Tales of the Shire release time and when you can fish, cook and decorate your Hobbit-hole
Tales of the Shire: A Lord of the Rings game is less about fighting the forces of evil and more about fishing and cooking, and the upcoming release time is almost here The Lord of the Rings may be renowned for its perilous adventures, but Tales of the Shire now offers fans the opportunity to live out their Hobbit-inspired culinary and fishing dreams. While the Lord of the Rings saga is driven by a thirst for adventure, it also harbours a softer, homelier side. Frodo and Sam's quest to Mount Doom may be the most famous journey in J.R.R Tolkien's universe, but the Shire has always held the potential for a more comforting narrative. This is precisely what Tales of the Shire: A Lord of the Rings game aims to deliver. The game allows players to immerse themselves in halfling life, preparing new dishes, decorating their homes with fresh furniture, and fishing, all while maintaining good relations with their neighbours. It's an enticing concept, particularly as gamers continue to yearn for a new Animal Crossing instalment and Hello Kitty Island Adventure fades into the background. For many, the cosiest gaming options are found in the PS Plus Extra and Premium July 2025 releases, which gave fans access to Planet Zoo and Bluey: The Video Game. Similarly, the second July Xbox Game Pass drop included Farming Simulator '25 for subscribers. While there's no shortage of cosy gaming experiences currently available, the chance to settle down in the Shire is an offer that's hard to resist. But when exactly is the release time for Tales of the Shire? Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming cosy adventure. Introducing All Out Gaming Introducing All Out Gaming, a dedicated gaming brand providing the best gaming news, reviews, previews, interviews and more! Tales of the Shire Release Time The release time for Tales of the Shire is scheduled for 9am PDT / 12am EDT / 5pm BST on Tuesday, July 29. This information has been verified by the game's team via Twitter, in several posts responding to players curious about the game's launch time. It's a firm deviation from a number of games aiming for a midnight launch, but this means that players are able to get their hands on the title as soon as possible. There's not much longer to wait for the game that promises a delightfully cosy experience in a world that is, fundamentally, rather uncosy. Leave the Balrog battles and endless evil for the next game – we've got fish to reel in.

She shared: "Rainproofing our pergola... and going full BRIDGERTON with a vintage candelabra chandelier." The first thing she did was all some plastic sheeting over the top, so the area could be enjoyed in all weather conditions. After putting a dining set underneath, she added an elegant finishing touch which looked like it could be straight from the ton. Michaela shared: 'To top it all off, we added a vintage candelabra chandelier and wrapped the whole pergola in fairy lights.' She added some fake candles and some faux ivy to the chandelier, and it was ready for hosting her own fancy soiree. Many people were hugely impressed with her simple, yet effective DIY. Her video has racked up over 8,000 likes, and people were quick to comment on the clip. One person wrote: 'This is what I want to do to mine.' Another added: 'Walking to my husband so i can show him this…' Tradesmen quoted me £2.5K to wrap my kitchen cupboards so I did it myself for £62 instead and it looks so good And a third commented: 'That's a great job, looks fabulous.' It's not the first time a homeowner has tried to recreate the Bridgerton look in their garden on a budget. CURTAIN LOOK One woman shared how she picked up two £10 shower curtains which she bought from Temu to give the illusion of an idyllic woodland glade. She says: 'I turned an ugly wooden fence into a spectacular Bridgerton-style paradise using two plastic curtains and a staple gun. "It transformed my garden. People even think the arches and fake gates are real. 'I got the idea when my next-door neighbour did it. Theirs has pink flowers cascading over a faux wall scene. "When I saw it, I was amazed and because I rent my house, I can take it with me if I leave because it folds up. 'I am a fan of Bridgerton. The scene reminded me of the gardens in the show.'

Aldi's £5.99 mascara is returning after fans begged for the ‘best ever' lash booster
ALDI is bringing back its sell-out mascara that fans have hailed as 'the best I've ever used', and it's a steal at just £5.99. Shoppers have been practically begging the budget supermarket to restock the Lacura Girl Gone Bad mascara and their prayers have finally been answered. The bargain beauty buy is hitting shelves again this Thursday, 31st July, as part of Aldi's cult-favourite SpecialBuys range. Known for its intense volume, smudge-proof formula, and dramatic curl, the mascara has developed a bit of a cult following, especially among those who love a beauty bargain. One beauty fan on Reddit wrote: 'Aldi's Lacura Girl Gone Bad mascara is the best mascara I've ever used, but I can no longer find it. "Literally the best I've used for length, thickness, no smudging and no need to layer it up. I always buy multiple packs whenever I see it!' And if the name sounds familiar, there's a reason for that. Savvy shoppers were quick to clock that Girl Gone Bad seems to be Aldi's take on Benefit's Badgal Bang! mascara, which is a favourite among beauty lovers that comes with a whopping £27 price tag. One fan commented: 'Sounds like the name is a dupe for Bad Gal Bang by Benefit, which is the best mascara I've ever used!!' Just like its designer inspiration, Aldi 's version promises to deliver intense black pigment, mega volume, and all-day wear, claiming it will hold your lashes for up to 36 hours. The formula is infused with Vitamin E, known for its nourishing, strengthening, and lash-loving properties. So not only will your lashes look longer and fuller, they'll actually be treated while you wear it. Aldi's backyard essential is flying off shelves for only $29.99 and instantly gets your home ready for summer Housed in a sleek 15ml black-and-pink tube, it's handbag-friendly and perfect for on-the-go top-ups. Whether you're a daily mascara wearer or just need something reliable for nights out, it's the kind of product you'll want to stock up on – especially since once it's gone, it's gone. And it's not the only beauty bargain dropping this week. Also joining Aldi's shelves is a dupe for Charlotte Tilbury's Flawless Finish Setting Spray. Its Illuminate Setting Spray retails at just £4.49 compared to the eye-watering £32 for the designer original. That's a £27.51 saving for something that promises to lock in your glam all day long. To top it all off, Aldi's Lacura line is also releasing a range of beauty tools for just £5.99, so you can complete your glam kit without blowing your budget. The sell-out LED Face Mask is also back and available for just £12.99. The mask features seven different light settings and helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, redness and inflammation and is the perfect tool to deliver a spa-worthy facial at home, for less. What's more, they also have a handy LED indicator, this easy-to-use beauty hack is the secret to a lifted, bright-eyed look. The LED Mirror with Make-Up Brush Set (£5.99) is another one you won't want to miss, it includes two large kabuki brushes, three precise brushes and a rotatable touch sensor mirror. Aldi's Lacura range has long been the supermarket's not-so-secret weapon, offering purse-friendly dupes of high-end skincare, haircare and makeup that regularly go viral and sell out just as fast. These products are in-store only and part of the SpecialBuys drop, meaning once they hit shelves, they don't hang around.
