How to watch URC Grand Final: TV channel and live stream for Leinster vs Bulls today
Showdown: Leinster have lost four of their six meetings against the Bulls to date (Getty Images) The United Rugby Championship (URC) winners will be confirmed today as Leinster take on the Bulls at Croke Park in the Grand Final in Dublin. Leinster are in search of a record-extending ninth title on home soil this weekend, having finished top of the table and then defeated Scarlets 33-21 in a quarter-final tie at the Aviva Stadium. Advertisement Leo Cullen's side then brushed aside defending champions Glasgow Warriors at the same venue as they ran in six tries during a dominant 37-19 semi-final victory last weekend. Now the Bulls stand between Leinster and a first championship in the current URC format, with Jake White's team having finished eight points behind their opponents in second place before dispatching both Edinburgh and South African rivals the Sharks. Leinster go into the match as clear favourites as they look to banish the disappointment of their shock home defeat by Premiership finalists Northampton Saints in the semi-finals of the Champions Cup last month, but they did see their 12-match undefeated streak ended by the Bulls in Pretoria back in March after a dramatic late penalty from David Kriel. How to watch URC Grand Final TV channel: Today's showpiece fixture is being broadcast live on Premier Sports, with coverage beginning on Premier Sports 1 at 4pm BST ahead of a 5pm kick-off at Croke Park. Advertisement Premier Sports 2 will show coverage from SuperSport in South Africa from 4pm. A subscription to Premier Sports costs from £10.99 a month in the UK. Live stream: Those with a Premier Sports subscription can also catch the final live online via the Premier Sports app and website.

Should the Nets pursue Bulls' Josh Giddey in 2025 NBA free-agency?
The Brooklyn Nets have plenty of cap space to use in the 2025 NBA offseason and that will be the case even if they decide to retain some of their more important free-agents. Brooklyn would like to improve on a roster that went 26-56 during the 2024-25 season and with that being said, it's fair to wonder if they would pursue a player whose stock rose significantly. Chicago Bulls guard Josh Giddey will be a restricted free-agent this summer after spending the season with the Bulls following being traded by the Oklahoma City Thunder last offseason. Giddey, 22, seemed to raise his stock significantly after averaging 14.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, 7.2 assists, and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 46.5% from the field and 37.8% from three-point land. Advertisement One of the ways that the Nets can explore using their cap space, as noted by ESPN's Bobby Marks, is by using their money to go after restricted free-agents, such as Giddey, given that most marquee unrestricted free-agents are rarely let go by their incumbent teams without a trade. Given where Chicago is in the context of the league, they finished the season with a 39-43 record, they may be willing to let someone like Giddey walk if the price to keep him is too steep. HoopsHype's Michael Scotto reported in May that "the belief around the league is Bulls restricted free agent guard Josh Giddey hopes to command a similar five-year, $150 million deal to Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs and earn roughly $30 million annually or more." While paying Giddey $30 million per season would be a big investment for Brooklyn so early in the rebuild, it's important to note that figure may be the going rate for someone of his caliber. NBA insider Jake Fischer reported last week that Giddey is expected to remain with the Bulls due to the season that he had for Chicago along with the fact that the team might be trying to retool around Giddey after trading away DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine over the course of the campaign. Time will tell what the Bulls do in free-agency, but if they're willing to let Giddey walk, Brooklyn could have their point guard of the future. "This would be like D-Rose going back coaching the Bulls" - KG likes the idea of Mark Jackson getting the Knicks job
"This would be like D-Rose going back coaching the Bulls" - KG likes the idea of Mark Jackson getting the Knicks job originally appeared on Basketball Network. Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett isn't surprised that the New York Knicks fired head coach Tom Thibodeau. According to Garnett, Thibodeau's style is outdated, and the Knicks should have fired him as early as 2022 because it was clear that he wasn't going to win a chip there. Advertisement As for his replacement, KG and his buddy Paul Pierce discussed potential candidates like Patrick Ewing, Sam Cassell, and even their former teammate Rajon Rondo. However, the name that got The Big Ticket animated was former Golden State Warriors head coach Mark Jackson. "I like that Mark Jackson," said Garnett on the "Ticket and the Truth" podcast. "That Mark Jackson in New York have it cracking. Mark Jackson a real dude. New York need some…Mark Jackson in the Garden, who from New York? Queens? I actually like that better than he in Golden State. " Jackson delivers a different vibe Mark is widely considered the architect of the Golden State Warriors dynasty team. He coached the Warriors for three years from 2011-12 to 2013-14. After a 23-43 first season, Jackson led the Dubs to back-to-back playoff appearances, including a 51-win season in 2013-14. Advertisement However, just as when they were expected to turn the page, Jackson was fired, not because of his basketball performance but because he could not get along with people in the organization. Steve Kerr replaced him and immediately won the NBA title in 2015, but many consider Mark to be the architect of that team. The issue with Jackson is that he has not coached in more than a decade, and his three-year NBA coaching resume pales in comparison to the names currently linked to the coaching vacancy. However, KG says that Mark being from Queens gives him a different vibe from the other candidates. "Nothing better of a story that came from where you from…This would be like D-Rose going back coaching the Bulls. Man, can't nobody exemplify New York basketball better than Mark Jackson or be one up. That's like a bedtime story," added Garnett. Related: "I would feel very sorry for someone in today's NBA who had to guard him as a power forward or center" - Rick Carlisle says he would play Larry Bird as a big in today's era New York is not an attractive coaching destination right now Like Garnett, ESPN's Stephen A. Smith, who is a diehard fan of the Knicks, also made a case for Jackson as the team's next head coach earlier this week. But unlike KG, who said Thibs deserved to be booted out, SAS has been critical of his firing. In his recent take on the Knicks' search for a head coach, Stephen A. said that NY is no longer an alluring coaching destination. Advertisement "The New York Knicks are not as attractive of a job as one would argue they were last season. Why? Because you gave up five first-round picks, four unprotected, for Mikal Bridges, who's a damn good player. But he ain't Luka; that ain't Kevin Durant. That ain't LeBron. That ain't Steph Curry. That's not him," explained SAS. On Wednesday, the Dallas Mavericks denied the Knicks' request to interview Jason Kidd, essentially shutting the door on that option. The Minnesota Timberwolves and Houston Rockets also denied New York's bid to interview Chris Finch and Ime Udoka, respectively. These denials should tell New York that they may need to source their next coach elsewhere. It may not be bad to listen to KG and SAS right now. Related: "Where the hell are they going?" - P.J. Carlesimo doesn't see the logic of firing Thibs without a ready replacement This story was originally reported by Basketball Network on Jun 12, 2025, where it first appeared.
