The film opened to a roaring start with a Rs 21 crore collection on its opening day, powered predominantly by its Telugu version which contributed Rs 20.25 crore. Though collections dipped on the second day by 50%, it picked up steam over the weekend, maintaining steady double-digit numbers and wrapping its first week at Rs 63.65 crore.
While the second week saw a significant drop — which is customary for most theatrical releases — HIT: The Third Case still managed to collect Rs 12.7 crore, thanks to strong word-of-mouth and Nani's loyal fanbase. Notably, the film performed especially well in the Hindi belt and Tamil Nadu compared to his previous outings, signaling Nani's growing pan-India appeal.
