The first wave of free agency is now in the past, which means it's the perfect time to look ahead to the 2025 NFL draft.
As of the time of writing, all 32 teams still have their own first-round picks in April's draft. That means the 2025 NFL draft order remains unchanged from where it ended up after the Eagles' Super Bowl 59 victory.

Trades including draft picks can still happen up to and including the days and nights of April's draft, so things are still subject to change in the coming weeks.

Thursday, April 24: Round 1, 8 p.m. ET
Friday, April 25: Rounds 2-3, 7 p.m. ET
Saturday, April 26: Rounds 4-7, Noon ET

The Miami Dolphins are set to trade Ramsey, and his ending up with his former team would make sense. If the Ramsey trade does not come to fruition for the Rams, expect LA to attempt to land Alexander. The team already has Akhello Witherspoon and Quentin Lake, but adding Alexander would make this group elite. 4. Philadelphia Eagles The Philadelphia Eagles lost Darius Slay and Isaiah Rodgers to free agency, leaving the team with Kelee Ringo and Adoree Jackson opposite Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean. Again, this secondary is still quite formidable, but adding a talent like Alexander would put the unit over the top in terms of defensive capabilities. 3. Buffalo Bills The aforementioned Bills could still make a play for Alexander, especially now that he has been released. The team currently has Christian Benford, Maxwell Hairston, and Taron Johnson, but Alexander would boost the team. The Bills allowed 226.1 yards per game on average in passing in 2024. Adding Alexander could significantly improve that number, giving the team a more well-rounded defense. 2. The defense also lost Charvarius Ward, so more secondary help is needed. Adding Alexander to a defensive unit that includes Fred Warner, Nick Bosa, and now Bryce Huff, would make the team far more dangerous. Robert Saleh is also back as defensive coordinator, and he would likely relish at the idea of bringing in a strong veteran like Alexander. 1. Miami Dolphins As mentioned above, the Dolphins are currently in the middle of trying to trade Ramsey. When he is traded, it will leave the team exposed on the secondary side of things. Storm Duck, Cam Smith, Kader Kohou, and Ethan Bonner make up a secondary with many questions. The Dolphins want to compete in the AFC, along with the AFC West, meaning they need a strong veteran presence to be added. Look no further than Alexander. Granted, there are other veterans like Asante Samuel Jr., whom the team has already contacted. However, Alexander's release could become a godsend for the Dolphins. Jaguars sign P Logan Cooke to four-year extension
The Jaguars are keeping their punter around for several more years. Jacksonville announced on Monday that the club has signed Logan Cooke to a four-year contract extension. Cooke, 29, was a seventh-round pick in 2018 and has punted in 112 games for Jacksonville ever since. He's averaged 47.4 yards per punt with a net average of 43.6 yards in his career. Cooke's net average is the highest in league history since the NFL began tracking the stat in 1976. Cooke was a Pro Bowler for the first time in 2024, having averaged 49.4 yards per punt with a net average of 44.8 yards.
