New appeal launched a week after police officer seriously injured in crash

Senior investigating officer, Detective Superintendent Will Crowther said: 'Last night we carried out checks with drivers on the B416 Bells Hill, a week on from the scene of the road traffic collision that left Pc Christopher Miller with life-threatening injuries.
'We spoke to a number of motorists travelling along the route to ask if they recall seeing anything on the evening of 22 May.
'I want to use this opportunity to continue to appeal to anyone who has information or footage from the area but is yet to contact the force to please come forward.
'The vehicle involved was a white BMW, which will have been damaged after the incident.
'We are keen to understand where the white BMW was before and after the incident, so if you saw the vehicle or anyone in the vehicle, please contact us.
'If you saw any other vehicles that caught your attention in the area that night we would also be keen to hear from you.
'If you have any information or footage from the area then please contact us via our website or by calling 101, quoting investigation number 43250252869.

Deputy Chief Constable Ben Snuggs said: 'Thames Valley Police has been shocked by the news of Pc Christopher Miller being seriously injured while carrying out his duties as a police officer.
'Pc Miller's family continue to be supported by our specially trained family liaison officers.
'Everyone within the force is thinking of Pc Miller, his family and colleagues within our Roads Policing Unit.
'As a force, we continue to support each other through this difficult time.'
Simranjit Kajla, 28, of Lydford Avenue, Slough, has been charged with one count each of attempted murder, causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified, and using a motor vehicle on a road without insurance.
He appeared at Reading Magistrates' Court on Tuesday and was remanded in custody to appear at Reading Crown Court on June 23.
Three other people were arrested in connection with the crash.
A 38-year-old man from Slough, who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and causing serious injury by dangerous driving, has been released on police bail until August 23.
A 43-year-old man from Slough, who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and perverting the course of justice, has been released under investigation.
A 37-year-old woman from Slough, who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and perverting the course of justice, has been released on police bail until August 25.

A man was found with a gunshot wound in a pool of blood on the side of the road following a crash in an allegedly stolen car. The 38-year-old was allegedly shot before crashing the Volkswagen T-Cross into a pole on Raleigh's Road in Melton, west Melbourne, at 9am on Sunday. A schoolgirl killed in a horror fire has been named and pictured by police. Ann Eyre, 15, died at the scene alongside a 67-year-old woman following a fire at a home in St Patrick's Way, Bletchley, near Milton Keynes. Emergency services raced to the street on Friday at 12.10pm with firefighters quickly bringing the flames under control. Thames Valley Police is treating the deaths as 'unexplained' and has since launched an investigation. A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: 'Although she has not been formally identified, we can confirm the girl who tragically died was Ann Eyre, from Bletchley. 'We'd ask people to respect her family's privacy at this incredibly difficult time. 'Our thoughts are with the loved ones of the victims of this tragic fire.' The spokesperson added the force was unable to confirm the identity of the woman. Emotional tributes have since been paid to the youngster on social media who was described as 'smart and funny'. One person wrote on Facebook: 'Such a beautiful soul you lit up the room with your smile. Keep blowing those bubbles up there.' While another added: 'Such a lovely young lady, it was a joy to know her.' One neighbour, named only as Gabriel, told the BBC he had heard 'loud screams' coming from the home during the fire. The father said what he saw was 'unimaginable', before adding: 'Earlier when it happened, I really wasn't myself. I was very, very, shocked.' He described the family who lived at the home as 'easy-going, calm and lovely'.

Nine people taken to hospital after residential boat fire in Wiltshire
Nine people were treated in hospital after a fire broke out on a residential boat along the banks of the River Thames. Emergency services responded to the incident near Lechlade, Wiltshire, at about midday on Saturday, police said. Pictures from the scene showed thick black smoke rising from a residential boat, while bystanders reportedly intervened to rescue people onboard. Wiltshire police confirmed a child was airlifted to Bristol Royal hospital for children, and another individual was flown to the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford. Others were taken to hospital by ambulances. The conditions of the nine people injured in the Lechlade boat fire have not been disclosed but it is understood at least two people have been discharged from hospital. The emergency response reportedly included two air ambulances, six ambulances, three hazardous area response team units, and two rapid response vehicles. Fire engines and police units from Gloucestershire constabulary, Thames Valley police, Wiltshire police and the Ministry of Defence (MoD) police were also called to attend the scene. A Wiltshire police spokesperson said: 'A section of the river was closed and inquiries into the cause of the fire are ongoing.' Thames Valley air ambulance and Hampshire and Isle of Wight air Ambulance, Gloucestershire constabulary, Thames Valley police, and the MoD police have been contacted for comment.
