How Ben Affleck Really Feels About Tom Cruise Dating Ex Ana De Armas After He Declared His ‘Love' for Latinas
Ben Affleck has some opinions about his ex Ana de Armas dating the other hottest man in Hollywood right now. After the Knives Out and Mission Impossible stars were spotted on several dates, a person close to the Air director revealed that he's having mixed feelings about the situation.
'Ben is kind of [a] jealous [type], yup,' a source told the Daily Mail. 'He really liked Ana a lot and then she walked away and left him sad. So to see her happy with his friend is kind of weird for him.'

Affleck's friends joked that he 'should get revenge on Cruise by dating his ex-wife Katie Holmes.' However, there wouldn't be any tensions between the actors. 'I think every working actor in Hollywood is jealous of Tom's success and Ben is not any different,' the source added.
'But Ben is also happy for Tom,' the source assured. 'I mean, he admires that a colleague in his sixties is still going hard on the big screen. Ben hopes to be so lucky one day.'

Before they were spotted together, de Armas also praised Tom Cruise for his stunt skills. In 2023, while discussing her own stunt work for the film Ghosted, she actually gave the action star a glowing review. 'I'm not at a Tom Cruise level yet,' she told USA Today. 'But I can appreciate what he does 100 percent now, and I totally get why he does it. He's so mind-blowing.'
The timing of the article raises questions because TMZ posted an paparazzi interaction where Ben Affleck confirmed that he still 'likes' Latinas. When asked by a paparazzo about if he felt great about being Hollywood's most eligible bachelor he responded with, 'Muy bien' … or, 'very good.' He also asked the actor if he likes Latinas, and he replies, 'Yes, of course.'
Ana de Armas, who hails from Cuba, and Ben Affleck dated for nearly a year from 2020 to 2021. As for why she broke up with him, she described the attention from the paparazzi as 'horrible' but since realized that it was 'good' because the situation was 'one of the reasons why I left L.A.' She explained to Elle the effect living in L.A. had on her mental health and hinted it was one of the reasons her relationship with Ben didn't work. 'Going through it [myself] confirmed my thoughts about, 'This is not the place for me to be.' It became a little bit too much. There's no escape. There's no way out. … It's always the feeling of something that you don't have, something missing. It's a city that keeps you anxious.' She also added that she left social media because of the breakup. 'I deleted Twitter years ago. I have barely been on Instagram for almost a year.'
Affleck just got a divorce from on-and-off lover Jennifer Lopez, so who knows who's going to end up with Hollywood's most eligible bachelor.

Loose Women cuts live studio audience amid ITV budget cuts
Loose Women is poised to experience an overhaul as one of the show's key parts is 'axed' amid 'brutal' budget cuts across ITV. The show, which features a rotating panel of presenters, has been running since 1999, and has traditionally been filmed in front of a live studio audience – but reports suggest that this has now been cut. The in-person attendees are considered a vital part of the show, providing applause, laughter, feedback, and exchanges with presenters throughout the live programme. It comes after the show's output was cut to only 30 weeks a year, just as Lorraine also saw its time slot slashed in half. 'The panelists are really upset over the decision to axe the live studio audience from the show,' a source told the Daily Mail. 'It's what sets the series apart from the rest of ITV daytime and now there are massive fears that viewers will switch off completely.' They continued: 'The only concern now is to cut costs and having a live studio audience can be expensive, with the added need for security and a warmup artist. 'Presenters already know how it feels to broadcast the show without an audience because that's what happened during the pandemic, and they all know it creates low mood and lack of atmosphere.' ITV declined to comment when approached by The Independent. However, a source said: "While there is a proposal to not have a studio audience for Loose Women from 2026, that doesn't necessarily mean that we'll never have a studio audience again, it just won't be in the same way as it is now. At this stage we are still exploring new ways of working and producing the show when we move to a new studio next year." Loose Women presenter Nadia Sawalha expressed fear for her job earlier this week as she shared her concerns on social media. Sawalha, who has been a panellist since 1999, addressed the news of cuts on her YouTube channel. 'What people don't realise at Loose Women is that we're self-employed. I am self-employed. Every contract is a new contract. I could be let go tomorrow. I could be let go in five years. You don't know because we're not employees.' Getting emotional, the former EastEnders actor, 60, continued: 'What's been brutal, absolutely brutal, over the last week, honestly I feel tearful about it, is that hundreds of people… are going to be made redundant out of the blue. These are all the people behind the scenes that support us in every way. 'A lot of my friends and colleagues on this show and have worked for ITV have been there for decades… and I can't tell you how upsetting it was to see people walking around numb with shock and fear about what they are going to do.' She added that 'television is coming very slowly to its natural end'.

