The pair read out questions which the Islanders then had to answer in their couples as they selected which couple they believe it applies to most.
It turned out to be a very tense game, heightened when Meg and Dejon voted Jamie and Yas for the 'most likely to care how they're perceived' category.
Dejon and Yasmin have notoriously not seen eye to eye during their time on the dating show.
And now, Love Island fans have speculated that Meg and Dejon feel threatened by Yas and Jamie, as one person wrote on X: 'Meg and Dejon deffo know Yas and Jamie are strong contenders. #LoveIslandUK.'
A second person added: 'Not meg and dejon going after yas and jamie now bc theyre the strongest couple.'
And a third person echoed: 'It's obvious what is happening here. Meg and Dejon know Yas and Jamie are winners and they feel threatened.'
Dejon's behaviour on the show has come under scrutiny from fans and, more recently, from his sister, who visited during Meet The Parents.
Gene and her mum Demelza paid Dejon a visit as part of the iconic episode.
Love Island's Dejon declares his love for Meg as they become boyfriend and girlfriend
The duo have since faced a backlash from fans who have accused them of glossing over Dejon's flirty behaviour with bombshells in the villa and "enabling" the curt way he has spoken to some of the girls like Billykiss and Yasmin.
On one occasion Dejon bluntly told Billykiss that she was after 15 minutes of fame by commenting on his relationship with Meg.
He rudely rated Yas's kissing skills zero out of 10 during a challenge and didn't like it when she claimed he was acting up just to keep partner Meg happy.
While on another occasion he refused to speak with Yas when she politely asked him for a conversation.
Gene insisted she gave Dejon a dressing-down during her visit and called out his more controversial moments, however none of it made the cut.
Speaking on TikTok, she said: "Me and mum, literally straight away, went in on him. I grilled him for five minutes straight and they didn't show any of it. Not even a single second. I just think it's crazy what they actually choose to put in the show."
She continued: "I told him about himself 'the way you handle situations sometimes you should handle in a better way'... I told him there's a lot of things you have to change when you come out of the villa.
"So many things in that conversation were spoken about and they showed 10 seconds of the conversation. We grilled him so much."
She finished by saying that while people can believe what they want to believe, she is "not an enabler" and will tell her brother and her siblings how she really feels.
There was a giveaway clue that Dejon had been on the receiving end of some home truths in the episode when he told his family: "You lot just come in to cook me or what?"
Viewers of Gene's video seemed to back her version of events, with one commenting: "Tbh I believe her. I actually noticed when Shakira was having a conversation with her mum about Harry how choppy the editing felt. If you go back and watch it's very obvious at times that they cut away from her mum talking mid-sentence."
Another said: "Fair enough! I'll give her the benefit of the doubt - his mum still didn't need to add that bit about apologising to Yasmin."
A third said: "It's not that his family didn't say things that excused his behaviour because they did, we heard that, but I do believe they grilled him too. Dejon seemed quite shaken after. They don't always show that balance though, because it's not as entertaining."

Woman buys £2 leggings on Vinted and is astounded when they arrive
A woman who ordered three pairs of leggings for just £6 on second-hand clothing website, Vinted, has claimed she was left baffled by what she reportedly received There's nothing like that feeling of ordering something online after admiring it for a while, waiting for it to arrive, and ripping open the parcel to see it in person for the first time. While it typically involves a lot of excitement, unfortunately there is the odd occasion when shoppers are left puzzled by what they have received. One shopper claims she was was left with a fright after opening up a Vinted parcel. The woman was browsing the second-hand selling app - where people often flog unwanted items for bargain prices - and spotted three pairs of leggings for £6 in total. Knowing she was unlikely to find brand new pairs of leggings for £2 apiece anywhere else, the buyer purchased them from the seller - who has a five-star rating on the app. The story was outlined in a clip shared to the popular TikTok page, Depop Drama. The narrator of the video said: "This girl bought some TikTok leggings for £6, but wait until you see what she received instead - I am absolutely lost for words." The shopper reportedly opened up her parcel to find a statue of a human skull inside, complete with a frog on top. "It's safe to say the skull looks nothing like these leggings," added the TikToker. "The interesting thing about this is that the seller has five star reviews - and 22 of them, so I'm not too sure what's happened here." He added: "So as you can see, the Vinted seller has sent it off with Royal Mail and I've since spoken to the buyer and she still hasn't received a refund." The TikToker claimed the buyer had contacted Vinted about her predicament but, at the time the video was posted, had not received a reply. "No way, why?" commented one shocked TikTok user. Others joked that they would have been happy to receive the skull. "I would have been been happier with the skull," said one. "I'd rather have the skull," joked another. One other wrote: "I'd be so happy with that, my room has so many so I'd happily add that to my collection." What happens if you receive the wrong item If you receive the wrong item from a Vinted seller, you should report the issue to the company and the seller as soon as possible. You can do so by pressing the 'I have an issue' button in the conversation with the seller. You will need to provide photographic evidence of the item being incorrect. If you purchased an item and you think it is significantly different to how it was described, you can suspend the order and submit a refund request, under our the buyer protection and refund policy.

