Madison replied to her father's message at the time, playfully correcting his grammar.
'@julianmcmahonofficial, no YOU'RE awesome,' she wrote.
McMahon, who was best known for roles on Charmed, Nip/Tuck and Marvel's Runaways, died earlier this month after a private battle with an undisclosed form of cancer.
'With an open heart, I wish to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer,' his wife, Kelly McMahon, wrote in a Friday, July 4, statement. 'Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans. His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible.'
She continued, 'We ask for support during this time to allow our family to grieve in privacy. And we wish for all of those to whom Julian brought joy to continue to find joy in life. We are grateful for the memories.'
Julian married Kelly in 2014. He was previously married to Dannii Minogue from 1994 to 1995 and Burns, 47, from 1999 to 2001.

Burns, for her part, broke her silence on Julian's passing on Saturday, July 5.
'Rest in Peace,' she captioned a throwback photo of the late Australian star and Madison.
In the comments section, Hallmark star Kristoffer Polaha offered his support.
'I'm praying for you and Maddy as you and her especially grieve this out ❤️,' Polaha, 48, replied.
Other stars, including members of Julian's Charmed family, have also expressed their heartbreak and condolences.
'I'm heartbroken. Julian McMahon was magic. That smile. That laugh. That talent. That presence,' Alyssa Milano wrote via Instagram. 'He walked into a room and lit it up — not just with charisma, but with kindness. With mischief. With soulful understanding.'
The 52-year-old actress added, 'Julian was more than my TV husband. He was a dear friend. The kind who checks in. The kind who remembers. The kind who shares. The kind who tells you the truth, even when it's uncomfortable — but always with love.'

Tennis world sends flood of messages amid lovely news for Sam Stosur and partner
Sam Stosur has announced the birth of her second child with partner Liz, sparking a flood of congratulatory messages for the Aussie tennis champion. Stosur took to Instagram on Wednesday night to announce the arrival of a baby girl called Emmeline Grace. "And beautiful chaos reigns once again," Stosur wrote alongside a photo of the new bub. "Evie is beyond happy to have a little sister and we are over the moon. We love you so much little Emmy." Aussie tennis great Rennae Stubbs led the well-wishes, writing: "Just another gorgeous baby girl for me to love endlessly! Emmy your Auntie Nae Nae can't wait to meet you!! Sam and Liz, I'm so happy for you both and Evie, you're going to be the best big sis ever! Love you all." Retired Russian tennis player Elena Vesnina wrote: "She is precious. Congratulations Sam!!!" While Aussie player Maddison Inglis commented: "So beautiful!!!! Can't wait to meet her." Fellow Aussie great Alicia Molik added: "Congrats Sam Liz and Evie." View this post on Instagram A post shared by Samantha Stosur (@samstosur) Stosur and Astling had their first daughter Evie five years ago. On that occasion it was Astling who carried Evie, but this time around it was Stosur who gave birth to Emmy. Stosur is a legend of Australian tennis, famously winning the US Open singles title in 2011 when she beat Serena Williams on her home court. She reached World No.4 in singles that same year, and was World No.1 in doubles in 2006. She also won six grand slam titles in doubles - four in women's and two in mixed - including the Australian Open mixed title in 2005 and women's title in 2019. The 41-year-old is now the captain of Australia's Billie Jean King Cup team, helping mentor some of the country's best young talent. Sam Stosur's brave move after keeping relationship secret Stosur has been in a relationship with Astling since 2016, but she admitted she was initially too scared to go public because of what the reaction would be like. After she won the 'Spirit of Tennis' award at the Newcombe Medal ceremony in 2019, she realised she wanted to show her partner the proper recognition she deserved, but hadn't done so in her acceptance speech. 'I was in the car park at the end of the night and something just didn't feel right because I'd thanked all these people who were obviously very, very important to me, but not my partner,' she said at the time. 'And she is a huge part of what I've been able to do. And who I am now. "And that just didn't sit well with me. And I thought, 'Do you know what? Bugger this, I just want to thank her and I want to do this'. So that's why I put it on Instagram. As you get older and you're more mature and you reflect more on things and I thought, you know what, this is who I am.' 'Once I stepped off stage I was like, 'What are you doing? You've just accepted this award, thanked all these people and the person who is really with you every single day, the person you have the most candid and open discussions with who you want to spend the rest of your life with, you can't mention them on stage?," she added. 'I was like, 'Nah, that's ridiculous, I don't want to do that anymore'. We were walking back to the car to come home and I said, 'I want to do this' and I think I hit send at 3am or something.' The Block's Adrian Portelli announces move to Channel 7 as he slams Scott Cam
