This year's theme, Future Ready Smart Solutions, aptly sets the stage for Schneider Electric to display its latest advancements in industrial automation and digital innovation. Furthermore, Schneider Electric will leverage AAFT 2025 to launch two highly anticipated flagship products to its industry partners.
Today, Africa stands at the forefront of a technological revolution and the continent's automation market is expected to reach $7.43bn by 2029, says Mordor Intelligence. The market is driven by the adoption of smart technologies and improvements in infrastructure, digital connectivity and the strategic ambitions of both local and international businesses.
'Africa is increasingly active in shaping the global automation industry. AATF 2025 provides the perfect platform to actively highlight how far the continent has come in delivering leading automation solutions for the unique needs of the various industries it serves,' says Christophe Begat, industries vice president for Anglophone Africa at Schneider Electric.
'Furthermore, sectors such as agriculture, energy, food and beverage, manufacturing, and mining are already realising the impact and efficiencies of automation technologies, which continue to play an important part in regional growth and ongoing innovation. This allows for the quick and precise design of production processes, resulting in better resource management,' he says.
Visitors to Schneider Electric's stand can expect interactive demonstrations of the company's EcoStruxure platform that connects operational technology (OT) solutions with IT technology, all tailored to the needs of the African market. Schneider Electric's stand will be situated on the main exhibition floor (Stand L519).

Vodafone taps Amagi as partner for new FAST TV offering on GigaTV
This engagement is being delivered through Amagi's FASTKit solution, an end-to-end framework for launching and scaling FAST services with minimal platform lift. Amagi, a provider of cloud-based SaaS technology solutions for broadcast and streaming television, has been chosen by Vodafone as the technical service provider and content aggregator for its newly launched FAST (Free Ad-supported Streaming TV) initiative. The new service officially debuted in Germany in July 2025, marking Vodafone's entry into the growing FAST segment. As part of the agreement, Amagi will serve as Vodafone's key partner in delivering the FAST experience, offering a comprehensive mix of technology, channel delivery coordination, and content monetisation capabilities. Vodafone Germany rolled out the first seven FAST channels on its GigaTV platform on July 3, 2025. The collaboration is powered by Amagi's FASTKit solution, a turnkey framework designed to simplify the deployment and scaling of FAST services. FASTKit integrates Amagi's cloud infrastructure with end-to-end content operations, including metadata and EPG packaging, ad monetisation and access to a curated catalog of FAST-ready programming. The channels are fully embedded into Vodafone's latest generation of GigaTV set-top boxes, featured directly in the Electronic Program Guide (EPG), eliminating the need for users to install any additional apps. Commenting on the partnership, Emma Jones, Global Head of Content at Vodafone Group, said: 'This partnership underscores our priority to broaden content choice efficiently. Amagi's cloud-native FAST origination and distribution services enable us to introduce new channel line-ups swiftly, manage inventory centrally, and deliver a consistent experience to our customers.' The partnership reinforces Amagi's growing role in enabling global media companies to adopt agile, cloud-based solutions for delivering next-generation TV experiences, while helping Vodafone establish a competitive foothold in the rapidly evolving FAST market. Sridhar Sinnasamy, Sr. Vice President and business leader for FASTKit at Amagi, added: 'This is a milestone FASTKit deployment for us in Europe — one that aims to combine technology, content operations, and monetization as a fully managed solution. Vodafone's launch in Germany demonstrates how platforms can scale FAST quickly and effectively when the foundation is right. With Amagi's FASTKit, we aim to help partners accelerate time-to-market, reduce operational friction, and unlock new revenue streams — all while delivering a compelling viewing experience.' Amagi provides cloud-managed video infrastructure for live, on-demand, and OTT TV. The company has a presence in the EMEA markets, and its clients include some of the world's biggest names in the Media and Entertainment industry.
