The Young Bucks Mimic Cody Rhodes' Statement About ‘Respect'

Ever since losing their EVP titles, the Young Bucks have not been receiving the best treatment in AEW. The Bucks got their pyrotechnics removed, and their entrance video was cut. Whenever they show up on AEW television, it's treated like they are just enhancement talent.
On last night's episode of AEW Dynamite, when the former AEW World Tag Team Champions showed up for their match, their nameplates did not even read their names. It was just a default placeholder that said, 'Stat' followed by 'Talent Name,' and 'Social Media.'
Recently, former AEW Star and current WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes was interviewed by The Ringer. During the interview, The American Nightmare shared that he felt disrespected during his time in All Elite Wrestling, and that was why he chose to leave the company.
'There's clearly bad blood. But there's also clearly respect and love. In the end, the way I see it is, if I felt disrespected ever at WWE, that's one thing. That's a company that was built…that's the Yankees. That's the flagship of it all. If I ever felt [disrespected] there, I was a number on a sheet, maybe, but feeling disrespected at something I built with my friends. That we built. Feeling disrespected there, I wouldn't stand for it,' Cody Rhodes said.
After how things went on AEW Dynamite, the Young Bucks shared a similar sentiment. The brothers took to Twitter to share that the lack of respect hurts them the most.
'You know what hurts the most is the… the lack of respect. You know? That's what hurts the most,' The Young Bucks tweeted.
The Bucks' treatment in AEW is a storyline, but former TNA boss Scott D'Amore does see them leaving for WWE down the line.
