In a conversation with Rolling Stone for the June issue, Sabrina became candid about the reactions to her 'Juno' positions. During her concerts, the 26-year-old performs certain songs that have rationally explicit content, where she stages intimacy or positions. While most of her fans find it amusing after taking the consideration her chuklesome personality, the critics have found it disturbing.
When asked about the reactions, Sabrina did not hesitate to call them out.
'It's always so funny to me when people complain. They're like, 'All she does is sing about this.' But those are the songs that you've made popular. Clearly, you love s-x. You're obsessed with it. It's in my show,' she explained.

Furthermore, Carpenter pointed out that she has more elements in the show, but the 'Juno' positions are the ones that get filmed the most and are anticipated. 'There's so many more moments than the 'Juno' positions, but those are the ones you post every night and comment on.
I can't control that,' she said, before adding that she even has ballads and introspective songs in the show.
The Grammy winner also pointed out that all the criticism aligns with the fact that the female artists are being more picked apart and scrutinised from time to time. While she is not upset about it, she deals with the pressure of being funny in every show.
Why do female artists have to grow a thick skin?
Carpenter added that the criticism keeps coming back at the female artists, and they're advised to have thick skin, but no one stops them from speaking out against the artist. 'We just have to grow thicker skin, but they don't have to learn how to shut their mouths,' she concluded.
