Can you get Lies of P on Xbox Game Pass?

Lies of P Overture (Image via Neowiz). Lies of P , the soulslike action RPG that reimagines the Pinocchio tale in a dark Belle Époque setting, is no longer available on Xbox Game Pass . The game was removed from the subscription service on March 15, 2025, shortly before the launch of its first major DLC, Overture. Initially, Lies of P was a Day One release on Xbox Game Pass in 2023, allowing subscribers to play it at no extra cost. However, Microsoft's decision to rotate it out means players now need to purchase the game separately if they want to experience its challenging combat and twisted narrative. Why was Lies of P removed from Xbox Game Pass? Lies of P Overture - Let's Play Part 1: Krat Zoo Microsoft regularly updates its Xbox Game Pass library, adding and removing titles to keep the lineup fresh. Lies of P was part of a wave of removals that also included: - Yakuza 5 Remastered - Evil West This rotation strategy ensures new games are introduced but can disappoint players who relied on the service for access. How to play Lies of P now Since the game is no longer on Xbox Game Pass, players have two options: 1. Purchase the base game – Lies of P is still available on Xbox and PC via digital stores. 2. Buy the DLC separately – The Overture expansion, released in June 2025, requires the base game. Owning the game outright guarantees uninterrupted access to all future updates and expansions. What the Overture DLC adds to the Lies of P experience The Overture DLC serves as a prequel, expanding the lore of Krat and introducing new story elements. Key features include: - A deeper dive into the game's steampunk world - New weapons and enemies - Additional narrative layers to the main story Players who enjoyed the base game will find this expansion a worthwhile addition. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 오스템 임플란트 받아가세요 임플란터 더 알아보기 Undo While Lies of P is no longer on Xbox Game Pass, it remains a compelling experience for fans of challenging action RPGs. With the Overture DLC now available, there's more reason than ever to dive back into its grim, mechanically twisted version of Pinocchio's tale. Mom's passing is a void that nothing can ever fill: Niilam Paanchal

Niilam Paanchal with her mom Vasantiben Panchal Niilam Paanchal, who lost her mom Vasantiben Panchal in March, has resumed working. The actress, currently seen in the Hindi TV show Saru , shares, 'Her death is a void that nothing can fill. I miss mom every day.' 'I think I got my new show due to mom's blessings' Recalling the day when she got a call to audition for Saru, Niilam, who lives in Mumbai, shares, 'My mom was in hospital and I was with her 24*7. So, I was not keen to audition for the project, but my mother told me, 'You must do it, you will get this show.' I had to go for a mock shoot in Naigaon and when I returned, mom's condition had deteriorated. The day we lost her, I got a call confirming that I had been selected. I was not in a state to process that information. ' Niilam adds, 'I started shooting for the show barely a week after my mom's death, and it was a very difficult time for me. But my co-actors have been supportive and understanding. In a way, it is good that I started working because otherwise, I really don't know what I would have done. The show went on air on mom's birthday. I feel I got it due to her blessings.' 'I am keen to do more Gujarati films ' Before Saru, Niilam was seen in the TV show Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua, which went off air in February. She shares, 'Be it Ishqbaaaz , Hamari Devrani , Lajwanti or other shows, I have always played negative roles on TV. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Thousands Are Saving Money Using This Wall Plug elecTrick - Save upto 80% on Power Bill Click Here Undo In Saru, I am playing a positive character on the small screen for the first time and it's a great feeling.' In D-Town, she was last seen in the film Nasoor (2024). In an earlier interview, the Hellaro, 21mu Tiffin and Vash actress had told us, 'I was being offered mother's roles but don't want to play moms to 40-year-olds on screen.' Asked about her plans of making a D-Town comeback, she says, 'I am very keen to do more Gujarati films. It's refreshing to see that age-appropriate roles are being written now for women in Gujarati films too. In my TV show contract, it is mentioned that I will take a break and shoot for Gujarati films if I get one. But surprisingly, while I used to be offered a lot of Gujarati films earlier, I have not been offered any in recent times. My husband (Mihir Rajda) is a terrific actor and I am glad he made a successful debut in Gujarati films with Mithada Maheman . I hope we get to see more of him in Gujarati films.' 'I start crying whenever I remember mom during little moments' Talking about her mom's contribution in her journey, Niilam says, 'I lost my dad when I was just four-and-a-half years old. We are four sisters and mom struggled a lot to bring us up so beautifully. Our financial condition wasn't great, and she had to sell her jewellery. Woh silaai ka bhi kaam karti thi. Back then, a lot of people would say that there was no need to send girls to college, but mom made sure that I completed my graduation. When I started getting acting offers and shifted to Mumbai in 2008, I told her that I wanted to pursue it and she supported me. I had promised her that I would make her proud and when I won the National Award for Hellaro, it was a huge win for both of us. I could fulfil my dreams only because of her.' She adds, 'During her last moments, mom told me, 'Mere jaane ke baad tum logon ka kya hoga? Mann laga ke kaam karna, aur tumhari beti ko khoob padhana.' I still start crying when I remember her during little moments, and there are times I can't sleep at night. However, the show must go on. I hope I continue to do good work so that up there, she can be proud of me.'

