Aamir Khan Welcomes Sachin Tendulkar Home; Sitaare Zameen Par Cast Jumps With Joy
Last Updated:
Aamir Khan welcomed Sachin Tendulkar home and introduced him to the Sitaare Zameen Par cast. The video is going viral.
Aamir Khan welcomed Sachin Tendulkar home in the presence of well-known names from the film industry. As a video from their meeting goes viral, fans can't help but notice the joy on the faces of the newly-launched Sitaare Zameen Par cast after spotting the former Indian cricketer. Sachin, who is close friends with Aamir, arrived to meet him with his wife Anjali.
After the video went viral, fans drew speculations about the setting of the meeting. While some social media users claimed it took place at Aamir Khan's house, others believed it happened after a special screening of Sitaare Zameen Par. In one video, a guest is seen informing Aamir that Sachin has arrived while the former was playing foosball, prompting him to warmly welcome both Sachin and Anjali. The moment the cricket legend appears, the other guests light up with excitement and begin chanting his name. Sachin, visibly humbled, remained calm as he greeted the guests and Sitaare Zameen Par cast one after the other. Take a look:

Meanwhile, Aamir Khan exclusively spoke to News18 Showsha and refused to call Sitaare Zameen Par his comeback film. The superstar was last seen in 2022 film, Laal Singh Chaddha.
'Well, I'm not considering it a comeback film, quite honestly," Aamir told us exclusively. 'My films usually come out once in three years anyway. A lot of actors have 8 to 10 flops, but we don't call those comebacks, do we? I've had just one flop, and you're calling it a comeback? I haven't gone anywhere," he added.
Aamir explained that he was drawn to Sitaare Zameen Par because its story felt like a natural continuation of the message delivered in his 2007 film Taare Zameen Par. 'The script felt like an extension of what we were trying to say in Taare. That film was about inclusion, about a child with a learning disability. But in Sitaare, the challenge is even greater. It deals with individuals who have intellectual disabilities—children on the autism spectrum, with Down syndrome—who are much more atypical compared to dyslexia. And what's even more beautiful is that this time, it's not the neurotypical person helping them, but the other way around. The neurodivergent kids help the coach. That's why I feel this film goes ten steps ahead in the same theme."
Aamir added that the story resonated deeply with him, so much so that it felt like a 'spiritual sequel" to Taare Zameen Par, which is why the makers settled on the title Sitaare Zameen Par.
Sitaare Zameen Par is directed by RS Prasanna, and produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit. Also starring Genelia Deshmukh and ten newcomers, the film is a remake of the Spanish film, Champions. It releases on June 20.

Karan Johar Reportedly Gets A Face Insurance; What Does It Really Mean?
Last Updated: Karan Johar has reportedly insured his face, inspired by a friend. Find out what does a face insurance really mean. Karan Johar has reportedly insured his face. Well, the filmmaker-producer has yet to confirm the development, but a viral Reddit post claimed so. Insurance of one's face or other bodily assets is becoming a popular trend. But what exactly does face insurance mean? Let's find out. What does face insurance mean? For actors, models, and high-profile influencers, appearance is more than just aesthetics – it's a crucial part of their brand and a main source of income. In these cases, the face becomes an asset worth protecting, and insurance companies are now offering specialised policies. Face insurance generally covers injuries, disfigurement, and other facial damages –whether from accidents, botched cosmetic procedures, or unexpected health issues – that could impair a celebrity's ability to work. This financial protection compensates for potential loss of earnings and, in some instances, medical expenses. Celebrities find it a logical progression for those whose careers heavily depend on their appearance. If an actor or model loses a significant endorsement due to facial damage, the financial impact can be substantial. Insurance also provides peace of mind and is often required by studios or brands. While the practice may seem extreme to some, it is similar to other forms of body-part insurance already popular among celebrities – from singers insuring their vocal cords to athletes covering their legs or hands. What is the rumour about Karan Johar's face insurance? A recent viral Reddit post claims KJo recently insured his face. The post recently caught everyone's attention by stating that KJo flew to South Korea to get his face insured. Reportedly, the filmmaker was 'inspired' by a close friend from the South film industry to take this step. 'Rumour has it Karan Johar secretly flew to South Korea multiple times to get… his face insured. Yup, inspired by a close friend, and apparently it's a trend there. Insiders say he's been way more chill since—smiling more, less snappy, even gave a rare compliment at work. No word from him yet, but now we're all wondering: does this cover acne, sunburns, wrinkles? And how much is that premium?!" the post read. Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, John Abraham have insured their assets Karan Johar is not the first Indian celebrity to insure a body part. Amitabh Bachchan has his voice insured, and it is said that John Abraham has insured his buttocks. Hollywood celebs, too, have spent exorbitant amounts to insure their precious assets. Jennifer Lopez have reportedly insured her curves for a reported $27 million, while Mariah Carey insured her legs and vocal cords for an astonishing $70 million. David Beckham, renowned for his football skills and marketability, insured his legs for about $70 million during his career. Supermodel Heidi Klum insured her legs, with one leg reportedly valued higher due to a scar on the other. First Published:

"Chris Martin, Dakota Johnson wanted to experience...": Sonali Bendre recalls her Babulnath Temple visit with Coldplay singer, Hollywood actress
New Delhi [India], June 7 (ANI): British band Coldplay's lead vocalist, Chris Martin, came to India earlier this year and surprised his desi fans not only with his soulful concerts but also with his spiritual side. Before his gigs at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on January 18 and 19, Chris, along with Hollywood actress Dakota Johnson, paid a sacred visit to the iconic Babulnath Temple. They were joined by Bollywood star Sonali Bendre and 'Swades' fame actress Gayatri Oberoi. Several images and videos went viral in which Chris, Dakota, Sonali and Gayatri were seen offering prayers. Dakota and Chris, who have now reportedly parted ways, embraced Indian culture with full devotion. Sonali and Gayatri also accompanied Dakota to the iconic Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai back in January. Dressed in traditional attire, the trio appeared to be in high spirits, engaging in a lively conversation as they made their way through the temple grounds. Recalling meeting Chris and Dakota, Sonali in an Interview with ANI, shared, ' She's (Dakota) such a lovely person. It was my yoga teacher who told me that, you know what, somebody is coming in and they want to be taken to a few temples. Will you do this? I'm like, okay, who is it? And that's how I get to know. So I think Chris and her (Dakota) wanted to have a temple experience. And I think that's an experience everybody should have at some point. It was lovely. With her (and Chris), the night before everybody got to know we had visited Babulnath Temple. And then the next day, we visited Siddhivinayak Temple.' Meanwhile, Chris and Dakota recently made headlines with their alleged break-up. A source informed US-based magazine PEOPLE about their split. 'It feels final this time,' one source said of the split. Reps for the stars did not respond to PEOPLE's requests for comment. In March 2024, an insider told PEOPLE that Johnson and Martin had actually been engaged for 'years' after first sparking engagement rumours in 2020, though they were 'in no rush to get married' at the time. When breakup rumors surfaced in August 2024, a rep for the actress shut down the reports and said the pair were 'happily together.' Around the same time, a source said, 'Sure, they've had issues and taken breaks in the past, but things are great now. They both love their careers. They are balancing things the best they can.' Prior to that, a source said in June 2024 that Johnson and Martin, who mostly kept their relationship private, had their 'ups and downs, but now they're definitely back on.' Chris and Dakota have not addressed their separation rumours yet. (ANI)