'My son is obsessed with McDonald's – so I came up with perfect parenting hack'
As a parent, it can be hard saying no to your kids when they ask for certain things like junk food or the latest video game. But one mum has come up with the perfect hack It's undoubtable for parents to often cave whenever their kids ask for something slightly unreasonable. There are certain parenting tips that can make your life a lot easier, but now one mum has certainly sussed it and people are impressed. Posting on TikTok, Caitlin and Leah, who often share parenting tips with their 9.7million followers, came up with a genius trick to spoil their McDonald's obsessed son. In a recent clip, which racked up 224,000 likes, Caitlin claimed the couple had been spending a fortune on feeding their boy burgers and fries from the iconic chain, until she found a clever way to disguise it. The clip shows a voiceover which says: "Our son is absolutely obsessed with McDonald's and it's costing us a fortune. "So I've decided to make my own and disguise it. I really hope he doesn't notice." The video then starts with Caitlin sneaking into the kitchen and claiming one of the McDonald's bags that was put in the bin. After, the mum pours a portion of fries into the airfryer before rustling up a burger of her own. Once it's all cooked, she places the bits into the McDonald's packaging. Her final mission is to carefully place it all in the bag before giving it to her son for him to enjoy. Finally, you can hear Caitlin's son getting excited after seeing his McDonald's delivery. He says: "It's McDonald's. Want it want it. Want my burger burger. I love it! I love McDonald's. I love you darling." The video was shared with the caption: "I think we've found a new parenting hack. It's 30°C This Weekend – This Is The Heatwave-Proof Uniqlo Dress I'm Reaching For
@@tonediscoveries via TikTok and @ Rogue August showers may have led you to believe that summer is nearing its end, but the UK weather has a few surprises in store. In fact, the weather apps are now predicting a heatwave over the weekend. Good news, if like me, you were looking for a reason to snap up another breezy frock. While there's plenty out there worth considering, none have caught our eye quite like Uniqlo's Gathered Mini Dress, and if Instagram is any indication, the style set agrees. Made from lightweight cotton to keep you cool once temperatures skyrocket to the late twenties, the mini dress is also incredibly affordable, meaning you won't regret only getting a few wears out of it before the September chill (until next summer, of course). So what is it about the dress that's us charmed? Well, to start with, the silhouette. Designed with an elegantly gathered bodice that cinches the waistline, it bears a striking resemblance to some of Dôen's whimsical frocks, namely the viral Ischia dress, minus the signature, extravagant puffed sleeves. Its fit and flare shape is also flattering across a range of body types, with sizes XXS through XL available to buy. Cotton Gathered Mini Dress, Olive Price: £12.90 (was £34.90) If you're looking for something lightweight that will see you through the stifling heatwave, consider this cotton Uniqlo mini dress. Fashion insiders have taken a liking to the olive green version. Of course, as with any Uniqlo staple, the brilliance of the dress doesn't end there. It comes in a conveyor belt of colours and patterns to cater to every mood. The classic black iteration is ideal if you're looking for something a little more traditional and chic, while the mossy olive is an excellent option if you want to inject a touch of (muted) colour into your wardrobe. Meanwhile, the ditsy floral versions have become a big hit among well-dressed women and are, surprisingly, still in stock in all sizes. Oh, and did I mention it comes with pockets (!)? Plenty of stylish dressers have worn the Uniqlo dress on its own with western and biker style boots. For a touch of boyish charm, retro style trainers are your best bet, and for a pop of colour, choose Adidas Gazelles in either pink or blue. We've also seen plenty of fashionable people wearing mini dresses like this one as blouses, layered on top of wide-leg jeans and trousers. For casual outings, sling a best-selling Uniqlo Round bag across your body, or for an elevated touch, opt for a designer-inspired tote bag such as the Ellyla Woven Leather Hobo Bag. Cotton Gathered Mini Dress, Light Blue Ditsy Print Price: £12.90 (was £34.90) The darling ditsy version of the Uniqlo is simply pretty, and is available in two colours, including this light blue iteration. 3. Cotton Gathered Mini Dress, Off White Ditsy Print Price: £12.90 (was £34.90) The off white version is equally as charming. 4. Cotton Gathered Mini Dress, Black Price: £12.90 (was £34.90) For a chic put together look, consider the black shade, which can be dressed up or down depending on your mood.