US, China reach deal to ease rare earths export curbs, keep tariff truce alive

U.S. and Chinese officials said on Tuesday they had agreed on a framework to put their trade truce back on track and remove China's export restrictions on rare earths while offering little sign of a durable resolution to longstanding trade differences. At the end of two days of intense negotiations in London, U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick told reporters the framework deal puts "meat on the bones" of an agreement reached last month in Geneva to ease bilateral retaliatory tariffs that had reached crushing triple-digit levels. But the Geneva deal had faltered over China's continued curbs on critical minerals exports, prompting the Trump administration to respond with export controls of its own preventing shipments of semiconductor design software, chemicals and other technology goods to China. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Play Chess on Your PC, Free Play Classic Chess Install Now Undo Lutnick said the agreement reached in London would remove some of the recent U.S. export restrictions, but did not provide details after the talks concluded around midnight London time (2300 GMT). "We have reached a framework to implement the Geneva consensus and the call between the two presidents," Lutnick said. "The idea is we're going to go back and speak to President Trump and make sure he approves it. They're going to go back and speak to President Xi and make sure he approves it, and if that is approved, we will then implement the framework." Live Events In a separate briefing, China's Vice Commerce Minister Li Chenggang also said a trade framework had been reached that would be taken back to U.S. and Chinese leaders. "The two sides have, in principle, reached a framework for implementing the consensus reached by the two heads of state during the phone call on June 5th and the consensus reached at the Geneva meeting," Li told reporters. The dispute may keep the Geneva agreement from unravelling over duelling export controls, but does little to resolve deep differences over Trump's unilateral tariffs and longstanding U.S. complaints about China's state-led, export-driven economic model. The two sides left Geneva with fundamentally different views of the terms of that agreement and needed to be more specific on required actions, said Josh Lipsky, senior director of the Atlantic Council's GeoEconomics Center in Washington. "They are back to square one but that's much better than square zero," Lipsky added. The two sides have until August 10 to negotiate a more comprehensive agreement to ease trade tensions, or tariff rates will snap back from about 30% to 145% on the U.S. side and from 10% to 125% on the Chinese side. Investors, who have been badly burned by trade turmoil before, offered a cautious response and MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan rose 0.2%. "The devil will be in the details, but the lack of reaction suggests this outcome was fully expected," said Chris Weston, head of research at Pepperstone in Melbourne. "The details matter, especially around the degree of rare earths bound for the U.S., and the subsequent freedom for U.S.-produced chips to head east, but for now as long as the headlines of talks between the two parties remain constructive, risk assets should remain supported." RESOLVING RESTRICTIONS Lutnick said China's restrictions on exports of rare earth minerals and magnets to the U.S. will be resolved as a "fundamental" part of the framework agreement. "Also, there were a number of measures the United States of America put on when those rare earths were not coming," Lutnick said. "You should expect those to come off, sort of as President Trump said, in a balanced way." U.S. President Donald Trump 's shifting tariff policies have roiled global markets, sparked congestion and confusion in major ports, and cost companies tens of billions of dollars in lost sales and higher costs. The World Bank on Tuesday slashed its global growth forecast for 2025 by four-tenths of a percentage point to 2.3%, saying higher tariffs and heightened uncertainty posed a "significant headwind" for nearly all economies. But markets have made up much of the losses they endured after Trump unveiled his sweeping "Liberation Day" tariffs in April, aided by the reset in Geneva between the world's two biggest economies. PHONE CALL HELPED The second round of U.S.-China talks was given a major boost by a rare phone call between Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping last week, which Lutnick said provided directives that were merged with Geneva truce agreement. Customs data published on Monday showed that China's exports to the U.S. plunged 34.5% in May, the sharpest drop since the outbreak of the COVID pandemic. While the impact on U.S. inflation and its jobs market has so far been muted, tariffs have hammered U.S. business and household confidence and the dollar remains under pressure. Lutnick was joined by U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent at the London talks. Bessent departed hours before their conclusion to return to Washington to testify before Congress on Wednesday. China holds a near-monopoly on rare earth magnets, a crucial component in electric vehicle motors, and its decision in April to suspend exports of a wide range of critical minerals and magnets upended global supply chains. In May, the U.S. responded by halting shipments of semiconductor design software and chemicals and aviation equipment, revoking export licences that had been previously issued. Just after the framework deal was announced, a U.S. appeals court allowed Trump's most sweeping tariffs to stay in effect while it reviews a lower court decision blocking them on grounds that they exceeded Trump's legal authority by imposing them. The decision keeps alive a key pressure point on China, Trump's currently suspended 34% "reciprocal" duties that had prompted swift tariff escalation.
