Jett Kenny, 31, reveals he is going bald and is considering getting a Turkish hair transplant

Daily Mail16-07-2025
Jett Kenny has revealed the real reason why he shaved off his golden boy locks mid-last year.
The male model and serial reality TV contestant, 31, is going bald.
Taking to his Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Jett asked is his 71,000 followers if they could offer any advice or recommendations about hair transplants.
Jett, who is also the son of Olympic swimmer Lisa Curry and former Ironman and canoeist Grant Kelly, shaved his head in 2024 after starring on Amazing Race Australia alongside his partner Lily Brown.
'This is for anyone who has had a hair transplant, has considered having a hair transplant, or who does them,' he began the video.

'Is it possible to donate my hair for someone else?' he asked.
'Only because I'm getting sick and tired of shaving my own head every second day because when it gets to about this length, you can see where my balding is basically.'
Jett turned side-on to his phone camera and pointed to his receding hairline, which he often hides with a variety of stylish caps and beanies.
'If anyone is good enough at creating an image, can you show me what my hairline would look like if it was square?' he asked.
'Because if my hair was this length all over but it was even, I'd be happy with that.'
The Ironman surf lifesaver said he is not too 'fazed' about the prospect of recovering from a surgery, but is hoping to get a better sense of what he will look like afterwards before making any plans.
'Obviously there is a recovery in that which I'm not too fazed about, but I want to see what my hairline is like if it's square,' he said.
'Not that I want to grow my hair long again... because I'd only really want to do that Viking look again — and Lily won't want me to grow a beard,' Jett said.
The 'Viking' look Jett is referring to is one he developed during his time on the first season of SAS Australia, which aired in 2021

Jett provided a reference photo of NBA legend Michael B Jordan as his hair inspiration.
'If you'd had one, do you find your hair is straw-like or wiry?' he asked.
It looks kind of dead on a few people I've seen,' he continued in the video.
Jett also recently updated his Instagram bio to: 'Just a bald man.'
His followers were quick to find the humour in his candid confession and sent in their best attempts at writing AI prompts to see what his hair might look like after a transplant.
'Best I could do,' one friend jokingly commented after pasting a hair emoji over the top of his head.
'Chat GPT is doing me dirty,' Jett commented as he shared several renditions of his selfie with pixelated hairstyles.

In his next post, the model shared a photo of basketball legend Michael Jordon as a reference picture. 'Is looking like Michael B Jordan too much to ask?' he pondered.
Obviously, Jett was referring to the athlete's hairstyle, not his race, but AI had other ideas when asked to generate an image from the reference photo.
Jett rose to fame thanks to his famous parentage, modelling work, and appearances on Australian Ninja Warrior, Dancing With The Stars, SAS, and Amazing Race.
He debuted his relationship with Lily in 2022.

Neighbours legend Alan Fletcher reveals secrets of show's final EVER episode as soap says goodbye again

