The Karnataka School Examination and Evaluation Board (KSEAB) has lowered the SSLC passing marks from 35% to 33%, aiming to ease pressure on students and promote better pass per the new rule, students now need to score at least 206 marks out of 625 (including internal and external assessments) to pass. But there's a catch – they must also score at least 30% in each subject's written exam, which comes to 24 out of 80 change, part of the draft Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (Amendment) 2025 regulations, was published in the state gazette on July 25, 2025. Payment can be done via debit card, credit card, or online banking. After submitting the application, students will receive SMS notifications regarding the status of their request. Revaluation only if discrepancies found There is no fee for applying for recounting if the request is made after verifying the scanned copy of the answer sheet. This ensures that students can double-check their marks without financial burden, provided they have already reviewed the evaluated script. However, revaluation is permitted only if the student identifies a clear discrepancy in the awarded marks after examining the scanned copy. This two-step approach ensures that only valid cases proceed to revaluation.