Tom Cruise Stuns Fans With Jaw-Dropping Parachute Stunt Video
Tom Cruise has released a jaw-dropping video of the Mission Impossible - The Final Reckoning stunt with a parachute on fire. He performed the stunt 16 times. The video shows Cruise skydiving with a blazing parachute. "Light the fuse," his caption reads on June 5, 2025. "What I'm going to do is I'm going to be deploying. If this is twisted while it's burning, I'll be spinning and burning. I have to kick out of the twist and then ignite in 10 seconds," Cruise said in the video. The video shows Cruise interacting with other people on set as the stunt was being created. The parachute was submerged in gas so it would ignite and explode in the air. "We are going to be real smart. I'm not saying be risky. We don't take risks, you know,"' Cruise said in the video. "Let's go." People expressed admiration for Cruise's devotion to stunt work in the comment thread of his post on X. "I am so impressed by how many times he was willing to redo that scene. Seriously cool work," wrote one fan. "I really have to give props to Tom Cruise with the Mission Impossible franchise. He really did great work throughout," wrote another person. Another fan expressed concern, though. "I love what you do to entertain us, but I am also scared for your life. Seeing the BTS videos is exciting and gives us a glimpse of the way you trained for each stunt. You are amazing and a little crazy (sorry). Every stunt is so nerve-wrecking. And a lot can go wrong," wrote a fan. "I love everything you do, every movie you make and that you are who you are. Thank you."Tom Cruise Stuns Fans With Jaw-Dropping Parachute Stunt Video first appeared on Men's Journal on Jun 5, 2025

What Is Most Expensive Film Since 2015? Not Tom Cruise's ‘Mission'
Greg Tarzan Davis, Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg and Hayley Atwell in :Mission: Impossible - The Final ... More Reckoning." The reported $400 million production budget of Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is spendy, but surprisingly it's not the most expense film to be produced over the past 10 years. The Final Reckoning, which opened in theaters on May 23, saw its production budget balloon to $400 million over a variety of factors, including the COVID-19 pandemic, reshoots and the SAG-AFRTA and WGA strikes against the studios, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Amazingly, the film could have cost more if not for the 'tens of millions of dollars in tax incentives and rebates from the various countries' that was subtracted from production's cost, THR added. As massive as The Final Reckoning's production budget is, THR cited a pair of other films in the past 10 years that cost more to produce than Cruise's latest — and possibly last — film as Ethan Hunt. LONDON, ENGLAND - DECEMBER 16: Stormtroopers arrive for the European Premiere of "Star Wars: The ... More Force Awakens" at Leicester Square on December 16, 2015 in London, England. (Photo by) While Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning saw its costs skyrocket because of COVID-19 and the shutdowns caused by the industry strikes, THR noted that there are two other installments from major film franchises had even bigger production budgets. Interestingly, both of the films were released before the first nightmare throttled the entertainment industry in 2020. Among the most expensive films since 2015 was 2018's Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which THR said had a $432 million production budget before marketing costs. Lucky for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, while the film cost a lot of money to make, it also made a lot of money at the box office. According to box office tracker The Numbers, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom earned nearly $418 million in North American theaters and $890 million internationally for a worldwide gross of $1.3 billion. While Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom had a massive production cost, THR reported that 2015's Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens had an even bigger production budget of $447 million. Once again, though, the film earned enough at the box office to justify its cost. Per The Numbers, The Force Awakens earned $936.66 million domestically (making it the highest-grossing film domestically of all time, before inflation) and $1.119 billon for a worldwide box office gross of $2.056 billion. It's worthy to note that The Numbers reported that the production budget for The Force Awakens was $533.2 million, a number considerably higher than THR's report on the Star Wars sequel's budget. The Numbers isn't the only outlet to report the $533.2 million figure — Forbes senior contributor Caroline Reid also cited the number in her detailed breakdown of the The Force Awakens production budget in February of 2023. While the final domestic, international and ultimately worldwide gross of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is yet to be determined, at least the film is off to a good start at the box office with $363 million in worldwide ticket sales since its opening on May 23 — an amount, of course, that will be split with theater owners. On top of that, there's one other budget The Final Reckoning needs to recoup — the film's marketing costs. THR, however, did not disclose what that number could be.
