Star names announced for The Good Life Show in Cape Town
This year's event will feature a star-studded line-up of international and local chefs, with the focus being on celebrating the ever-evolving organic, plant-based and natural industries.
The likes of renowned British Michelin-starred celebrity chef Jameson Stocks, internationally-acclaimed raw gourmet food pioneer Dr Aris LaTham and the E xecutive Chef at Mount Nelson Luke Lawrence Barry will all be in attendance to show off their incredible array of skills and knowledge.
Heidi Warricker, The Good Life Show's organiser, says: 'We are absolutely thrilled to have such a stellar line-up of chef talent on board. One of the biggest trends worldwide is wellness, sustainability and food awareness, and this is where The Good Life Show is bang on target.
"People are becoming more aware of what they are consuming, where it comes from as well as the effects on the environment. Chefs are actively seeking to source higher quality, locally sourced and often smaller producer ingredients. This trend is driven by a desire for fresh, flavourful and healthier food, support for local communities and a growing emphasis on sustainability and ethically-produced goods.'

Set to become one of next year's most compelling sports dramas, the trailer for Giant dropped this week to considerable excitement. Brosnan delivers what appears to be a deeply emotional portrayal in the fresh footage, as he motivates Naseem to overcome challenges and silence his critics. In a dramatic departure from his iconic suave Bond image, the Irish actor has undergone a transformation, now sporting long, white hair with a bald patch and donning spectacles. Meanwhile, El-Masry, known for his roles in The Night Manager and SAS: Rogue Heroes, is set to become a familiar face as he secures one of his first significant film parts. As the buzz builds for what might be the year's standout sports movie, film enthusiasts have flocked to the comments section to express their thoughts on the trailer. Chris Lewis, captivity research manager for Born Free, told The Sun people should not be fooled, and it's impossible to remove the wild genes and instincts in just one or two generations. He said: 'I would strongly advise against anyone wanting to purchase a savannah cat. 'They're considered to be a step up from your common domestic cat, because they're bigger, they're quite striking in appearance and have featured in a number of online videos with influencers or celebrities. 'So they are considered to be a fashionable pet, I guess." Chris said he would encourage people to remember that the domestication of cats and dogs occurred over the thousands of years over multiple generations. 'To assume that an animal after just two generations is suitable and capable of being kept adequately in a domestic environment within the UK is perhaps not appropriate, not advisable,' he continued. 'And any hybridisation of two species which are so noticeably different because the breeding of a domestic cat and a wild cat can be filled with welfare issues for the animals involved." Savannah's are not simply high maintenance, they are different animals from domestic cats - described as energetically hardwired, they are often accused of terrorising neighbourhood pets when allowed to roam. RSPCA scientific officer Evangeline Button told Discover Wildlife: 'It can be extremely difficult to meet the needs of a savannah cat. 'Providing an environment that meets the needs of these large animals is likely to prove extremely difficult, particularly in the average family home.
