TORONTO, June 5, 2025 /CNW/ - Bell Media and Disney Entertainment today announced new streaming bundle offers for the Canadian market that include Disney+, Crave, and TSN, slated to launch later this year. The turtle was brought to Loggerhead Marinelife Center in January suffering from predator wounds to the front flipper. The veterinary crew at the Juno Beach facility assisted in Dilly Dally's rehabilitation and care. 'Every time we can release a turtle back into the wild is special and not just for us but for all the interns and volunteers and everyone that puts an effort to getting these turtles back out there. The weird, wondrous and extremely painful world of Larry Zolf
I happened to be on a panel about the late Larry Zolf (1934-2011), which is part of the current Toronto Jewish Film Festival. Zolf was a Canadian icon of a peculiar sort. He came from Winnipeg's very immigrant, working class, highly intellectual, left-wing Jewish community and headed for Toronto, the CBC especially, like a homing pigeon. He was featured on the legendary, unknown (a unique Canadian combo) show, 'This Hour Has Seven Days,' that flared for a few years in the mid-1960s and was swiftly smothered by the mother ship that birthed it. He was loud, garrulous, funny, pompous, over-educated and physically … memorable. Also highly ambitious, combative, arrogant and insecure. Everything showed.
