In a Truth Social post on Wednesday, Trump said, "Our deal with China is done, subject to final approval with President Xi and me.
"Full magnet, and any necessary rare earths, will be supplied, up front, by China.
"Likewise, we will provide to China what was agreed to, including Chinese students using our colleges and universities (which has always been good with me!)
"We are getting a total of 55% tariffs, China is getting 10%. Relationship is excellent!"

Heated talks started to cool down after Trump announced that he had a "very good" phone call with Xi Jinping last week.
The president said that he and Melania were invited to the rival nation and that he extended a reciprocal invitation to Jinping and his wife.
"We both accepted, so I will be going there with the first lady at a certain point," Trump told reporters.
Trump forced the world into an overnight scramble when he announced sweeping 10% tariffs on nearly every country in the world.

He doubled down the pressure when he revealed his plans to charge massive reciprocal tariffs that were said to match taxes that American manufacturers have been paying out.
China was one of the hardest hit, as the world's largest manufacturer relies on American consumers to buy electronics, toys, and tons of other goods.

I'm a lottery expert – my brilliant tips to bag ENTIRE £208m EuroMillions jackpot… and the 3 ‘unlucky' numbers to avoid

FROM buying a Ferrari to holidaying in the Seychelles, we've all got a plan for how to splash the cash if we win the EuroMillions. Players have a chance of scooping the record-breaking jackpot of £208million this Friday - and now, top lottery expert Simon Horne exclusively tells Sun readers how to boost your chances of bagging the whole lot. Advertisement 3 The lucky winner would be richer than major celebrities including superstar Adele Credit: Getty 3 From buying your ticket early to monitoring your tickets on the National lottery app, here's how to win big Credit: Getty If a UK player takes home the money, it will be the largest prize ever won in this country, making the lucky winner instantly richer than the likes of Adele, Dua Lipa and Harry Kane. From picking your lucky numbers to whether you should join a syndicate, there's a heap of practical ways to boost your chances of getting richer overnight. Of course, the only real way of increasing your chances of winning is to buy more tickets. Advertisement Make sure you gamble responsibly. Only gamble with money you can afford to lose, and set a money limit before playing. If you need advice, visit Is a syndicate worth it? A lottery syndicate is when a group of people put money into a pot for lottery tickets. There will be one person in charge - the syndicate manager - who will buy tickets and share out any winnings out among the group. Playing as part of a group could be a good way of boosting your chances of winning, as Simon, from The National Lottery operator Allwyn UK, explains. Advertisement "If you join a syndicate of 10 people, then there's 10 tickets and 10 chances of winning, so there's clearly a greater chance of winning compared to if you just bought your own ticket," he said. The syndicate manager will need to register the group and list themselves as the person in charge with The National Lottery. National Lottery Winners' advisors tell The Sun what it's like to give away £7bn Make sure to write all the terms and conditions of the agreement down, and get each person to sign it, said Simon. "If there's any confusion or complications down the line, then you can refer back to the agreement and then everyone knows where they stand," he said. The big downside to consider being part of a syndicate is that you'll need to equally split the pot between each person. Advertisement So, if you were part of a syndicate of four people, splitting the £208million jackpot four ways would leave you with £52million - although that's still big winnings to walk away with. Pick YOUR lucky numbers 3 You might think that picking up the most common numbers may mean you are more likely to win. The number 20 has been drawn the most, according to which tracks lottery results. That's followed by the number 21, which has been drawn 108 times, then 23 (105 times), 42 (104 times) then 29 (103 times). Advertisement The most common Lucky Stars are 3, which has been drawn 178, and 2, which has been drawn 174 times. But you're better off picking whichever numbers you feel are best, said Simon. That's because, statistically, each number has an equal chance of being drawn. Many people pick their birthday numbers because they think they are lucky. "We all have lucky numbers - I know plenty of players who lean on lucky numbers, which could be phone numbers or numbers passed down from family members," said Simon. Advertisement "Every set of numbers has the same chance of coming out. "The best strategy to play is the one that you think will bring you luck." Monitor your numbers Not sure your lucky numbers are working for you? You could keep an eye on how often your lucky numbers are being drawn, and if they're not coming up as often as you would like, you can try a different tact. The National Lottery app stores all your tickets from draws you have entered. Advertisement The app is free to download from either the App Store on iPhone , or the Google Play store on Android devices. That means you can go back in and check your most profitable numbers. Should you buy more tickets? YOU'VE got to be in it to win it. Every time you buy a ticket the odds of winning increase. But WARNING - only spend what you can afford. At the end of the day, it's down to luck. This is why some people prefer to be part of a syndicate, where multiple tickets are bought. While this means you'll have to share the pot, the odds become more favourable each ticket you buy. You could make a spreadsheet of how often your lucky numbers are being drawn, and every three months, see whether it's worth keeping them, or ditching them for alternatives. According to the unluckiest Euromillions numbers are 22, which has been drawn 65 times, followed by 40 (73 times) and 18. The National Lottery app is free to download from either the App Store or Google Play. Advertisement Timing matters Timing matters when it comes to buying your ticket, said Simon. If you leave it to the last minute, then there's a risk that you run out of time to buy your ticket. You need to buy your ticket before 7:30pm on Friday - otherwise you'll miss out. "My main advice is not to leave it too late - don't rush into the newsagents or load up your app at 7:25pm," he said. "You might not be able to upload money onto your online account, or buy your ticket, in time and you could miss the draw." Advertisement Who made the rich list? Growing hope of trade deal to avoid tariffs between EU and US, says Tanaiste Simon Harris

