Speaking on Fox News, Trump said, "There's a guy named Sean Hannity. He might take a very lovely young lady that he knows very, very well to dinner in Washington and they don't have to – she's sitting right next to you by the way – I don't want to get him in trouble so I better explain exactly". He added that they "don't want any secrets here."
Further praising Earhardt and the 'Hannity' host, Trump said they are in the "greatest relationship." The couple announced their engagement last year.

Through his live comments, the US President was seemingly trying to say that Washington D.C. was a safer place for them to go out on dates.
Noting that he was not "breaking any news," Trump said this might be the "most important thing" that he spoke about on the show. Also, he called Hannity and Earhardt "great people".
Trump said he did not want to see the couple getting muffed when they were spending time together. "Now they can go out (in Washington D.C.), they can hold hands, they can walk down the street, they're both superstars," he added.
Besides them, the show also featured Charlie Hurt as guest host.
During his appearance, Trump even tried to know who among the two of them "makes more money". But Lawrence Jones later changed the subject after trying to intervene multiple times.

Hannity and Earhardt announced their engagement during the Christmas holiday last year. As per the USA Today report, they later shared the news with their employer in an interview on December 26, 2024.
Hannity popped the question to Earhardt during a visit to their home church, highlighting how their shared faith brought them together. Later on, the couple revealed that they had received the blessings of their children, adding that they "couldn't be happier" for them.
Trump congratulated them in a post on his Truth Social platform on December 27 last year.
"There are no finer people than these, and there will be no finer couple. Congratulations to both - A deal made in HEAVEN," he wrote.
Before meeting Earhardt, Hannity was married to Jill Rhodes between 1993 and 2019, sharing two children with her.
Earhardt, meanwhile, was earlier married to former Clemson University quarterback Will Proctor between 2012 and 2019. The former couple has a daughter together. Also, she was married to Kevin McKinney from 2005 to 2009.

New Delhi: 'Some of India's richest families' are involved in the country's 'unacceptable' 'profiteering' from buying and reselling Russian crude, a Trump cabinet official said on Tuesday (August 19), indicating no let up in the US's stance against New Delhi's continued purchases of oil from Moscow. US treasury secretary Scott Bessent's remarks also came a day after senior White House trade adviser and economist Peter Navarro wrote in a newspaper column that the proceeds from India's purchases of Russian oil – which he said are unbecoming of an American strategic partner – 'flow to India's politically connected energy titans, and in turn, into Vladimir Putin's war chest'. Recalling in an interview to CNBC that Russian crude went from constituting less than 1% of Indian oil imports just before Russia's 2022 invasion of Ukraine to around 40% today, Bessent said that India 'is just profiteering'. 'So India is just profiteering … they're reselling, they've made $16 billion in excess profits, some of the richest families in India,' said Bessent, whose role is roughly equivalent to that of finance minister. India's 'arbitrage' in 'buying cheap Russian oil' and 'reselling it as [a] product has just sprung up during the war, which is unacceptable', he continued. Earlier this month, US President Donald Trump announced a 25% 'penalty' tariff on India – on top of an existing 25% 'reciprocal' levy – in response to its sustained purchases of Russian oil despite Moscow's continued aggression against Ukraine. New Delhi termed the penalty, which is scheduled to take effect on August 27, 'extremely unfortunate', saying it was being singled out 'for actions that several other countries are also taking in their own national interest'. When asked in the CNBC interview if China – which is the biggest importer of Russian oil ahead of India but does not face a penalty for its purchases – was not also in the wrong, Bessent said that what Beijing is doing is a 'completely different thing'. Ambani had also met Trump ahead of his inauguration in January as well as at a state dinner organised for the president in Qatar by its Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. 'The refiners buy oil at a steep discount, process it and then export refined fuels to Europe, Africa and Asia – all the while shielding India from sanctions scrutiny under the pretence of neutrality … The proceeds flow to India's politically connected energy titans, and in turn, into Vladimir Putin's war chest,' he wrote in an op-ed in the Financial Times. Going on to call India's reliance on Russian oil 'opportunistic and deeply corrosive of the world's efforts to isolate Putin's war economy', Navarro declared that if India 'wants to be treated as a strategic partner of the US, it needs to start acting like one'. But a day after hosting the leaders of Ukraine and several European nations at the White House, Trump said his motivations were not all earthly. "I want to try and get to heaven if possible," Trump told Fox News morning show "Fox & Friends." "I hear I'm not doing well -- I hear I'm really at the bottom of the totem pole! But if I can get to heaven this will be one of the reasons." By traditional yardsticks the three-times-married, twice-impeached Trump is no saint. The billionaire Republican has been embroiled in a number of scandals over the years and is the first president to have a criminal conviction, in his instance a hush money case involving payouts to a porn star. Trump cancels August vacation to work on Russia-Ukraine
Agency: Last Updated: Washington, Aug 19 (AP) The White House on Tuesday said President Donald Trump called off his traditional summer vacation in northern New Jersey due to the ongoing talks to end the war in Ukraine. Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, confirmed the president's decision. 'This is normally the time when the president goes on vacation, but not this president," Leavitt said, adding that there were 'discussions about him working from Bedminster for a couple of weeks but he decided against it." Bedminster is the location of his club in northern New Jersey, where Trump often goes for weekends. He also spent some stretches of time in August there for vacation during his first term. The comments from Leavitt came when the White House took a portion of the day's press pool out to the renovated Rose Garden as the president tested out the area's new speakers. Earlier, Deputy White House Chief of Staff Dan Scavino posted footage showing off new speakers installed as part of Trump's makeover of the White House's Rose Garden. One of Trump's favourite songs, Lee Greenwood's 'God Bless the USA," blares in the video, over a shot showing patio-style tables shielded by yellow umbrellas. The shot later focuses in on an American flag overhead. Leavitt subsequently brought reporters to the Rose Garden and said Trump was controlling the playlist as crews tested the speakers for 'what will be the best event in the history of the White House." She said the next party there will be 'hopefully soon." Other songs being played included 'Whiter Shade of Pale" by Procol Harum.
