Steven Gerrard kills rumours he's back in Scotland to become Rangers manager as he posts video from far-off location
STEVEN GERRARD is the favourite to become the next Rangers manager.
But despite rumours he's been in Scotland to seal the deal, he seems to be on the other side of the world.

SunSport exclusively revealed this week that Gerrard was one of the front-runners to land the role, alongside Russell Martin.
According to reports out of Spain, Real Madrid assistant Davide Ancelotti remains in contention as well.
But so many signs have appeared to point that Gerrard is leading the chase.
Some bookies SUSPENDED betting on Gerrard becoming Rangers manager for second time earlier this week.
Since markets have returned, the Liverpool legend has been the odds-on favourite to land the role.
Alongside all of the drama, rumours have been rife across social media and fan forums that Gerrard is IN Scotland.
However, that does NOT appear to be the case.
Gerrard has been living in Bahrain since he took the Al-Ettifaq job in Saudi Arabia in early 2023.
He's remained there in the country just across the border since being dismissed form the Saudi role at the beginning of this year.
And it appears that's exactly where he is NOW.

Gerrard has posted an Instagram story from the stunning Four Seasons Hotel in Bahrain.
Seemingly filmed by Gerrard himself, the clip shows the idyllic setting of Bahrain Bay in Manama.
Gerrard and his family have been living in Manama, the country's capital, for the past couple of years.