NEIGHBOURS legend Alan Fletcher claims fans of the soap will "adore" the final ever episode when it airs in December. The long-running Australian show previously called it a day in 2022 before Amazon MGM Studios intervened and gave it a new lease of life. 5 5 However, it has decided against making more episodes beyond 2025 and soap fans are once again mourning. Alan, who has played Dr Karl Kennedy for 31 years, believes executive producer Jason Herbison has crafted the perfect goodbye though, one which is very different from the last farewell. For its initial swansong, legends of the show's past returned, including Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan and Guy Pearce, delivering a heavy dose of nostalgia. In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Alan, 68, says: "He wanted to create episodes that were full of hope and full of community and the strength of community. And he's achieved it immaculately. "And, of course, he could never go anywhere near where we went last time. Now, that's done, that type of episode. So it's been really, really fantastic to work on this last ending. "I know the fans are going to love it. It'll go to air in December and it'll be adored." Having been saved once, fans might be holding out hope that another production company will intervene, but Alan doesn't think it's likely. "It'd be lovely if a TV saviour came along and said, 'oh no, let's keep Neighbours going', but I don't think that's very likely," he says. His feelings towards Neighbours' retirement is very different this time round, with disappointment now replaced by satisfaction. A modern filming style and fresh team reinvigorated the programme and the product was noticeably more refined. "The first time around, I was gutted," he says. "I was gutted for the fans, I was gutted for everyone losing their job, but partly I was gutted because I felt like Neighbours had unfinished business. "And when Amazon bought the show back, suddenly the show was revitalised. It had a new energy, a new crew, and I think it just looked a million times better. We changed the way we shot the show. "So by the time we got to the end this time, I think a lot of us just looked at each other and went, you know, we have just made 400 episodes of the highest quality TV drama that you could do on the budget. "If you think about how many shows are on Netflix that maybe do 16 or 13 shows in a season, we've done a hell of a lot of episodes, and they have been superb. So I just think we felt very proud at the end." While there's plenty of action to air between now and December, Karl's already been at the heart of some dark and challenging plotlines this year. He's fought to save his marriage to wife Susan as well as his health after growing addicted to painkillers, something that Susan's doctor nephew Darcy exploited. "This is what we crave as actors, of course, because it gave, it gave a really great opportunity to explore Karl's flaws," says Alan. "We've all perhaps seen the series Dopesick about who becomes addicted to painkillers and Karl gets stuck in that maelstrom. But he doesn't want to be in it. He actually genuinely believes he's shaken his addiction. 5 "And then, of course, Darcy drugs him in a way by giving him painkillers without him knowing it. Yeah, a great, clever story and a wonderful way to finish up on the show." Alan is currently in the UK and Ireland on a 34-date music tour, playing his honest and occasionally comedic brand of Americana, alongside his band, which includes his wife of 35 years, Jennifer Hansen. Though the music is his sole focus, he's also on the lookout for a UK TV agent that could get him some roles on our shores. "Like a lot of Aussie actors, I would crave to come and work in the UK," he admits. "And I'm looking to try and find myself a UK agent because I think the UK makes some of the best television in the world. "I think in terms of comedy, which I love to be involved in, the Brits are like the Australians. "We do understand satire and so there's incredibly sharp and witty television made here. And in terms of drama, the thing I really love about being in the UK is seeing how older actors, and I put myself in that bracket now, how older actors really get a good run on television and film. And some of the best UK actors, of course, are the older contingents. "You know, you name Judi Dench and so forth and Olivia Colman. It's not something that happens in Australia so much. Generally, the main roles are taken by younger people. So, you know, I'd crave to work here." Before that comes to pass, Alan is on the promo trail for his latest single, Back To School, a poignant ballad on how to nurture a loving relationship. "The title was about what I've learnt in studying philosophy, that love is something you can't take for granted, you have to really look at it," says Alan. "I mean, that's a bit of a cliche, but a lot of people don't spend the time. So it's really saying, let's get back to school and learn how to love. "It's a very musical, laid-back track, and it gets a great reaction from people." Both Alan and Jen went back to school, as it were, when they attended a lecture on love by philosopher Alain de Botton that helped to improve their own relationship. "It was quite transformative for us, because it reminds us that perfect love is a bit of an 18th century creation," says Alan. "And in reality, we all love each other's flaws, rather than trying to change each other. "And once we heard that, and kind of accepted that, and went, 'yes, absolutely, that's what it is'. So now if either one of us in the relationship do something that the other one would normally think is annoying or troublesome, now we look at it and go, 'oh, it's adorable that you do that'. 5 "So just accepting that we are who we are, and trying to change people, mold them to be the perfect human being, is a waste of time." At the tail end of last year Alan also released a classic slice of Americana in Tell 'Em, a duet with Jennifer that tells the tale of lost love. "It really is the first cut, the deepest I suppose, that notion of the first relationship you have and how it kind of never leaves you, even though you break up and move on with your life and you have other loves, there's some little tiny part of you that's still wishes that somehow you've been able to work it out all those years ago. "So essentially just saying, look, I know we'll never be together, but I just think of you all the time, or in flashes." Both tracks will be joining Alan on his tour which is taking place now and runs until September. Snezana Wood shows off her new red hair as she enjoys day out with her four-year-old in Melbourne - after teen daughter Eve broke down in viral video about her biological dad