Adrian Portelli, the billionaire who purchased all five homes on The Block last year, has hit out at claims the show's host, Scott Cam, told him not to return as a buyer this season. Scott told Sydney's Nova 96.6's Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie that he wanted Adrian to "give mums and dads the opportunity to have a crack at a Block house," however, Adrian has refuted the remarks on his Instagram Stories, posting a screenshot of a Yahoo Lifestyle story and captioning it with, "Scotty, you're talking porkies. "I told you guys I was leaving. There was never a conversation of being told to sit out of this season." The LMCT+ founder then hinted, "Something big is coming," before describing the Block homes as "hyped up, over-valued, multi-million dollar homes," joking that this was "just what the average Australian family can afford". Adrian then teased, "I've got a better idea." RELATED: The Block's Scott Cam issues brutal message to Adrian Portelli ahead of 2025 season premiere The Block host Scott Cam's shock comment about 2025 contestants: 'Annoying' The Block 2025 star's bold admission exposes detail about Channel 9 show Adrian Portelli to appear in new Channel 7 show My Reno Rules in 2026 Taking to Instagram on Thursday morning, Adrian confirmed the major rumours that started swirling last year by revealing that he now has his own TV show with Channel 7 called My Reno Rules. "Bet my high school teachers never thought… I'D HAVE MY OWN TV SHOW ON CHANNEL 7!" he wrote enthusiastically. "The reno game's looking a little dusty. Time for a fresh coat. The gloves are off. "My Reno Rules - Coming to Channel 7." Channel 7 has issued a statement saying, "Coming to Seven and 7plus in 2026, My Reno Rules is a brand-new renovation competition that's raising the stakes and flipping the script with two epic twists set to transform the lives of everyday Aussies. "Hosted by Dr Chris Brown, My Reno Rules sees four hardworking teams of Aussie battlers going head-to-head, breathing new life into two neighbouring rundown houses in a picturesque Melbourne suburb. Their mission? To transform these properties into breathtaking homes for the chance to win life-changing prize money to secure their own futures." They added, "But it's not just the contestants who walk away with the prize. "In a must-watch television event, the live grand final will see two lucky Australians receive a life-changing call telling them they've both won a spectacularly renovated, multi-million-dollar home – fully furnished, landscaped and equipped with state-of-the-art technology. "The live prize draw will be managed by principal program sponsor, Adrian Portelli of LMCT+." Adrian said, "LMCT+ has always been about changing the lives of everyday Australians, so when this opportunity came up with Seven, it just felt right. For me, it's about giving back – and doing it in a way that's big, bold and exciting. "These homes are in a beautiful area and have real potential. With the right teams and vision, they're going to be incredible. I can't wait to be part of a show granting lucky Aussies a brand-new future, and inspiring thousands more along the way." View this post on Instagram A post shared by Adrian Portelli (@adrian_portelli) Dr Chris Brown added, "The term 'life-changing' can get thrown around a lot on TV, but this is absolutely that. Imagine winning a brand-new home – that's going to be the reality for two lucky Aussies. And if you're a passionate renovator, you could also win a massive cash prize. With the dream of owning your own home still top of the list for most Aussies, I can't wait to have a front row seat to that becoming a reality. It's going to be a heartwarming ride!" If you're thinking the name sounds awfully familiar to Seven's My Kitchen Rules, Seven Group Managing Director, Television, Angus Ross explains, "My Kitchen Rules is one of Australia's most successful original formats and a powerhouse brand for Seven. My Reno Rules takes all the heart and heat of MKR and applies it to renovation. "With showstopping house transformations, a life-changing cash prize for our winning team of renovators, and two multi-million-dollar dream homes up for grabs in an electrifying live grand final, we couldn't be more excited for the premiere of My Reno Rules. It's going to be next level!" Adrian Portelli fans share excitement over his new Channel 7 TV show Adrian's followers were quick to share their thoughts on the new TV show, with one person writing, "Finally something good on TV." "See ya later Block," another said. "Reno shows just got interesting," a third quipped. "The Block crying right now no houses are gonna sell," someone else joked. Become The Block," yet another wrote. Many others wrote that they "can't wait to see it", while some said they were ready to apply. The exact air date is unknown, but the show is scheduled to premiere in 2026.
