The actor spoke about his past during an interview with People magazine, looking back on the moment when he discovered the secret from his father, Charles.
In the video, the action movie star, now 71, shows a family picture, mentioning 'that's my father and my mom. I cannot remember how old I am at the time'.
Later, he recalled the moment when his father shared the secret while he was driving the car.
'My father was a very handsome guy, and my father was a spy. I got to know my father's secret when I was 40 something... One day, I was driving my car and my father suddenly said, 'Son, I'm old. I might sleep and never wake up'... I have a secret to tell you... You are not Chan. Your original name is Fang,' he added.
The actor revealed that he was 'very shocked' at the revelation and initially felt unable to listen to his father Charles' explanation of his past.
Back in 2003, Jackie had commissioned a documentary, Traces of the Dragon: Jackie Chan and His Lost Family, which tells the story of how his father worked as a government spy during the Chinese Civil War in the 1940s. His mother, Lee-lee, also had a secret past as an opium smuggler and gambler, which the film covered.
Jackie Chan got the ticket to Hollywood in 1995 with a role in Rumble in the Bronx. However, it was 1998's buddy cop comedy Rush Hour opposite Chris Tucker that cemented his status as a star.
Jackie returned to the Karate Kid franchise with Karate Kid: Legends. The film sees Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio reprise their roles as Mr. Han and Daniel LaRusso. The film follows a new young martial artist, played by Ben Wang, as he is trained by Chan and Macchio's characters. The trailer features scenes from a martial arts academy, intense action moments in New York, and Jackie Chan's voice-over saying, "In life, you only have one question: Is it worth fighting for or not?"
The film was released on May 30 in India.

Will Prince Harry Change Family's Last Name to Spencer Amid Feud With Royals? Know About Secret Chat With Princess Diana's Brother

Prince Harry is allegedly planning on changing his family name to Spencer. The title was used by Princess Diana as her surname. The Duke of Sussex has reportedly discussed it with his uncle and the former Princess of Wales' brother, Charles. According to the Daily Mail reports, Harry taking his mother's last name would mean the abandonment of the Mountbatten-Windsor title, which has been used by the British Royal family for ages. Prince Harry' s suggestion of changing his last name comes almost five years after the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex took an exit from Buckingham Palace. Moreover, the former royal member has also locked horns with the Prince of Wales and the monarch since. As for his chat with Charles Spencer, Prince Harry met his uncle during one of his rare visits to his home country. However, Spencer asked the Duke not to take such a step, as it would invite new legal challenges. Charles Spencer's advice to Prince Harry Speaking about Prince Harry's conversation with his uncle Charles, a friend of the Duke's revealed to the media portal, "They had a very amicable conversation and Spencer advised him against taking such a step." Meanwhile, Harry himself has used Wales as his last name, as both his parents were known as the Prince and Princess of Wales. As for his children, both Archie and Lilibet add Mountbatten-Windsor to their names. Previously opening up about her Sussex family name, Meghan Markle shared with People Magazine that she did not realise the deeper meaning attached to the name until she had children. The Duchess went on to explain, "It's our shared name as a family, and I guess I hadn't recognized how meaningful that would be to me until we had children." She further added, "I love that that is something that Archie, Lili, H, and I all have together. It means a lot to me." Prince Harry and Meghan Markle married each other in 2018 and left the royal family in 2020, following the birth of their son.

Sinners, Starring Michael B Jordan, Now Available For Rent On OTT

Last Updated: Michael B Jordan's Sinners is now streaming available for rent on Amazon Prime Video and will be available in 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD from July 8. After hitting theatres on April 18 this year, Sinners has earned the title of the 8th highest-grossing film of 2025. Now, after collecting $350 million worldwide, the Michael B Jordan-starrer is all set to release on Amazon Prime Video on June 3 — that is, today. Helmed by Ryan Coogler, the supernatural horror film follows the story of two identical twin brothers — Smoke and Stack, who return from Chicago to their hometown in Mississippi after years spent in the criminal underworld. Determined to open a juke joint of their own, they gain the support of their close-knit community. But as the opening night unfolds, a dark presence begins to creep into the celebration. What stands out even more is Michael B Jordan's brilliant portrayal of both twin brothers. Recently, Jordan and Coogler, who have collaborated five times since Fruitvale Station (2013) — discussed the process in a special featurette titled 'Thicker Than Blood: Becoming the Smokestack Twins." The featurette will be available with Sinners' home release. Speaking to People magazine, the actor and director opened up about the process behind Jordan's dual performance. Coogler shared that he drew inspiration from real-life twins Noah and Logan Miller, whom he consulted while developing the characters. He said, 'They were able to work with Michael to get into the psychology of who Smoke and Stack are." He added, 'They gave us a lot of perspective on what it's like to be an identical twin and the kind of bond they share. Since I've known these guys, they've shared one cell phone. You'd call and not know who'd pick up, but you always knew the other one was right there." Jordan's Realisation About Twins Reflecting on his experience, Jordan said, 'What we kind of understood about identical twins is that one is more dominant in certain areas than the other. So discovering those little details was really fun and quite insightful from a process point of view." He added, 'They are physical — they stood differently, they walked differently." Different Characteristics of Smoke and Stack The Creed III director explained, 'Smoke, he wore his trauma differently; he kinda closed up a bit. And Stack was a lot lighter. He smiled through his pain, he smiled through his trauma. So just getting into all that work helped me feel confident and prepared." Earlier, in another People interview, the Black Panther actor said, 'I've got a brother that I'm extremely tight with and close and love a lot, and best friends that are like brothers." Alongside Michael B Jordan, Sinners also stars Hailee Steinfeld, Miles Caton, Jack O'Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Jayme Lawson, Omar Miller, Li Jun Li, and Delroy Lindo. Sinners is now available on OTT platforms for rent from June 3 and will be available in 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD from July 8. First Published:

Blake Lively seeks withdrawal of the massive claim against Justin Baldoni with a prejudice; here's what we know

The Lively-Baldoni legal mess just hit a questionable affair after requested to withdraw a massive claim against the 'It Ends With Us' actor in court. The 37-year-old asked to withdraw and dismiss her claims of intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now What did Justin Baldoni ask in response to her original claims? According to People magazine, Justin Baldoni filed a letter to address the judge in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York, where he requested an order for Blake Lively to identify her medical and mental health care providers. How did Blake Lively respond? Lively would have to sign a HIPAA release so that Baldoni could get access to therapy notes and relevant medical care information. However, the tables turned faster than the wind, and she not only asked for withdrawal of the claims, but she demanded to withdraw the claims of emotional distress without prejudice instead of complying to Baldoni's requests. 'Without prejudice' suggests that Blake Lively refuses to 'disclose the information and documents needed to disprove that she suffered any emotional distress' as well as maintain the right to refile her claims at an unknown time in this or some other court after the discovery window has closed. In the document filed by Baldoni, he specifically mentioned that Ms. Lively cannot have it both ways. The 'Gossip Girl' alum's lawyers stated to People magazine that Justin Baldoni is 'desperately seeking another tired round of tabloid coverage,' and Lively's lawyers are tying to streamline the focus of the case. From the original filings... The point to be noted is that Blake Lively continues to allege emotional distress in other claims, such as sexual harassment and a retaliatory smear campaign, along with massive additional compensatory damages on all of her claims. In the original filings by Lively, she claimed that Baldoni's behaviour during and after the shoot of the film 'It Ends with Us' extremely affected not only her, but also her husband, , and their four children.