Simon Harris, said the 'mood music' has improved in recent days and that he is more 'encouraged' following a discussion earlier today with Donald Trump's Trade Representative, Jamieson Greer. Last month Trump lashed out an EU negotiators and threatened a 50pc tariff from June 1 as punishment for 'our discussions with them going nowhere.' But a phone call with the European Commission President, Ursula von der Leyen two days later put discussions back on track and pushed the tariffs start date back to July. With that deadline approaching Minister Harris said: 'there isn't a day to lose' and while there is a 'way to go.. negotiations have now begun in earnest'. He said: 'What we need to find out in the days ahead, is there a landing zone that can work for everyone? And quite frankly, there has to be because this transatlantic trade agreement matters.' The EU and Ireland want to negotiate an outcome, he said 'and from my discussion with President Trump's trade representative, I think he wants that as well.' The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade said: 'The deadline for the pause in tariffs will run out in July so it is very important that people intensively engage, there isn't a day to lose here. "But I do now think that the mood music, in terms of trying to find a deal, to find agreement, is somewhat better than what it was days ago. The relationship is worth more than €1.4 trillion between the EU and US 'it cannot be snuffed at and therefore a solution has to be found,' he said. On Tuesday Minister Harris told Cabinet colleagues that he would urge the EU to exempt key sectors key to the Irish economy from any retaliatory tariffs should the current negotiations fail. These would include aviation, medical, agrifood and the equine industry. In a letter to the EU's negotiator, Maros Sefcovic, he also urged the trade commissioner to ensure that any retaliation against the US would not adversely impact the North. Although talks between the EU and US have intensified in recent days, the EU has been preparing a list of hundreds of US products worth some €95bn.

Drogheda United confirm UEFA set to deny club's entry to Conference League

DROGHEDA UNITED HAVE confirmed that they will be submitting an appeal to the Court for Arbitration for Sport (CAS) after UEFA notified them that they face expulsion from this season's UEFA Conference League. In a statement released today, Drogheda say they are 'devastated' by the governing body's 'harsh and unfair' decision after what they described as months of negotiations to reach an acceptable proposal. Advertisement Drogheda also believe the rule changes from UEFA over the last year have been 'inconsistently communicated and enforced across various clubs.' The Louth club are set to miss out on European action, and over €500,000 in prize money, due to multi-club ownership rules as they are owned by American investors Trivela Group and qualified for the Conference League after winning last season's FAI Cup. However, Silkeborg IF are also part of Trivela's structure and won the Danish cup equivalent. Their higher place finish in the domestic league also went in their favour. 'The club can confirm that it has been notified by UEFA that we are facing expulsion from the UEFA Conference League due to Drogheda United and Silkeborg IF having both qualified for the same competition,' a club statement began. 'This is despite significant efforts by the club to work constructively with UEFA to make necessary ownership and governance changes to allow both to compete over the past several months. We are devastated by this potential development and believe it would be both harsh and unfair, given the way brand new rule changes this year have been, in our view, inconsistently communicated and enforced across various clubs. 'We are now appealing the decision to the Court for Arbitration for Sport (CAS). Given we are now in the midst of an ongoing legal proceeding, and out of respect for that process, UEFA, the CFCB, and the overall aim of sporting integrity, there are limits to what we are able to share at this time. 'What we can say is this: we are—even at this late hour—fighting to do anything and everything we can to secure our players', supporters', and community's place in Europe. We have been in active dialogue with UEFA for months and have put forward a share disposition, trust arrangements, and various other undertakings consistent with recent CFCB precedent, only to have all of those efforts rebuffed. 'Nevertheless, we look forward to the opportunity to be heard at CAS and thank you in advance for your support.
