A DAD who was mauled by a deadly shark on an Israeli beach reportedly wanted to stay in the waters and swim alongside the beasts.
Terrifying footage showed a shark circling around in water just moments before it attacked the swimmer in front of horrified beachgoers.

The swimmer was savaged off Olga Beach near Hadera, northwest Israel, in front of horrified crowds, and has not been seen since.
Israeli authorities are now scouring to find the swimmer who is presumed dead.
Local media reported that the man, whose identity has not been revealed yet, had gone to swim with the dusky sharks.
Dusky sharks are usually considered harmless to humans.
They often gather in the area, along with the endangered sandbar shark, because they like the warm water released by a nearby power plant.
The beach area is said to be famous among swimmers and surfers, where visitors play with sharks' fins and throw fish to eat.
One clip shared by the Israeli media showed a shark approaching the man in thigh-deep water.
The man can be heard shouting: "What a huge shark! Whoa! He's coming toward us!"
He then says to a boy "dont move" before asking: "What, are you afraid of the sharks?"
Harrowing footage showed the diver thrashing about as the water around him foamed red with blood.

People watched in horror from the beach as fins and limbs splashed around - but could do nothing to stop the savaging.
The attack happened in an area where swimming is prohibited, according to JNS.
An eyewitness revealed that the victim screamed "help" and "they're biting me" while waving his hands in the air.
She reported that he was then dragged further out to sea.
Eliya Motai, who saw the attack, told Ynet: "I was in the water, I saw blood and there were screams."
Another witness, Shlomo, said: 'We were just walking down to the water when we saw someone flailing in the sea — fighting a shark and trying to get away.
"The shark lunged at him. It was hard to watch. It was chilling. We literally saw the shark attack him.
"I don't understand how the beach wasn't closed. It could've been me. All of us are traumatised.'
A third told the site: 'It's no wonder they attacked. There are fishermen here all the time and their hooks injure the sharks, causing them to bleed. That's why they went after people.'
A massive search operation involving jet-skis and helicopters failed to find any trace of the swimmer on Monday, and was expected to resume today.
All the nearby beaches were closed by the authorities following the rare encounter and lined with black flags to enforce a swimming ban.
Yehuda Zimbris, who filmed the sharks at Beit Yanai, said: "I suddenly noticed two shadows in the water. I started recording and saw they were sharks.
"They got within 50-100 metres of the shoreline, which caused panic among swimmers.

Instead the mum used her contactless card to pay at the exit barrier as she left. After she tapped, a message told her she needed to enter her pin - a step not normally needed for purchases of £100 or under. However, bank security protocols do require customers enter their numeric passcode from time-to-time even for transactions under that amount. Regardless, Yaditi was in a rush and failed to spot that she was being charged a colossal £4,586 for her brief stay. "I was in a rush, the girls were getting tired, and I did not see the number on the small card machine," she told the BBC. She saw the display said '4,5' and mistakenly believed the fee was going to be £4.50. Instead, she was horrified after receiving a text notification from her bank showing the size of the charge. "To my shock, I saw that they had deducted not £4.50 but £4,586 from my account," she said. "It was surreal - I just couldn't fathom that they had taken that money." Real state company Savills, who manage the shopping centre, called it an "isolated incident" and said it was investigating to avoid other customers being inconvenienced by similar problems in the future. Ms Heer said: "The defendant then picked up a screwdriver and a kitchen knife from the table in the living room and approached Pearson, who asked him what he was doing and tried to walk away. "Without saying a word, he began to stab her with the knife repeatedly in a frenzied attack. "Jake Brown tried to pull his father away from her, only for the defendant to turn to him and stab him in the chest." The teen, who described his dad as completely expressionless" as he attacked them, then hid in the bathroom to call police. He later described the scene like "watching a horror film" as Brown burst into the bathroom and hit him with the bat. The killer then went into the communal landing to the flat next door, where Teohna and her partner were sitting in the living room enjoying a quiet Christmas day. Brown stabbed both victims multiple times with a "blank" face, Ms Heer said. Teohna was seen by a neighbour on the balcony of her flat clutching her throat and screaming: "Help! I can't breathe". Police discovered Brown's DNA on a baseball bat in the kitchen and knife recovered from his car. Blood from some of the victims was also found on his trainers and clothing. Following his arrest, Brown said: "Oh Jesus, what happened tonight What happened tonight, boy? Pure f***ing madness. Pure madness. "I've gone f***ing crazy guys. Just gone crazy." In a victim impact statement read in court, Teohna's partner said: "We both thought of you as our neighbour and close friend for a number of years. "The impact your crimes have had on me are never-ending. My whole world and future was heinously taken away by you." While Jo's mum Susan Pearson said: "We can only imagine how horrific her final moments were at the hands of Jazwell Brown. "Our own wellbeing has also been seriously compromised. Our faith in humanity has been seriously rocked. We don't think we will ever understand." Lawyer Celia Mardon of the Crown Prosecution Service said: 'Our thoughts today are with Jo and Teohna's families and loved ones who have suffered such unimaginable loss. 'We worked closely with Thames Valley Police to build a case to secure justice for all of those affected by Jazwell Brown's inexplicable and violent actions. 'Compelling evidence in our case included the accounts of eyewitnesses which were supported by forensic evidence. "Given the overwhelming evidence against him, Brown admitted to his crimes, thankfully sparing the victims' families and friends the ordeal of a trial. The taster said he was "forced" to down up to four litres of beer every day but was never warned of the heath risks. Taking matters to court, he said he was required to drink even more before public holidays and special events to meet sales requirements. The court heard his alcoholism was diagnosed eight years later. He later retired on medical grounds aged 65. But judges at the Second Panel of the Superior Labor Court rejected his plea for moral and material damages. Ambev's lawyers argued it was "humanly impossible" for the plaintiff to have consumed that much beer and still work - insisting tastings only require employees to take a "small sip" of the drink. They added that, as a master brewer, he would have been aware of the effects of excessive alcohol consumption and remarked he continued to work as a brewer even after being dismissed from the company. The hearing was the plaintiff's second appeal after his case was thrown out by two lower courts. Judges ruled in favour of the brewery following insubstantial claims linking his alcoholism with the firm. The ruling comes as researchers have revealed heavy drinking more than doubles the risk of brain damage. Boozers who down eight or more alcoholic drinks every week were found to have an increased risk of brain lesions associated with memory and thinking problems in a new study. You read more on the NHS website. The Brazilian research team say their findings don't prove that heavy drinking causes brain injury, but they do show an association. Study author Dr Alberto Fernando Oliveira Justo, of University of Sao Paulo Medical School, said: "Heavy alcohol consumption is a major global health concern linked to increased health problems and death. "We looked at how alcohol affects the brain as people get older. "Our research shows that heavy alcohol consumption is damaging to the brain, which can lead to memory and thinking problems." The study included 1,781 people who had an average age of 75 when they died. All had brain autopsies. Four out of 10 (40 per cent) of those who never drank had vascular brain lesions. Of the moderate drinkers, 45 per cent had vascular brain lesions while 44 per cent of the heavy drinkers had vascular brain lesions. Of the former heavy drinkers, 50 per cent had vascular brain lesions.
