PSG v Inter Milan LIVE: Team news and line-ups from Champions League final in Munich
The French giants' only European trophy came when they won the 1996 Cup Winners' Cup, and the Champions League has been the stated goal ever since the Qatari buyout in 2011. They came close in 2020, losing to Bayern Munich in the final, and a vibrant young side led by their passionate Spanish manager are determined to go one step further here in Munich.
Standing in PSG's way are Simone Inzaghi's Inter Milan side who dramatically knocked out Barcelona in the semi-finals. Inter, who lifted the European Cup in 1964, 1965 and 2010, also have unfinished business in this competition after defeat by Manchester City in the final two years ago.
Who will be crowned the new kings of Europe?
PSG hoping to battle through trauma
The terms 'Champions League final' and 'Munich' do not spark happy thoughts for PSG when used in the same sentence.
PSG failed to win Europe's most coveted prize at their previous time of asking, losing to Bayern Munich in an echoey final in 2020.
Five years on, they play at the home of their heartbreakers as they stand within touching distance of their holy grail.

Are the 'best team' in the Champions League... not in the final?
Mikel Arteta will certainly believe so!
Despite crashing out to finallists PSG in the previous round, the Arsenal boss is convinced that his side was a level above the competition.
'I don't think there's been a better team [than Arsenal] in the competition from what I have seen, but we are out,' Arteta told TNT Sports after the semi-final defeat in Paris.
He later reiterated his claim, saying: '100 percent. Watching it back, watching the stats. It's very clear but its not about the winning probability, it's about making it count.'

Luis Enrique issues rallying cry as PSG target Champions League glory
Luis Enrique has called on his Paris St Germain players to seize their chance to "write themselves into the club's history" by winning the Champions League.
Enrique told the club's official website: 'We all want to make history and to win Paris St Germain's first-ever Champions League.
'Winning a trophy for the first time is always the hardest, but that's what motivates me. There are only two teams and one game left, and I think that we can be proud of what we've accomplished, but we need to finish the job because our aim is to go down in history.
'Our team deserves to experience this final. I have no doubts about the fact that Paris St Germain's fans and the club itself deserve to win this trophy.
'I don't know if it'll happen on May 31, a year later or two, three or four years later, but I hope that we'll be the first ones to write that history because that's what's motivated us since we first set foot in Paris.'