Snezana Wood has stepped out with a new hairdo. The former Bachelor star is sporting recently dyed red locks as she enjoyed a day out in Melbourne with her daughter Charlie, four, on Wednesday. The 44-year-old's styled bob framed her face and matched her peach-toned makeup palette and pink lipstick. Snezana was dressed in activewear, including black tights, underneath a long, warm coat. She added a pair of white sneakers and carried her young daughter's blue unicorn hat. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Snezana strapped a black leather designer bag across her body and sipped from a takeaway cup of coffee as she strolled with her tot. The sighting comes after her daughter Eve opened up about her biological father in a rare and deeply personal public moment that has since gone viral. The 19-year-old broke down in tears during an interview with Dose of Society, which was shared to the popular Instagram page's 1.7 million followers earlier this month. In the raw and unfiltered video, Eve was asked: 'What is the most painful thing anyone has ever said to you?' Her candid response left viewers stunned: 'Probably that I don't deserve the life I'm living.' Wiping away tears, the Melbourne-based teen explained it was her biological dad, Jason Rapoff, who made the comment. 'I don't know why he said that to me. I grew up just with my mum,' she continued. 'She raised me to be the woman I am today. He wanted to see my mum suffer. And I think when he saw that my mum had built a life for both of us, it was just more of a reaction.' Snezana strapped a black leather designer bag across her body and sipped from a takeaway cup of coffee as she strolled with her tot Eve revealed she hasn't seen her biological father in eight years and that he was largely absent from her childhood. 'He was never around when I was little, so it was just my mum and I. I was very close to my mum's side. Everyone was there to support me. But I think he just did some things a while back that ended him in places he shouldn't have been in. He just got involved with the wrong people,' she said. The heartfelt clip quickly racked up hundreds of thousands of views and comments, with fans flooding the comments section with support and admiration for Eve's strength. When asked what she would say to her mum today, Eve fought back tears again. 'How proud I am of her,' she replied. 'She's done a lot. She sacrificed a lot. She was working nine to five, and after that going to uni. 'She ended up getting her bachelor's in molecular genetics and biology. Seeing how strong she is, how much strength she's got to keep going through all of this - it makes me proud to be my mother's daughter.' Eve, who has grown up largely in the spotlight after Snezana found love with Sam Wood on The Bachelor in 2015, later commented under the clip, offering further insight into how hard it was to speak so vulnerably on camera. 'Thank you so much for letting me share my story,' she wrote. 'I was nervous about how this would be received, especially being vulnerable on social media, knowing how harsh it can be. But the kindness and messages I've received have meant more than I can explain.' Snezana and Jason's short-lived marriage lasted a year before the pair separated in 2005, when Eve was just two months old.

EXCLUSIVE Real estate auction coach sends the internet into meltdown with his instructional video on how body language can connect with bidders

A bizarre video from a property auctioneer in which he instructs real estate agents on the best body language techniques to get higher bids has sent the internet into a spin. Brent Ilicic, a coach who has conducted more than 5,000 property auctions, this month shared the how-to clip in which he showed what appears to be series of dance moves to explain how footwork and hand position play a huge role in his job. The video caused a buzz on social media with many viewers questioning if the clip was 'for real'. Mr Ilicic this week told Daily Mail Australia he is indeed serious and that his 13 years experience as a successful auctioneer gave him unique insights. In the educational video, Mr Ilicic ran through a mock auction and how he would establish rapport with those bidding on a property. 'Body language plays a huge part in this: footwork, legs, chest, arms, eyes, smile,' he explained. Of particular import is having 'palms to the ceiling' and facing a person who bids while leaning in their direction, which he then demonstrates by fielding multiple bids from different imaginary buyers in quick succession. 'A couple of rapid fire bids coming from the right and to the left. Boom. Boom. Boom. It's like a bit of a dance. Flowing left to right and through the middle.' Mr Ilicic, who runs his own masterclass course, said the video was intended to help prospective auctioneers tackle one of the biggest hurdles they face. 'I coach beginners and what they struggle with is how to move their body,' he told Daily Mail Australia. The clip divided viewers with many finding the unusual promotional video 'hilarious' and 'informative' while others mocked the technique. 'Cringey, but don't hate the player hate the game. I mean salespeople use all sorts of techniques … weird as it looks, it might actually work for him,' one said. 'This is a joke right? Right?' another said. One viewer declared on Instagram: 'I just started yelling bids at my phone, this is incredible stuff.' 'Who needs Raygun when we have talent like that?' one said, referring to viral Olympic break-dancer Rachael Gunn. One particularly unimpressed viewer mused that 'real estate agents must be the least self aware people alive'. Mr Ilicic said he was 'surprisingly comfortable' with the negative responses as he's also received overwhelming positive feedback from existing and prospective clients. 'I've had a lot of people follow me and inquire about the training from that video,' he said. He also broke down why the video might look a little strange to some people. 'I don't just coach, I'm doing [auctioneering] every week as well in front of a crowd and in the training video I've slowed down and amplified what I do for coaching purposes.' 'I've got a few techniques that I use to help get [my clients'] bodies moving in different ways in the training room so I can see what works for them. 'I wouldn't coach unless I knew how to coach and I wouldn't coach if I hadn't done it successfully myself.' 'The proof is in the pudding – I've conducted a lot of auctions successfully for many years.'
