CUK opens registration for Integrated Teacher Education Programme
The Central University of Kerala (CUK) has opened registration for the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) for the academic year 2025-26. Candidates who appeared for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) can register through the university's official website, until July 31. The registration fee is ₹500 for candidates belonging to the General, OBC and EWS categories. An additional ₹100 will be charged for each additional programme selected during registration. The university offers five ITEP programmes on its Periye campus — BSc-BEd in Physics, BSc-BEd in Zoology, BA-BEd in English, BA-BEd in Economics, and BCom-BEd. The intake for BCom-BEd is 50, while each of the other programmes has 25 seats. A provisional rank list will be published on August 6. Complaints, if any, may be sent to admissions@ on August 7. Admissions will be conducted in three phases: August 8-11, August 12-15, and August 18-20. Classes will begin on August 25. Shortlisted candidates must complete the online payment of admission fee within 48 hours of receiving the provisional admission offer. Candidates claiming reservation benefits must upload valid category certificates (SC/ST/OBC Non-Creamy Layer/EWS) in the prescribed format at the time of registration and present the originals at the time of admission. ALIET 2026: The registration process for enrollment to five-year BA LLB (Hons), LLM, and PhD programmes for the academic year 2026-2027 will commence on August 7. The National Law University of Delhi has revise the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2026 exam date. Initially slated to be conducted to be held December 7, it will now be held on December 14. It will be conducted in a single shift from 2 PM to 4 PM. The registration process for enrollment to five-year BA LLB (Hons) and LLM, and PhD programmes for the academic year 2026-2027 will commence on August 7. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications by visiting the official website at The last date to apply is November 10. 5-Year and LLM Programmes: A minimum cumulative score of 45% of the total marks (or 40% in the case of SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities) is required for candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2) or an exam of comparable standard. For admission under the category of Foreign Nationals, students must receive a score of 65% on the Higher Secondary School Examination under the 10+2 system, or an examination with comparable standards. LL.M (One Year) Programme: A candidate for admission to the one-year LL.M. programme must have earned their LL.B. or an equivalent degree from an accredited university with at least a 50% overall (45% for SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities) grade point average. Ph.D: Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Law or a professional degree certified equivalent to the Master's degree in Law by the applicable statutory regulating authority, with at least 55% aggregate marks or a grade of 'B' on the UGC 7-point scale.
