'Teen Mom' Stars Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra Address Ongoing Drama With Their Daughter's Adoptive Parents

During the May 22 finale, the duo sat down with Dr. Drew Pinsky for the final recap. During their meeting, Dr. Drew explained how he had reached out to the couple who adopted Carly in an effort to smooth things over. As Dr. Drew updated the Baltierra's on his conversation, an emotional Baltierra told the television hos that she felt like the adoptive parents were "keeping this beautiful girl" from her, prompting Dr. Drew to make an astonishing reveal, saying that the families were in desperate need of a "reset" to get back on the same page.
"As part of this reset, they shared something very important with me — something rather moving and remarkable from your daughter," Dr. Drew explained.
"She sings in church, she's quite an accomplished singer and they recorded a song of hers. I would love to listen with you because it is so moving. It does kind of feel like Carly's sending a message of, 'I'm good.'"
However, when the Baltierras said they'd rather listen to the song in private, they were told no. "I have shared with Brandon and Teresa for multiple years, and even at the last visit, how I would love to have a video for her singing and not once has Teresa ever given them to me, but now she'll give them to you? On TV," the mother of three responded.
"This is just the beginning. It's not like I'm going to be the conduit from now on," Dr. Drew attempted to smooth things over. "But I think Carly wants to share with not just you, but the world also. She's participating in this. I think she's proud of it."
In the end, they decided not to listen to the song on the show, and instead called the entire thing "triggering." Later, Baltierra said that he found the whole thing manipulative. After the episode aired, the couple posted a message to the adoptive parents as well as fans, letting them know that they no longer planned to publicly talk about their biological daughter or the adoption on camera.
While there's no word yet whether or not the Baltierras have heard from the adoptive parents since the episode airs, we hope that they're able to find some peace with this situation moving forward. We honestly can't imagine how challenging it must be for everyone involved.

Priscilla Robertson is showing off her baby bump. The "Duck Dynasty" alum, whose parents are Jessica and Jep Robertson, shared her first full reveal on social media, giving her fans a glimpse at her growing belly. "Once upon a time a boy loved a girl… now they are about to love someone even more," Priscilla, 19, captioned the photos, with the hashtags for teen mom and first-time mom and a tag for partner Dillon Nash. She proudly displayed her growing bump while she wore a striped T-shirt, blue jeans and tan sandals. Priscilla took a mirror selfie, covering her face and holding a handbag. In the second photo, Priscilla shared a black and white photo of what appeared to be her holding her own stomach with a view of her growing baby belly. Priscilla is expecting her first child — a baby girl — in October. The photos were posted after Jessica expressed overwhelming joy and revealed how the unexpected pregnancy has become one of the family's greatest blessings. WATCH: 'DUCK DYNASTY' STARS WILLIE AND KORIE ROBERTSON PROUD THEIR KIDS WEREN'T RUINED BY REALITY SHOW FAME In July, Jessica took to Instagram to share an update. The mom-of-five said in her post, "Me & Jep are excited to welcome another new grandbaby in October. Priscilla will give birth to our granddaughter & we are blessed to add another grandbaby." Jessica openly reflected on her teen daughter's pregnancy, adding, "This isn't the plans we had laid out for Priscilla, but God takes our meager offerings and turns them into His greatest blessings!" Jessica added she and Jep were "so proud that Priscilla & Dillon chose life for their baby," and that they'd be "rewarded with this precious baby girl." The "Duck Dynasty" star asked followers to "Pray for us! 3 babies under 1!" Jessica and Jep share five kids together — Lily, 22, Merritt, 20, Priscilla, 19, River, 16 and Gus, 9. Meanwhile, the proud grandmother has been highlighting her daughters' pregnancy journeys on social media. Last month, she posted a birthday tribute to her daughter Meritt on her 21st birthday. Jessica accompanied her post with photos of her two pregnant daughters holding their belly bumps, and they were all smiles for the photos. The baby bump news comes after "Duck Dynasty" star Sadie Roberton welcomed her third child into the world with husband Christian Huff. Robertson, 28, announced the birth of her third daughter on Instagram Aug. 3.