Three ways Arsenal can line-up with Eberechi Eze in starting XI
Arsenal are basking in the glory of beating Tottenham in the race for Eberechi Eze – but Mikel Arteta must now work out where to play him. Spurs' deal for the Crystal Palace star was virtually done and dusted until Arsenal swooped in to hijack the move, reacting decisively to Kai Havertz's worrying knee injury. Arsenal have agreed a £67.5m transfer for Eze – but some football pundits have questioned who he'll replace in the Gunners' starting line-up. Nigel Winterburn has told Metro that he thinks Eze will be deployed on the left wing, which would relegate Gabriel Martinelli to Arsenal's bench. Arsenal feel the 27-year-old England international's best position is when he's used as a No.10 – an area that Martin Odegaard operates in. Metro's weekly football newsletter: In The Mixer. Exclusive analysis, FPL tips and transfer talk sent straight to your inbox every Friday – sign up, it's an open goal. Eze shone for Palace last season as one of two No.10s in a 3-4-2-1 formation – but could he replace Odegaard? Scroll on to find out… Eze has mainly been used as an attacking midfielder in the middle of the pitch – but he does have experience of playing as a left winger too. In the 2023-24 season, Eze played on the left wing 10 times, conjuring up five goals and two assists for Palace when he was used in that area. It's the position in which Arsenal arguably need the biggest upgrade – given Martinelli's inconsistency last term. Eze could be used as the left winger in Arsenal's 4-3-3 formation with Bukayo Saka on the right and Viktor Gyokeres up top. He would be free to cut inside and move into central areas – where Eze normally thrives. That's similar to how Arteta has used Leandro Trossard in the past. 'He's a player who I think is a game-changer,' Arsenal icon Winterburn told Metro about Eze. 'He's going to compete with Martinelli. All the players we're being linked with suggest they want to strengthen on the left side. 'That's where they're feeling at the moment where the competition isn't as strong as it should be. 'They can move players around, of course they can, but I would say he'll come in and play on the left side.' Arsenal have plenty of fixtures to deal with this season with the team competing in the Premier League, Champions League and domestic cups. It's unlikely that Odegaard will start every single match – and that could allow Eze to step in and play in his preferred position as a No.10 when Arteta decides to rotate his squad. Odegaard missed a number of games last term due to an ankle sprain – so if Arsenal's captain picks up any fresh injury problems in the 2025-26 campaign – that could also see Eze come in to replace him in the middle. Eze produced 14 goals and 11 assists across 39 games for Palace last season when he was used as a central attacking midfielder. Odegaard failed to register a single goal or assist in the four Champions League knockout games against Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain last term – so Eze could replace him if the Norwegian's form starts to dip too. The statistics in the table below show Odegaard's declining numbers in the Premier League across the last two seasons. It's no secret that Arsenal have sometimes struggled to break down teams who like to sit deep. Having two playmakers on the pitch – Eze and Odegaard – could fix that problem in games where Arsenal dominate possession of the ball. As mentioned above, Arsenal have a lot of fixtures to navigate in the 2025-26 campaign and Declan Rice will need a rest from time to time. Rice could be the player to drop out of Arsenal's XI to allow Eze to play alongside Odegaard and Martin Zubimendi in the Gunners' midfield. Arteta could also decide to use Rice as the defensive midfielder – instead of Zubimendi – which would allow him to play with Odegaard and Eze. It's been suggested that Eze could potentially operate as a false nine for Arsenal. More Trending That would require Gyokeres dropping to the bench, with Eze leading the attack in a central area. Given Havertz could be out injured for a lengthy period, this might make sense for Arteta to give the Gunners more options up top. Eze played up front for England in a friendly against Senegal in June and Arteta has been known to experiment with his players having used Mikel Merino as a striker last season. Tottenham can immediately get over Eberechi Eze snub by signing 'future of Real Madrid'
Tottenham have reportedly identified Nico Paz, once dubbed "the future of Real Madrid" by former boss Carlo Ancelotti, as an alternative to Eberechi Eze after he snubbed them for Arsenal Tottenham look to have lost out in the race to sign Crystal Palace sensation Eberechi Eze after rivals Arsenal swooped in with a transfer coup. But Spurs ' next target, Como's Nico Paz, was once hailed as "the future of Real Madrid." Despite Spurs chief Daniel Levy hammering out a £60million proposal for Eze, their north London rivals turned up on Wednesday evening with a £68m package. Thanks to executive vice-chairman Tim Lewis' relationship with Palace's Steve Parish, the Gunners managed to outmanoeuvre their rivals, and Eze has opted for a move to the Emirates. He hopes to play one final time for Palace in their Conference League play-off against Fredrikstad on Thursday evening, but may be held back due to injury risk. Tottenham must now shift their focus elsewhere, and former Real Madrid star Paz is reportedly on their radar and highly regarded. Having all but missed out on long-term target Eze, Thomas Frank's Spurs have turned their attention to other attacking midfield targets. They are keen to bolster this area due to injuries to James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski, and the departure of Son Heung-min. The Daily Mail suggests that alongside Monaco star Maghnes Akliouche, Como ace Paz is on the club's shortlist. Paz, born in Tenerife, started his career in local academies before moving to Real Madrid's famed La Fabrica in 2016. He started out as a defender but gradually moved further forward into more attacking positions. Following his B-team debut in 2022, Paz was given his first senior opportunity for Los Blancos in the Champions League clash with Braga 12 months later. His maiden league outing followed shortly afterwards. Alas, facing intense competition for forward positions, he pursued a transfer in August 2024 and joined newly-promoted Serie A outfit Como for a reported £5.1million. He made his debut for the club the following day with immediate impact. Real retain an approximate £10.5m buy-back clause for the youngster, and continue to hold some of his economic rights. The club's former boss Carlo Ancelotti suggested this provision might be triggered down the line while praising the star, which could complicate any potential deal for Spurs. Speaking to Rai Radio 1 last December, Ancelotti was questioned about Paz and couldn't contain his admiration, declaring: "Paz is a player we follow a lot. He is really good. "He's a great talent. This year of training away from Real is doing him a lot of good. We believe he is a player who can be the future of Real Madrid." Paz earned the Serie A Young Player of the Year award in Italy last season. The 20-year-old then won his first Argentina cap against Bolivia in October 2024 and, after setting up the legendary Lionel Messi, received acclaim once more. "Nico Paz has an incredible mindset, and that's why he's where he is," Messi declared following the 6-0 triumph. "Nico has a lot of quality and understands the game perfectly. "He has an incredible mindset, and he's with Cesc Fabregas (manager of Como) as coach, who is my friend and will help him grow a lot."
