.
However, fans weren't buying it as one took to social media, saying: "Ella is soooooo fake with JoJo!" Another commented: "@bbuk Ella is annoying me now. She's so lovely to JoJo's face, even a bit flirty lol, but behind JoJo's back she's saying her and Chris are fake and badmouthing them at every opportunity."
